When returning vehicle they needed more employees, the line was out of the door and we waited more than 40 minutes before deciding to check out online.

This is my third time returning a trailer here, and each time it has been short staffed and so I will not be using this location in the future. You do have a choice of drop off/pick up spots in Eugene, OR - so do yourself a favor and select another site. I've had much better service at the Franklin Blvd location. After a long day of moving stuff around, waiting over 30 minutes to return your equipment can seem like forever.

Have more than two employees work on busy weekends - employees said to those waiting that 60 minute waits and long lines were normal on the weekends. Have signs that say you can skip to the front of the line if you used the Uhaul app to check in - told by a Uhaul employee that this was the practice. Every 10 minutes, have employees ask the line of people waiting if they are checking in through the app and just need to grab a key. It'll keep the lines down and stop some business loss and angry/annoyed customers.

Trailor was broke. Ramps came down on Beltline 3 times putting me in great danger. I had to pull over and put them back in. One came out while vehicle was hooked up causing damage to my car. I am contacting my attorney.

I rented a truck almost two years ago from the 7th ave location. The long hair hippieish clerk was knowledgeable and made the experience memorable. It was quick and painless process. I did not get any hidden fees and am about to rent another truck. I hope they have improved their a parking system or set up a closer crosswalk tho as that us my only complaint.

If you need to park your car, there’s no parking. But the worst part was your app failed at the “live verify” part. The app should allow you to upload a photo. However, the people you have working there are absolutely awesome!!

It appeared they were under staffed. The return line was queuing into the public road/highway and it was taking an excessively long amount of time to return the van. We ultimately returned it through the app. But vehicles backing up into the road is concerning. I will say it was UO’s graduation weekend

Driveway for loading and off loading was always full making parking in the lot dangerous. Staff was either complacently dumb or customer service numb. Oh well, where ya gonna go?

You have poor parking. When I went in the day before to reserve the vehicle, there were returns all over the place and I had to back out on to a busy street and go in the "out" to get a place to park. You need more room to park there. I did not leave my vehicle there when I took the U-haul out. Just an FYI.

When I returned the 10' truck, the place was total chaos. Trucks were parked every which way, completely blocked the entrance and people in trucks sitting in line beyond the entrance. There were just two people in the office trying to do everything and not succeeding and apparently no one else. I was charged $220 for a small indented spot in the back of the truck upper right corner (above the red line). I did not cause this damage. I couldn't see that there was an indent when I looked over the truck at the initial rental. They didn't catch it following the previous rental. I can get affidavits from the people who helped loading and unloading my moving boxes. I and my partner, Jerry, were with the truck at all times right up until we pulled into a spot on the street in front of the Uhaul and waited in line inside. To make even a small dent into the steel section of the truck would have taken some impact. There was no instance of this happening. It was a simple freeway trip to pick up a load of boxes in a normal street with sidewalks neighborhood. No drive-thrus, no low hanging trees or anything else that could have caused the damage.

Everything went smooth with my trailer rental. The guy who helped me hitch up the trailer & readjust the hitch was terrific. The guy who I brought the trailer back to was extremely friendly and made the drop off smooth as can be ..... great job!

To improve experience for the next victim to fall prey to this particular branch's unbelievably non existant customer service concerns, starting point would be with not lying to the customer regarding what was quoted, not misrepresenting the offer of what was quoted, not referring endlessly to the contract without thoroughly explaining the contract to the customer initially, not using bait and switch techniques, and as management present when disputed claim is presented in person at time of rental payment, do your job in sincerely attempt to resolve/compromise dispute immediately. Being blindsided with an unexpected, not quoted $160 increase is no small matter. There are always to sides to a story, and the customer voice matters greatly. Companies are nothing without their customers. One very dissatisfied customer tells 10 other prospective customers. And, while UHaul is a large corporation, it is not so big to avoid legitimate customer complaints to our state Dept of Justice, Consumer Division, and the Better Business Bureau, for starters. Future use of UHaul company is gone forever.
