Horrible service had me go to a tire shop then they just gave me the key nothing else no contract or anything he said he was just the mechanic then it took me 2 hrs to return the uhaul since the tire shop was closed and their gate was locked. Then when talking to the service department they stated they would not charge me the extra miles of trying to return it to 2 other locations and I still was charged. Very very unhappyStephanie S.

When I got the 20' truck the gas tank was on empty with the gas light on. I put $20 in gas in the truck as soon as I left the pickup location. We only drove the truck maybe 15 miles. I then put $37 again in gas prior to us returning the truck. When Frank was checking us back in at the location I told him about the gas being on empty when we got it. He told is people had been taking the gas at night. The gas gauge was at just under 1/4 of a tank. When Frank went in to get my receipt a lady who worked there came in it with him and said he must have did something wrong because the amount that was going to be returned to my card was too much. She then said I would be charge the $40 gas charge because the gas wasn't exactly at 1/4. I then explained to her that there was no gas when we got it. I also told her I put $57 total in gas and now i was going to be charged an additional $40. This is not ok. I paid a total of $97 in gas to drive the U haul truck 15 miles. I will never again rent a truck from U HaulNadia M.

The person that helped me at the counter was apparently new. He had no idea how to check me in with my reservation. He also was the person that hooked up the trailer to my car. He did not tighten the trailer to the car and two miles later the trailer came off and smashed into the back of my car creating damage to my vehicle. I also bought a trailer ball for my hitch which he installed. He did not install properly. I showed him the instructions and he redid it. Was charged 100 dollar extra for â€œfuel serviceâ€ and gas (8gal) for moving a fridge with a round trip of 18 miles. I put 2 gal of gas in it upon returning the vehicle. I should have gotten a receipt from the gas station but it wasn't something I thought I needed to do. Since the place was only staffed by 1 person I returned the car without doing a full walk around and gas check so to my surprise the hit me with fake fees. So who ever is reading this, take a picture of the gas gauge before and after returning it. Don't just drop off the keys, do a full walk around so you don't get over charged like I did.Tuan P.

He provided excellent customer service and was polite. Both need a substantial raise as well as their supervisor since that is exemplary amazing customer service all around. Not much, this went as smooth as it could possibly go. Both gentlemen I met at pick-up and drop-off sites were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The process and agreements were clear and easy to understand, the vehicle was in great shape, the move and ride went smoothly, and the drop-off was as simple as delivering the keys. The hardest part was moving in the heat, but that's what I get for moving in July!Daniel F.

The woman that rented the truck on the morning pick up was helpful. The Moving Help service was not good. I never received a 6 digit code to provide. I ended up having to pay in full cash after the move. I need the intitial $560 charged to my card refunded.Brian M.

I reserved a 20' truck well in advance for a move. The day before the move, I was told all they have is a 15' foot truck. That meant double the gas because of two trips instead of one. When I picked up the truck, five pads were in the truck instead of 24. The tire had a screw in it, so I was then given another truck. The new truck didn't have a lock on it like the first one did. After returning the truck, the return process on the website didn't work. I was then assured that the phone number would work if the app didn't. The number went straight to voicemail. The next day I was charged an obscene amount of money for mileage. Againâ€¦it's not my fault I was given the wrong truck. UHAUL should be called UFAILâ€¦Never againâ€¦I should be refunded my money fully!SCOTT H.

The truck smelled of weed and urine. It was not cleaned properly and they tried to charge us a cleaning fee for the smell. It always had an engine issue so we didn't get to use it the full day as needed and had to wait around for a technician to come look at it.Erick S.
I returned my rented dolly and the employee looked busy and made me feel like I was bothering her. I asked twice for a receipt showing I returned the dolly. She told me twice she sent the receipt. I cannot say enough good things about Betty and the Staff at the 47th and Stockton Location. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is remarkable. They are friendly, helpful, accommodating, professional. When I moved my parents from LA, Betty had the largest storage unit with the best prices, I was happy to rent from her. I have had my unit for two years and every interaction with the Staff strengthens my opinion of them. I would drive from across town to purchase items from them. Sadly they don't have a car dolly or I would cancel my reservation with the Citrus Heights location and rent it from 47th. I want to first say that having a storage here for 1 year time now has been great. I've had nothing but a great experience. From the staff to the hours to the convenience of the location. Here is what I would like to see improved. The sign in method (card swipe) does not turn off the alarm system if the alarm goes off. I would want a better system that allows a card swipe to turn off the alarm when staff is not around to turn it off. Other than that the experience I've had at Uhaul whether that is the transportation aspect or the storage unit has been nothing short than a quality experience. 5 stars in my book!Eric A. | Overall Experience
