I had to wait 45 minutes to get served. There were only 3 people ahead of me. Also when I finally got served, I had issues getting the payment machine to work. The employee told me it had been like that for weeks. The only positive note is the employee who helped me attach the trailer to my car. He was very helpful.

The dollies that I booked were not available, and the one that I requested and paid for was not in the truck. I called back and I was informed that I should communicate it on the delivery, also the wrong operation time was informed at the pickup for the truck drop off.

paiement de la reservation ref:8306-4890. Je suis venu paier en personne le vendredi suivant. j' ai essaye votre application mais cela ne fonctionnait pas: je n'arrivait pas a passer la premiere page (le bouton continuer ne s'activait pas) vous aviez deja charge une deuxieme journee,et mal enregistre le meter de gaz (j'ai rempli presque a moitie).pourtant je me suis presente a 19h04 ils auraient pus m'accueillir puisque la porte etait ouverte ! Heureusement le service a la caisse ont corrige l'erreur. donc augmenter la qualite des employe dans la cour, car ils ne sont pas responsable Merci

The storage unit had holes in the roof and leaked water over all of my belongings for 18 months. When I opened the door everything was covered in black mold. Most of my furniture was priceless antiques, well over 150 years old. I was crushed, I had to get rid of my clothes, linens, furniture, anything that wasn't ceramic or stainless was destroyed completely. Dont ever store your precious belongings at a U-Haul.

Services non profesaionnel. L'employé travaillait à rendre sa voiture personnelle propre au lieu de servir ses clients. Camion loué aucunement lavé à l'intérieur de la boîte. Des vieux draps usagé traînaient et le balais ni la moppe n'ont été passés. J'ai nettoyé le camion moi-même, mis de l'essence et selon l'évaluateur, je n'avais pas mis assez d'essence et on m'a chargé un extra. Donc votre philosophie est de faire travailler vos clients (laver vos camion) et de ne pas les récompenser et ni s'excuser en leur faisant payer du gaz.

My belongings in storage were completely destroyed by mold, black and yellow, the boxes were wet and damp, furniture was warped and moldy. I had to throw out a couch, double bed, signed painting, antique mirrors completely destroyed, they fell apart. Now after I was told the acount had been closed you tell me I owe you money. No I think it's the other way around. You owe me time and labour 5 hours for my movers to sit and watch me take pictures. It prevented me from packing my apartment and missing my appointment at 2 pm in Ottawa. I had to leave my previous apartment a disaster because it was now 5 pm, and I was trying to get out of Quebec. But I had no signed lease in Ottawa and no keys to my new apartment. This never would have happened if there had not been a giant hole in the roof of your storage facility. Maybe you should not be using old trucks for storage rooms. I am almost hospitalized for this lack of care for other peoples belongings. Rs

The prices are highe, poor customer service sometimes, for filling the gas the closest available gas station is 10 km far so again you have to pay the gas on top of the charged price, at the reservation for taking a trailer for instance; there is no criteria mentioned for the vehicule is to use for that... poor communication

Special Thanks to Sharmine from the Toronto office. She was experienced and gotten out of her way to help me when I explained to her in desperation of needing an auto transport instead of Tow Dolly. Uhaul needs more ppl like her. She cares about the client's needs and she gets out of her way to make the customer happy.

return process outside of work hours, having to go to a website, taking a bunch of pictures from everywhere around the truck, the process was painstaking and then I had to find a spot where to park it in a tight space... I'm glad I could return it outside of office hours, but still, I'll make arrangements to return it when there are people in the next time.

Ils m'a coûter $15 de gaz pour faire 19 kilomètres, le commis a mentionner que c'était à moi à prendre une photo du gage à gaz, je vous pose la même question qu'aux commis, se peut t'ils que l'information inscrit de remettre le même niveau d'essence qu'aux départ était erroné, $15 de gaz pour $19 kilomètres je trouve que vous êtes de mauvaise foie. N'oubliez pas de soustraire 3 kilomètres car ont m'a oubilger d'aller remettre du gaz sinon ils me chargeait $65, quel genre de compagnie êtes vous!

Very disorganized process. What's the deal with the self-serve check-in process if I have to wait in line anyways? First off the QR reader in front didn't work. My truck was stuck between many other trucks so they had to be moved. It felt like overall chaos at this location.

First of all, i live in St-Hubert,Qc. The location contract was in French but my invoice was in English, so is this survey even if i click on the French link. I don't have problems with English, i am bilingual but i can see a problem with people that don't speak English. The truck was o.k. but there was cigarette/cigar smell in the cabin. When i returned the truck i waited at least 20 min at the return area. Someone came and told me there would be someone with me soon but i had to go inside to get someone. That guy looked like he didn't want to work, it looked like i was bothering him. Maybe it was a bad day, who knows. I rented trucks at a few occasions but this was the worst overall experience. Thank you,

Totally desorganised during the pick up in the morning. Not enough staff. Lack of parking space for customers, interfering with the u-haul trucks and trailers. This was my third and last time at that location.

Quand je suis arrivé à 8h pour récupérer le véhicule, il n'était pas prêt. Nous avons dû le chercher parmis 20 autres véhicules entassés. Au moment de mettre la clé dans le véhicule pour le démarrer, le véhicule ne fonctionnait pas. Le monsieur qui nous a servit n'était pas de bonne humeur et n'a pas arrêté de sacrer. Nous avions loué des équipements qui n'étaient pas prêt lors de notre arrivée. Les équipements étaient bel et bien sur le recu mais la madame à la caisse de nous croyait pas. Lorsque je lui ait montré le recu que nous avons reçu par courriel directement après le paiement, elle n'a pas voulu le regarder et nous a dit que le paiement n'avait même pas encore été fait alors qu'elle nous avait fait payer 3 minutes plus tôt. Elle dit qu'il y avait un bug dans le système donc elle a dû tout recommencer les démarches pour trouver notre commande. Finalement elle a vu qu'on avait raison et elle ne s'est même pas excuser. Nous avions réservé un camion 3 semaines avant, et rien était prêt le jour même. Tout les enregistrements étaient préalablement remplis en ligne afin de sauver le temps et de limiter les contacts covid et pourtant nous avions attendus 1h avant de pouvoir quitter l'établissement. Ce qui nous a engendré énormément de retard pour notre déménagement. Nous sommes partie de là-bas à 9:05 alors que nous sommes arrivés à 7:55 le matin. Pour ce qui en ait des mesures Covid, il n'y avait aucune bouteille désinfectante à l'entrée, j'ai du demander celle pour les employés en arrière de la caisse. Sur 3 employés, seulement 1 portait le masque adéquatement. Je pense sérieusement à faire une plainte pour les mesures sanitaires afin qu'il y ait une inspection. En attendant votre retour, je ne recommanderais plus Uhaul, c'était ma première fois. Normalement je vais avec Discount et j'ai toujours eu une service rapide et de qualité. J'ai réservé au nom de Johane Grenon et soudainement quand j'imprime mon reçu je vois qu'on a changé le nom pour Michel Sénécal. Il était le chauffeur mais bien que je contacte le bureau chef, on refuse de remettre la facture à mon nom et j'en ai besoin pour la succession de mon père ( impôt) Mauvais service et très étroit d'esprit votre compagnie

It is the third time i am a client of UHaul. However I have to infirm you this tine that the sanitary situation and precautions taken by the staff was not satisfactory . The personnel 3 behind the counter were couphing not wearing their mask proper'y sharing screen and interac machine.

J'ai coché oui pour la recommandation à un ami car mes affaires étaient en sécurité mais je lui dirai quand même les points faibles de ce U-haul et il fera son choix car j'ai dû appeler tellement de fois et envoyer un courriel de ma boite de messagerie u-haul mais je n'ai pas eu de reponses. J'ai dû insister au niveau de la centeale pour avoir une reponse.

Toutes mes choses étaient couvertes d'urine et de crottes de souris. Quand j'ai ouverts mes boîtes, il y avaient des crottes de souris en dedans. Les souris ont mangé mes meubles, chier partout dans les boîtes. Le pire c'est que lorsque j'ai trié mes choses en jetant 1/3 de mes possessions chéris dans la poubelle, et j'ai déménagé ce que j'ai gardé dans mon appartement, il y avait des souris vivant dans mes boîtes!! Donc je suis enragée et traumatisée par rapport à cela et je ne recommenderais JAMAIS cette service. ====================================================== All my things are covered in rat droppings. The rats ate through my furniture and boxes, leaving poop all through my things. I sorted through my stuff to throw out 1/3 the ruined things and most damaged stuff. When I moved my stuff out of the storage into my apartment, their were live rats inside a box!!! Do NOT rent storage in this disgusting facility.

Pire expérience ... Toutes mes boîtes ont été rongées par des souris (ou un autre rongeurs que je ne connaîs pas !?! ) , toutes mes boîtes ont des excrément de ces bestioles. Mon divan blanc en plume d'oie doit être jeter. On ne parle pas du service INTERMINABLE, attendre plus d'une heure en ligne pour du service... Et de plus, j'ai vidé mon local deux jours après le début du mois à payer et u-haul ne rembourse pas au les journées non-utilisées, entre vous et moi, c'est du vol ! Vous devriez faire quelque chose pour améliorer la situation car juste en ligne d'attente TOUS les gens étaient dépassés par le service médiocre. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais u-haul. < Marie-Ève
