MAKALYNN YBy far the best location I’ve ever been too. Easy trailer return area. U haul was smart to purchase this property that once was a Kmart (if I recall correctly). Employees are nice, but seem a little distant when you first talk to them, but they do loosen up. Still would recommend this location even if it’s a few extra miles out of the way.

TAHA KI MUST commend, express and celebrate the kind and generous service I received from the employees at the U-Haul location on 10 Mile & Dequindre in Warren, MI-specifically, 2000 E 10 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48091. I picked up my U-Haul truck on Friday, December 13, 2024. I was in an emergency situation and had to move out of my apartment quickly. At the time, I didn't have a place to live, so I had to extend my U-Haul rental truck reservation a couple of times. When I contacted U-Haul the third time on December 27, 2024 to extend my truck rental, a very sweet and kind employee named "Esra" asked me when I was returning the rental truck. I told her I would be returning the U-Haul truck on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She merely replied, "Okay." When I asked her for the extension total, she replied "0;" that I didn't have to pay an additional extension fee. I was speechless and shocked, but very appreciative because my funds/finances were dwindling as a result of the many expenses I had to pay during the time I was looking for a place to live. I thanked Esra for blessing me, and she was very gracious. She had no idea how much her kind and charitable act meant to me and what it did for me. Some people may think such kindness is not such a big deal because it was just a rental truck, however, the timing of what she did for me was EVERYTHING. In this day and time, we don't get to experience and witness many heartfelt and generous acts such as this, so when they occur, we MUST highlight, remark upon and celebrate them. THANK YOU.

EARL LWas charged for a 3-day rental Because I did not think I could get it loaded and returned within that 2- day rental period. I am 70 years old and was not sure I could meet the timeline! I got it there within the 2-day timeline, but got it there 1 hour late and they would not help out on the extra day rental fee !! The policies caused me to have to go back and forth and take off of work to get the situation handled. A lot of the visits I was waiting for nothing because nothing could be done. I ended up paying for 2 additional months of storage than I needed. Finally things started to progress. However I got a lot for fees. I stressed heavily over this. I didn’t have access for 3 months to things that I really needed or wanted. That money felt waisted. In the very end I ended speaking with an employee who was more that helpful. She called all parties needed and brought things to a swift and smooth end and I didn’t have to pay for the 3rd month of the drama or the month I was heading into. Simply a close out fee. Once there to close my account. Systems were of course down and I waited around for an hour so I end up settling this whole thing for Zero dollars. Which I’m grateful for. During my move out however I did get locked out of the building with my things still in the garage. The after hours help did not answer but customer service pulled through. I am so relieved not to have to use them again. It was traumatic for me in the end but before hand it was ideal. All of the employees we kind. Even if they couldn’t be helpful, they were still respectful I almost wanted to apply to work there in that atmosphere.
