Apparently, U-Haul is quite short on 4x8 or 5x8 trailers in California! I'd like to suggest more trailers be provided for faster pickup, as I had to wait two weeks for a trailer in the Sacramento area!ROBERTPHILIP A.

Hire better people for better customer service. I feel I was discriminated against with one of the workers at 6425 Stockton Blvd. Location closed at 7PM in which I pulled up to return the truck minutes before 7PM. I literally watched the worker see me pull in and walked up to the door to lock it. I proceeded to walk to the door and advised her that I needed her assistance to return the vehicle. She shrugged her shoulders and said we're closed. Of course I looked at my phone clock and it was 6:58 and showed her from a distance. Long story short I now had a late fee because she would not assist me even though she assured me that I will not get a late fee telling me this info through the door by the way without a mask. I will never book a uhaul again! This is not okay and I will be filing a claim against this worker I believe her name was Monica and location.DANIELLE G.

When I returned the truck I had filled the gas right back to the line that was highlighted on my paperwork. When I got to the drop off location, I was told I was going to be charged 19.00 because I didn't fill the tank back to the line. I've rented at least 4 u hauls this years from a different location and have never had an issue with the flags level when I returned. I left this location, went back to the gas station added more gasâ€”by this point it was way over the lineâ€” returned to drop It off and had to wait 30 minutes to get help. I've never had such an awful experience with u haul in my 20 years of using your trucks.Marcos R.

I was told to pick up the truck and auto transport at different locations, which was fine. However, when going to pick up the auto transport, we were sent to the wrong location at first, and when we got to the second location we connected the truck to the auto transport, only to be told that we have to disconnect it because we were given one with a different serial number. I had to extend my stay at a hotel for an extra day as a result of this. However, everyone at each location was super nice, they just made many mistakesteman G.

Vehicle did not run well. Shifted very hard. Check engine light was on. Clerks at location, one was not wearing mask, the other one was wearing mask below their nose. Reservations were miss handled by first location. Most of the mileage charged on the vehicle was due to having to pick up at a further location due to an error from U-Haul. Not a thing. Although, I went to the nearest center to where I live for I failed to read the conformation email; though not a problem. A customer was venting to C-19's protocols, the staff @ the 3000block on Florin Road handled each issue very well. As for the center I did obtain a trailer were cordial & professional. Very pleased. Trailer lights were inoperable. Returned after hours and website would not allow to take required photos. Had to re-hook trailer and return next morning. Well , i think you should make the mileage , Bigger on the form. Very small #. Making sure if individual is in need of daelee , or special moving blackets, Or even have some rope elastic bands. Some people get in a rush and forget. U all can charge for usual cotton blankes, but the others should be a given. Pluse rope insures heavy objecs don't get thrown around in the truck and damage inside with big dents.HOUMAN A.

Initial reservation was for the Gerber location. For 1pm.I arrived at the location at 12:30 and the sign at the door said come back at 2pm we are at lunch...what....I had to go to another location on west Stockton Blvd and luckily someone had just drop of a truck. My appointment to pick up my sofa was at 130 would not have been able to pick up my sofa if I was not able to rent my equipment as planned if I was not able to rent a truck at a new location...Also my reciept was not emailed to me as George said it would be I had contact U-Haul to get my reciept.Sandra O.

I want to first say that having a storage here for 1 year time now has been great. I've had nothing but a great experience. From the staff to the hours to the convenience of the location. Here is what I would like to see improved. The sign in method (card swipe) does not turn off the alarm system if the alarm goes off. I would want a better system that allows a card swipe to turn off the alarm when staff is not around to turn it off. Other than that the experience I've had at Uhaul whether that is the transportation aspect or the storage unit has been nothing short than a quality experience. 5 stars in my book!Eric A. | Overall Experience
