The woman who worked the counter and handled my reservation was wonderful! I would have taken her on my trip if I could. It's nice to do business with a company when the employees are professional and friendly. When I return to Houston I will stop in just to say hello.

Gerald E.My storage was safe but someone threw some shoe sandles and shoes into my storage it had a few openings on the sides on top and broke my glass on china cabinet. I had to remove the glass and when I opened my storage this Winters all my stuff was reorganizated differently. I found a rat trap in the middle back section of my storage. And a medal vase I has was damage some boxes tore from the reorganizating. Still looking for a coushion to one of my couches. I left the storage on June 12 and waiting on my pro-rate refund.. My due day is the 17th. I have insurance with uhaul and will look to see if they will pay me for damages. The lady closed the account and I asked for refund and damages she will talk manager: Jeff .. and said he will call me.

LAWRENCE C.Both box trucks had warning lights displayed. The 1st truck issued had a check engine light on as well. I refused to drive it. Once issued a vehicle, the e-check in would not allow me to begin the inspection over for the vehicle I would be renting. Customer service agent who fist saw me could not have been less pleased to have my business. The agent was even more agitated with me complaining that the truck was not in good working order and wanted me to drive it anyway.

I did my reservation Online for 4 hours and I don't know why the person on the front desk changed for a 2 hours. Fortunately, I did less than 3 hours but I received a call from one lady asking me what about the return of the truck after 2 hours. You should train better your employees and mainly the people who is in the front desk

Karen C.Ever since I booked a u-box I have been getting calls saying that my rent is overdue. I never rented a storage unit and have communicated this probably a dozen times by now. I don't know if this issue has been resolved or not, I have been told each time that it was resolved and then a few months later I would get another call about it. The staff has been wonderful and I'm not upset about the experience, but this does give me serious doubt about how much I could trust u-haul to store my valuables.

Oscar B.1. U-Boxes were in so much bad condition. We could barely close the door. Already complained to person who picked-up from Houston location. 2. U-Boxes were stayed on Houston yard over a week and while I called customer care they put me on hold for 15+ minutes and did not answer after that. 3. I tried to call 3 days back to back... again 2nd day I inquired about status and person hangup on me. It was very rude. 4. When U-Boxes arrived to California, a person who dropped off boxes, mentioned these boxes cannot be used again.. they're going to trash it... as mentioned above u-boxes were in really bad shape. 5. Person in California said, we've to fold each furniture pads else they will charge additional payment. This is not acceptable.

Upon arriving I was told all systems were down due to a power outage and even though I had paid for movers through Uhaul's site I was advised by the manager he could do nothing about my situation and he would NOT waive any fees as a customer service gesture due to the situation. I ended up paying the movers for an entire additional hour to make up for the time lost because of the delay. This was not fair to me as a customer.

These people are scam artist and I'll definitely be filing charges. I don't have money to lose or waste I will definitely never go through them again.

A new home purchase in town and a job assignment move to another state. Jeffrey and his staff were able to help me with the size of truck and supplies that I needed for my move. As well as a storage room that fit my needs. No only were the staff friendly the other clients at this Uhaul location were friendly and helping each other out in many positive ways. This facility is beyond unprofessional, I’ve had multiple issues with my storage unit access and all the employees have loaded excuses or just tell you the manager isn’t there and to come back which isn’t really helpful when you need assistance immediately. One day I needed access to my unit and my key didn’t work which was odd because I did not change my lock, I go to the front desk and someone changed my units lock without notifying me or giving me a copy of the new key. When I asked for an explanation as to why management changed my lock and did not call me, I wasn't given an answer just “we changed it for security purposes” which I think is concerning. They also didn’t have the new key labeled and a employee had to go through a plastic bag of unit keys to try to find the new key for the new lock. That was exhausting. I decided to move out my unit because my experience has been the worse. I move my stuff out, go to the storage two days later to see that they already cleaned my unit and secured it with a “customer ready” tag before I could even tell the front counter I wanted to start the move out process. I’m so grateful to never have to deal with this location or uhaul specifically ever again.

The dash had a warning message that the RR tire was low s d the front desk person said she could not help me which was not safe and poor customer service. I had to take the truck to a station. to get it taken care of of. In addition I got other warning ⚠️ messages while driving the truck back to Houston.
