Customer service agent who checked should be updated on customer service skills wasn't friendly neither did she show me the vehicle just walked outside and gave me the keys also she didn't wear a mask at no time during my experience which should be mandated. This location was great. The girl attending there Sunday 11/8/2020 around 3pm was excellent. But that wasn't the location I had previously made the reservation. I had made a reservation at 10901 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77092, but when I got there, the lady would not attend me because I had a car tow. Very disappointed after driving 4 hours. After the Third try, the storage located at U-Haul Moving & Storage at 290 & Fairbanks helped me out. The girl was great at this location.Jerry M.

Jeffrey was an amazing manager. Very personable person. I been to a different uhaul place and the associate that helped me before was very bland, and when he was helping us, it felt like we were bothering him trying to rent a uhaul. So when I went to this uhaul I was expecting the same thing and I got something different which was the best experience ever at a uhaul location. Truck was dirty and gas tank was said to have been full when it wasn't upon leaving. Upon return, I pulled up to the parking spots and a boy was outside laughing and shaking his head as I was parking in a spot. When I rolled down the window to see what his problem was, he was shaking his head saying "pull underneath the tent man!" How the hell are consumers supposed to know where to pull a vehicle when returning??? There's a small sign underneath the tent but nothing on the outside indicating that's where customers need to pull up. This could have easily been remedied with "would you mind pulling underneath the tent and I'll get you checked in??" How hard could that be? Instead, he wants to be a smart ass in front of the young lady associate that was there as well. Piss poor customer service.KERMIT H.

The bad thing about.my experience is the equipment itself. I rented a 6Ã—12 trailer, but the opening to the trailer is only 53". It was hard to get my utv on the trailer when the opening is small. Make the ramp and trailer entrance wider.JARVIS L.

Getting the right pods delivered to our new place was a nightmare. When we signed up for the boxes, we didn't know exactly what our new address would be, which Uhaul said was fine because we could update it later. But then, they almost mistook our boxes for empty ones and only fixed it because I practically forced them to go back and check again. And then when we got our new address and wanted to schedule delivery, I had to call like 15 different locations to find our boxes (they had apparently been lost and the people who were supposed to, and actually did, have them had no record of them at all). And once I had found our boxes, there wasn't an easy "click here to update the delivery address and location" button on my reservation. I had to make a whole new reservation which the people swore was just their way of making sure I would get my boxes. And that worked out okay, except then they tried to charge me another month of storage fees for the boxes that had already been delivered and emptied. When I called to get a refund, I was bounced around and told they'd figure it out, but then they never called me back. This whole process was needlessly complicated for a simple "relocate boxes from A to B and then deliver at C on X date" scenario. Would not recommend. At least the people were nice when I talked to them on the phone, by and large, but it was such a hassle to get them to do anything helpful.Benjamin F.

It was a young lady that got an attitude with me because I did not know the procedures of setting up an account. I did not know that you needed three contact phone numbers. Had I been told that beforehand the process would not have been as complicated. Then when I opened up the storage unit there were pest traps all over the floor. I went downstairs to ask the about them and they told me to just leave them in there. Which made no sense to me because the floor was almost completely covered with the sticky traps. From Day 1 I had issues getting in/out my storage! The lock was damaged and I had to have assistance from a member in the office every visit. We had to beat the lock open/closed to secure it! I made several complaints, nothing was done but I was billed every month on time for a broken storage.
