Rental truck wasn't with the rest of trucks, had to go find the truck. Found the truck, truck didn't start. Store Rep advised I needed a different style key. Brought a new key out, truck started. After losing truck 3 hours later, the truck didn't start. I lost 2 days in moving my home due to inadequate UHAUL truck/equipment. I don't even want to get into how long it took for roadside service to arrive to me.mardy J.

Well to start with you can keep the order together. Why you would split the order it is not known. you seem to find charging my credit card very easy and frequently. Very disappointing overall. the ladies picking and delivering my containers were great and excellent. But everyone else has been rude, not helpful and giving my the run around. In fact i hold so long each day that i have to plug my phone in to keep the charge. I would not recommend uhaul ever to anyone!!!!Alba H.

Both the HWY 6 and 290 locations were awesome! However, my pick up location was changed from HWY 6 4 miles from my home to 290 approx 15 mikes away. Most disappointing was the UHAUL Coor Customer Service Manager who called me!!!! Her message was basically take or leaves early. Go way out of my way or cancel. The person that rented me the truck gave me a very old beat up truck, not gas efficient and also did not helped me in connecting the tow dolly to the uhaul truck, instead I had to take a friend to do it for me while the manager and staff just look over to see if my friend was making the connection right, the manager Jeffrey said he and his staff could not help, only instruct my friend how to do it, I rented the same service from Homestead, Florida Uhaul and they did it for me upon picking up the truck, the Houston Texas Uhaul in Fairbanks was not a pleasant experience and no I will never recommend that location to anybody, because it was unfair that truck was dirty, smelly like someone had been smoking inside of it before and was old and beat not gas efficient, make weird sounds and brakes were super squeaky. Not a pleasant experience at all, I will never again use or recommend this company for moving needs or storage needs. Not a please customer.Diana O.

I know adding cruise control costs you a lot more but please have it added to a few trucks and give them to long distance rentals. My reservation clearly included 8 days over 1300 miles but I was given a non cruise control 15ft truck. And this rental had horrible tire rotation, bad windshield cleaner fluid and wiper blades. All of these made my uhaul experience a nightmare. It took a toll on my body due to driving stress. Truck kept swirling left and right non stop. Staff at pickup/return location weren't rude but they weren't nice either. And they didn't seem to well trained. They clearly didn't care about my experience.BAO THAI N.

Initially got sent there by the location off bunker hill. I asked if they could help me rent a storage unit.. the info I got was â€œ you have to do it when you get to Richardsonâ€. Not accurate at all. Next, I was told by the northwest highway location that my truck came with blankets.. it did not so I had to make another trip to bunker hill ( closest location) to get blankets when we opened the uhaul to begin the move.MICHAEL T.
Upon opening my container at the final destination, I found the contents were wet. The cover of the box had been properly secured, but large gaps between the walls of the box and the sides must have allowed road spray to enter the container. All of the items that got wet were waterproof, but we really lucked out. Additionally, the flooring of one side of the box was nearly separated from the wall - I was scared it could have come separated and dumped out all of its contents. UHaul needs to do better quality control on the boxes.David N.

I ordered 2 dollys and asked were they already in the truck and they told me yes, I looked in the truck when I made it to my destination and neither of them were in there. I also was charged for gas when I was told I would only have to put gas in there if I went past 75 miles which I didn't. I had to call to find out when the uboxes would be delivered only to find out that they weren't going to be delivered when scheduled due to â€œequipmentâ€ being down. That was a lie it was because they didn't have a delivery truck/driver. It took from 7/2/21 to 7/27/21 to get to me. It only had to travel 1400 miles! They didn't even leave the houston area until 12 days after pick up. That's crazy. I'll never use or recommend UHaul uboxes to anyone and I will tell everyone that will listen about my horrible experience!Kyleanne Z.

Pod did not arrive when promised POD WAS LOST FOR 4 WEEKS, multiple excuses given, multiple times we were told he was looking for it, and multiple times we were told "it's coming" and it didn't arrive. When we finally threatened a lawsuit, he suddenly found the time to find our pod. The pod was delivered, then NOT PICKED UP 3 times when we were told it would be, then sat in our driveway for another 7 days, even though we called every day. It was a young lady that got an attitude with me because I did not know the procedures of setting up an account. I did not know that you needed three contact phone numbers. Had I been told that beforehand the process would not have been as complicated. Then when I opened up the storage unit there were pest traps all over the floor. I went downstairs to ask the about them and they told me to just leave them in there. Which made no sense to me because the floor was almost completely covered with the sticky traps.
