I reserved my truck over 2 weeks before pick up. No one ever called me to confirm and no one ever answered the phone. Luckily after much back and forth I was given a truck (not the size I asked for). The truck was dirty and extremely damaged on the outside. None of the damages had been recorded, so I had to go back inside to request that it was. The staff was kind of friendly and didn't complain when I asked for help. But if someone would have called me or answers the phones- this all could have been avoided.Cassie H.

People at Uhaul center went out of their way to have my van ready for me. We traveled over 400 miles in the van. It was clean inside but oil change notification stayed on the entire trip, the transmission wined- like needed fluid, and front tires felt like they needed alignment.Linda B.

This was not my original reservation site. I showed up at 2701 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, GA 31520 and there was no one there. Apparently the owner suffered some type of medical issue the day before but never set up any replacement agents to handle reservations for Sunday May 1st. Numerous people showed up and were turned away by cleaning staff. Luckily was able to rent a vehicle at another location. Staff on Altama was very helpful and luckily I was able to get a truck.Michael N.

This location was not reachable by phone. Calls went directly to Uhaul and interminable hold for a representative. Basically, your phone system sucks! The location itself gave me a personal number where they could be reached until this was resolved. Additionally, there were no 5' X8' trailers available in the area.PAT S.

The place in Hendersonville is terrible. My receipt said it opens at 11:00am. I went at 11;00 and a sign on the door said 12:00-5:00. I went back and 12:00. Waited and waited. Then tried to go to another uhaul to drop off trailer. The other two places nearby were not open. I started calling the list in google nearby until I found one that answered phone. She said I would be charged an I convenienced fee if I took it somewhere else. After calling the original place agin, after many attempts, someone finally answered. It was close to 1:00pm and he said he overslept!! His phone answering was full when I called before. Store smelled like cigarette smoke to high heavens. He told he to unhook trailer and leave it. I am 61 year old woman who had no idea how to do that. Minor can I as I have a rotator cuff issue. Anyway, he reluctantly came out to unhook for me. Place in Brunswick was sweet and wonderful. Would recommend them but NOT the drop off site.Martha D.

This was our first time renting a uhaul truck. The truck was the perfect size for what we needed it for. It was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The tenant was very helpful and thorough with us. We could not have asked for a better first time experience. Thank you!!!Diane P.

The computer system is slow and because of that a line formed quickly. They couldn't print out anything so I had to look at my email for the agreement with the mileage and how much gas is in it. Once they were done, all they said was, "here you go, grab the dolly on the way out!" They didn't walk with me to the U-Haul to show me any dents, gas, mileage, or help me find the truck. I have never been to a place that doesn't walk with you outside to show you the truck. I took a picture of the mileage and gas then looked on the rental agreement and the gas was off! We only had a half tank (proof is on my camera phone with mileage and pic of gas) and they said we almost had a full tank. There will be a problem if they try to charge me for gas they didn't give me! On a side note, the staff that was there was nice. They were friendly but they just need to adjust a few things that I listed to up to par to other U-Haul places.Kristina R.

I dropped the trailer off after hours a day early and was charged an extra $20 for a let return. I thought I had completed the online return via the app, but not sure. It's especially frustrating because I saw the trailer sitting at the location at 1200 the next day. If I had known I was going to be charged the fee I would have just stopped and checked it in before the time it was due. These little annoying fees really make me not want to use u-haul again. The self service location was not worth the effort it took to get access to the key. The prosses added 30min to the check in time. While I understand the need for "convenience" there should also be an effort for good customer service. Moving is stressful enough without adding the stress, of getting the truck on moving day when you made every effort to plan ahead.Lori W.
