MARIA M.I was given a cargo Van from out of town. The person left his urinal bottle inside of the truck and the truck had a awful smell. I rent from U-Haul and their vehicles are always clean.

STEPHEN J.The first van i was given had a cut seat belt as in the buckle was completely sliced off. Rather than the person inspecting it completely prior to assigning it, I was assigned something that was by far not road legal. I was then given a 10ft box truck instead of a van.

Alton F.Hello the truck and car transport I rented was terrible , the truck was filthy , dirt marks all over in the dash ! Spill sticky drinks and you couldn't see out the windows . The worst thing was the trailer lights were not connected to the truck , I could of gotten into an accident very unprofessional and not well trained . If I do ever rent want to rent from there or Uhaul just doesn't care .

ERIC M.1. Have equipment available at the location and time the reservation indicates. 2. Train your staff that telling customers "you're just going to have to wait for one to come in", and "this happens all the time" neither help to calm or reassure customers for whom the reservation is not being honored, and are paying movers hourly.

TANYA S.Pick-up: After waiting 10 minutes waiting at the desk for a clerk, paperwork was easy. Then clerk just said, "Here's your key. Your truck is parked somewhere outside." The van: Big blob of dried bird poop on the windshield. Muddy footprints on the mat. The window crank came off in my hand. Drop-off: Building had a big sign "Equipment Return Here. Wait with equipment and an attendant will be out to assist you". After 15 minutes of waiting and honking the horn, I went inside to find the same clerk playing games on his phone in an empty office. "Why didn't you help me out there?" "Didn't know you were there. I was helping another customer." "Why does that big sign say 'Wait with equipment'? [shrug] "I don't know." This office is close to my home but from now on I'll be using Budget or Home Depot or Lowe's for my truck rentals.

ALI S.The first vehicle I rented (11/7, 15') had several scratches that had not been documented, so I was worried I might be charged for them when I returned it. The second vehicle I rented (11/9, 10') had some damage to the left front headlight, the side mirror on the passenger side was difficult to adjust, the radio faded in and out, and the cabin smelled like stale beer. Both trucks performed well and served our needs, despite these minor issues. Also, all customer service agents were friendly and helpful.

The person who had rented the truck that I was supposed to use was late in returning it, and so Ms. Roldan made other arrangements so I could rent a different truck and not experience delays with my move. This was very thoughtful and so so so helpful.
LEAH L.Had issues with starting my rental with the app and had to go inside (the counterperson was very nice and helpful). Also the lock on the box of keys was a little rusted and very difficult to open/close.
Nina Y.We reserved an appliance dolly a week beforehand, along with our moving van. We were informed the day of pickup that they had no dollies whatsoever available to rent that day. This really made moving our couch impossible; please don't allow online reservation/rental of dollies if they're not guaranteed!

Ryan O.Both check in and checkout were uneventful. Sometimes the UHaul computers have been slow with reservations in the past, but this time they worked well, even connecting to records in another city. Nice … People at the counter were really nice, too.

EDVIN P.Insure that the vehicles are in good repair; ignition key was tempermental, the know for the driver side window kept coming off and it smelled of cigarettes. Also, the return process was very frustrating. I tried to use the app, but it would not accept my dash pictures. We tried 6 or 7 times with 2 phones. We ended up using the web site, but it still took more than one try. It was a long day of moving and all we wanted to do was drop off the truck, but it took almost 30 minutes to complete the process.
