The vehicle was not warmed up the vehicle was not cleared of snow had shovel out the front of vehicle because there was a big snow bank in the way in -30 weather. When I took the clerk that there was snow drift in the way, I was told I can shovel it. When is it the customers responsibility? It took over 30 minutes to get the vehicle out of your lot if I didn't need the vehicle on the day of rental because time lines to move furniture out of my recently deceased uncles apartment I would of canceled the pick up right then and there. I not sure if you guys are actually going to read this, however you want to do the right thing, provide me a refundStacey C.
Make sure the vehicle is filled so you don't need to get gas before anything else. I preper to have it on full and return it full then need to gas up twicedebie T.
Customer service was good, the trailer was in really poor shape. One of the rims of the tires was almost rusted right through. Did not notice at the time of pick up but did when we got a flat tire about 1/2 through the trip.Scott F.

I booked online, at 51ave location, the website changed my reservation from 930am at 51ave location to 2pm and 17st location and did not even notify me with an email. The people at the location were very helpful but it was very inconvenient to have to go to a different locationConnor K.
Didn't have the equipment I reserved (appliance trolley). This is extremely frustrating when you have timelines, this should be told to us prior. Also the trailer was very difficult to unhook because there was no jack available after hours.Leanne B.

Please have WINTER TIRES on your vehicles when using them around this area!!! The specifications told me it would be a 4 wheel drive van. No, it wasn't. The tires were summer or "all seasons". I was shimming all over the icy roads. Very slight inclines and the rear tires were spinning. It was extremely scary and dangerous driving your van. Never again!James B.

Every thing was fine except the invoice. I was held up at the Canada/us border, new snow had to shoveled. Was 1 hour late in returning and phoned to give notice. Charged an extra day. Reason given was that the unit was booked for the time I was supposed to be there. I was told when I picked up unit that there is a 2 hour allowance if I was late. Was not told of the exception to this rule if the unit is rented out at the time that I was to return it. I did not ask about the return policy at pick up. This was told to me without my asking. Was shocked to find this out on return. If I knew, I would have unloaded the unit in the middle of the night rather than wait until morning. As it was, I had to shovel snow first and this resulted in 1 hour delay. Did not appreciate the extra charge by the agent.Bill M.

I rented a utility trailer. It was full of snow and ice. Not unexpected, as they are stored outside, but after shoveling the snow out, it took me another hour to chip out the ice sufficiently to walk in the trailer. While parked, I suggest the trailers be angled for water run-off, rather than pooling.Daniel L.

Firstly I was given a vehicle with another vehicle parked in front so had to go back inside to request him to move it which he did I then spent 10min scraping the ice of the windshield while the vehicle was warming up got inside and a warning light was on saying the tire needed air! Went back in the office and told him then he asked me which tire is flat I'm like are you kidding me how the heck do I know! So then I get another vehicle which I had to then scrape off the ice again while warming up the vehicle! Now I drive off go to my apartment bring down the box spring and mattress we open the back of the uhaul and it is full of stuffâ€¦.by this time I burst into tears my fingers where frozen and now I have to call in and share what happened I was so frustrated! The rep on the phone was great and said she would get that location to call me he did and proceeded to say he's sorry bring back the vehicle and said he doesn't know how that is even possible to which I replied well I'm not lying he then said I believe you I'm not saying I don't believe you then he asked what's in the back I'm like how the heck do I know by this time a whole 2hrs had gone by and I had someone helping me who I had to pay! This was the worst experience I've ever had and I would even thoughI got it for free no charge it's was inconvenient cold stressful and something that's should of been quick stress free n simple was the total opposite! Some one broke in to unit 15 days from when I rented unit . Plus 3 other units and staff did not know anything about it tell I called them . You need to do things differently. I had ordered blankets and a dolly about a month prior to the rental date, I believe the app said that these items would be in the van. I didn't check the back of the van before leaving the U haul site, and when I arrived at my move site, these items were not there, so I had to drive another vehicle back and request them. The young man at the counter was very good to deal with, and I could tell he was doing his best, it seemed quite busy. He said they were out of dolly's but did offer the blankets, and he said he would be sure to reverse the charge for me, which was more than sufficient.Cole G.

They had the wrong trailer ready for us (uncovered flatbed), then gave us a much smaller one than we ordered but I haven't seen a refund for the difference in price yet. They were so under staffed there was a long line up and one guy trying to help everyone inside and out so we just left.Mark S.

No walk through with the vehicle was done. VERY lazy staff. Didn't seem like they wanted us to be there. NEVER coming back to this location . NOT recommending this location. Was charged twice for a rental when we had 24hours to bring it back. We took 6 hours and were charged for 2 rentals simply because we forgot to go to the link in the text that was sent. Sorry I forgot to do this, never had to do this before and I don't know why it is such a big deal now. We had death in the family and were in a big hurry to move their belongings. Such a sad experience. Please try harder for the next customer. Thank you.mike H.

The online process stated that my lock would be ready in the storage locker. This was untrue. As we waited for the employee to come open up our unit we started to unload the trailer. After 30 minutes of waiting and having most of the trailer unpacked we than were told we had to be moved. Not happy. Also, the poor employee was alone on a Saturday.
