When the employee fails to provide the service fully in English that is a big fail. Please train your staff to be more open to the others even though we are in Quebec, that doesn't mean everyone is francophone, this is Canada and you must be able to provide your services fully in English.Antoine D.

I wasn't explained the fees associated to not brining back the truck with the same amount of gas. There was missing a little bit of gas , I attempted to return the truck Without fueling , that's my fault however if the fees were explained I wouldn't have tried my luckâ€¦ the extra charges were $50 when the truck barely needed $5 of gasâ€¦. I decide to go fuel instead of paying $50â€¦ I got what I deserved HOWEVER if it was explained to me I wasn't going to try my luck â€¦. Cheersantonio P.

I did a reservation 2 month before for a 20ft truck, I specified that I want to leave the truck In Sherbrooke, I am from Blainville. The Friday before the day of the reservation I received a call to confirm my Saturday 8:00AM reservation. On Saturday 8:00 at the store in Laval they said that the truck is not available and I will have to come back at 14:00. At 14:00 I go again at the store and this time they said to me that they don't have a truck because they have a problem with it. After talking with with the salesmen, he talk with his manager and they said that I can have a truck but I will have to bring it back to the store in Laval. The storage itself is very well maintained and very easy to access with a truck. However the service is very poor. We reserved a storage to have the free month but when we called to change the date, the agent over the phone told us the reservation was never done. We went back to speak to the same agent, he was able to give us the free month storage. We paid for the lock and we walked all th way to the back to see the locker and put the lock. It was raining a lot that day. When we got to the locker, we realized that the locker was locked so we had to walk all the way back in the rain to let the agent know. It was almost 7pm (closing time). If we wouldn’t have checked before closing time, we would’ve not been able to ask him to open the lock to access our locker. If the employee knew that he had to remove a lock before we could access the locker, why didn’t he advise us? He saw us going outside, he knew we wanted to go see it, so why didn’t he tell us that he needed to open the lock first? Very disappointed.Gregory G. | First Impressions

First, the web site told me one location, than the location was change. Unfortunally, I didn't receive the info, so I went to the first location, and was politly forward to the second location. When I arrive at that second location, there was a computer problem and 20 persons were before me in the line. 1 hour later, I finally got out. I might have been very bad luck from my side, but it clearly wasn't a fluid and fast experience. The worst costumer service anyone can ever expect! I waited 30+ in the morning to get the rental that was already reserved, knowingly that there was no costumers before me! The so called manager of the location was the one to serve me, he was unorganaized and seemed not sure of what he is doing, and got me to stand wait for him for no obvious reason, in 30 min he only had to say 'it won't be long'! The return of the vehicule was even worst! 50 min of waiting, 2 employees and 3 costumers before me, a big confusion, the store phone keeps on ringing and no answer, they pick up and tell the costumers to wait and put them on hold undefinitly! As for us waiting in line costumers the wait was so long that the decision was made to never do business with uhaul anymore! They lack courtesy, they lack training and it was obvious neither of the employees knew how to handle costumers or what they were doing. The cargo van was in good condition and clean, the service received was the worst!!! It is a shame. I would rather give my business to other companies even if they charge more.Charbel C.

When placing my reservation, I was told to arrive 15 minutes prior to my reserved pick up time. My reservation was for 10:00am on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Upon arrival, I had to endure a 55 minute wait to get my vehicle. As I was helping a friend move, and we had scheduled pick up's all over Montreal, all of these scheduled pick ups now had to be pushed back an hour! It was very upsetting! As a Moving Company Providor, one would expect that a customer could have been somehow forewarned that Saturday mornings are excessively busy and I should arrive well ahead of my reservation time to ensure a prompt pick up of my vehicle. J'aurais une suggestion a vous faire au sujet des alarmes qui se font entendre quelque fois. Les clients ne se servent pas de leur carte d'accès de la bonne façon. Ils ne signifient pas leur présence, alors quand ils ouvrent leur unité, l'alarme se déclenche. Vous devriez leur expliquer un peu mieux le fonctionnement de la carte. Overall very good experience. It is very practical to be able to park inside!! Clean, spacious, new. Many trucks and trailers available for rent at same location. Recycling/exchanging area is a great, original idea!! Improvements needed: More chariots would be appreciated; most families need more than one when moving in, so when we arrived, no charriots were available for about 20 minutes. There is only one lift, so there was a small line-up: not too bad though, because the lift is quite large. Entering and exiting process is somewhat confusing - there is a risk of making the alarm go off or getting locked out if not operated properly: this needs to be improved (too much risk of false alarms and other errors). When I received the first invoices there was the GST and PST on the invoice later on i received the same invoices less the GST and PST when I called in To advise that I needed an invoice with both taxes on the invoice Miss Mine told me I had to go on the site to register. When I signed up for the storage I signed all the papers including the withdrawal from my bank account. I asked Mrs. Mine politely just to send me the invoices with the GST and PST which waas never done. When I came to cancel the storage yesterday the 29 of June 2020 I asked the person at the deest for all the invoices with GST and PST and he did it very politely for me. My accountant was after me to get these proper invoices. Why was it so difficult for Mrs Mine to do this for me? Some employees just don't care to serve the client properly.
