Very quick check in and check out. Equipment was clean and well maintained. I was impressed by how they treated the truck when I left. I could see them doing a multipoint inspection to make sure the equipment was ready for the next customer. This is the second U haul I have rented in 30 days (two girls off to different colleges). Both experience is both locations were very professional. This is not the old U haul company.

Worst experience I've ever had. I booked a truck the day before I was to pick it up. Because I was picking up outside normal business hours, I had to jump some extra hoops and put a lot of extra work into it. I get to the location, pull up the link as I was instructed to do, and there was an error message "on our end" that I couldn't get past. I called Uhaul and a woman couldn't help me, so she asked if she could put me on hold while she spoke to her manager. I waited over a half hour and she never came back. Back to the stupid link they emailed me - I eventually was directed to the one person listed as a 24/7 customer care line. I called 20 times and no one picked up. At this point, I had been waiting for an hour and a half. Mind you, this was 5am and I had coordinated my whole family and the move around the booked pick up time. I was in panic mode. After about a half hour of calling this man, he finally picked up and was confused as to why I was calling his personal cell. I told him it was listed in the link as a 24/7 help line. He eventually transferred my reservation to a different location because my truck was not at the location (Willamette St. Eugene, OR) after all of the time I spent booking it. I had to wait until 7am when that location opened. I was taken care of decently at the 7th location, but I was so furious at that point, it doesn't matter. DO NOT USE THE PICK UP OUTSIDE NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS OPTION. This totally limits you, but I lost two hours of my life because their system is SO TERRIBLE. And to answer a question you may have, NO they did not give me a refund. Good luck.

Overall, we had a good experience. There were two issues however; We planned on using the express checkout, but couldn't figure out the process and ended up waiting in line. Also, the hand truck and blankets that were ziptied inside the truck took up valuable storage space. We wish we had been informed that they were there and offered the choice of taking them out. We appreciate the marketing aspect of having them there, but we found them to be just in the way.

The vehicle was pretty beat up! It had a loose hood, the accelerator seemed to get stuck and wanted to speed up acceleration of the vehicle Had to kind of tap the accelerator pedal to get it to calm down. I did feel alittle unsafe at times in this vehicle. I have rented from this location a few times and have generally had a good experience. I made sure they were made aware of my concerns and suggested they do a vehicle safety check as well as a service on this vehicle.



The moving van I rented had some sort of mechanical issue and was very difficult to drive. when I went to return it, the mileage meter had me 40 miles over what I had driven. thankfully the employees were very understanding and kind and gave me a discount so that my original deposit still covered the mileage charge.

I wish we would get credit for extra gas in the tank at the end of the day. Oregon is one of those states that doesn't allow you to pump your own, and the dude running the pump stopped paying attention and put in extra fuel despite explicit instructions.

I really appreciated the man that helped us get set up. He noticed that my ball wasnt adequate and in so doing saved an accident. It turned out my ball was barely held on by the nut (it hadn't been looked at in years). He changed it out and torqued the new one on. I know, part of his job... but something he could have easily overlooked.
