Have full tanks of gas that way the employees won't have a problem over charging the customer saying it's always more then what the gas guage really is. Never let a truck leave the lot w/less then a full tank of gas. Your systems are always down, can NEVER check in via my phone, bcuz ur system doesn't work, same as self check in, wasn't able to do that eight w/out system error, very agitating! Wow uHaul, u think $.99 cents a mile is absolutely ludacris! 08/31/20 it was $.90 cents a mile, still ridiculous! Inconvenient every ave. Budget doesn't have a problem filling their gas tanks full 4 the customer. U never pay for gas, the customer does.

The staff, especially the Manager, were professional enough, but the overall experience was nightmarish because of U-Haul's clunky, junky app. It's hilarious enough that the company makes you do the staff's work for them -- entering the starting mileage, inspecting for damage, etc. But when the app mysteriously declares that you already checked in when you didn't, and you have no way to note that, somehow, the logged starting mileage was more than 100 miles less than the actual reading, you are forced to depend on a verbal assurance "not to worry about it"... It all combines for unnecessary added stress. By the way, the appliance dolly I ordered and was billed for was not in the truck. In the end, the bill was corrected, but make no mistake: The app is NOT there to help you; it's there to make their job easier and is very customer-hostile. Neutral experience at best.

Good Morning I originally resereved the trailer on 27th avenue and Dunlap with contract 80818032. My trailer was not there at the location at the time of my reservation and i had to go all the way to 51st avenue and glendale to pick up the trailer. the rep at the uhaul on 27th ave denied my $50 credit that it specifically says i should get if my equipment is not there at the time it was reserved. they were not helpful at all with that and said since i was going to a different location to pick up that i did not qualify for the credit. Please assist.

Service was good.. rented a tow dolly for 24 hrs.. returned it 8 hours later and was charged for an over night service charge.. i have returned other equipment before at other locations after hours and have not been charged this fee before and I was never told about this fee..

I went there earlier today to rent a storage unit and was helped by a new employee. He was very friendly, but he missed quite a few important details. After completing the transaction, I went to check out my unit. I was not offered to be shown where it was by the office staff, and when I tried to get in through the doors, they didn't open. The janitor informed me I needed to use my card. I was not given a card. I had to go back inside and ask for my card. Not a big deal at this point. I was given my card and was able to get in. When I went to the basement to view my unit, it was locked. I was informed by the personnel in there that I needed approval for them to remove the lock. I spoke with the "manager" Coty, and she said it was approved. So I went to get back in, and the door would not open. After standing there for a few minutes, I went back inside and spoke with Coty again (who was too busy to make sure I had everything I needed to complete my transaction). She then informed me it would take 24 hours for my card to open the doors even though it was checking me in and out. She then pointed out a door that I could use that was in the office (would have been helpful to mention during the rental transaction). I then went and found the janitor and let him know that Coty authorized the removal of the lock. He removed it and asked me where my lock was. I told him that I was told they weren't provided and would have to buy my own (and was not told they sold them there), and he told me that it should have been. I returned to the office again, and asked Coty if I could ask her a quick question, (about the lock), and she told me I'd have to wait until she finished helping the customer she was with. I then told her that I had not been fully helped, and she ignored. I only wanted to question about the lock. At this point, I was thoroughly frustrated with this entire ordeal. When it was my "turn", I inquired about the lock in which she told me "how am I supposed to know you weren't offered a lock?" in a rude tone. I then told her that I would like a refund since if it's this difficult now, why would I want to continue this agreement. She then told me, and in a very rude tone with angry facial features that "Don't take this out on him, he's new!" I said I wanted a refund again, and it was processed. The issue here is that they had a new employee with no training, the "manager" didn't care, and the rudeness when trying to get everything straightened out. I don't work there, so how am I supposed to know the procedure? Coty is a terrible manager, and if you, the owner, check this, please re-think your employee decisions.

Robert checked me out and back in. He made the process seamless. Great Employee!!! Unlike many other uhaul locations. PS. Your phone wait time needs to be improved. This is based on 3 Calls into the store.

I could feel that there was a different sensation as I took off with the truck. I am a good truck driver, but did not identify the sensation as a tire problem. I actually though the sounds were from the Tow/Haul gears. I ended with two bad tires in the middle of the night sitting and waiting 3 hours for assistance. I was overly fatigued. My service providers were very good and Juan was fast and efficient once the materials arrived. I have been utilizing this particular Uhaul address for 35 years, driving trucks, using packing materials, and buying supplies. This is a first. The mechanic should have caught the left tire pressure. I am home and safe. That is what matters. Redburn was the service that arrived to change the tires.

From start to finish, the customer service was poor. I was accused of damaging a truck and treated as if I was a criminal. I will not be using UHaul ever again after this experience. The lady was extremely rude to me and insisted I did this and I should know to reply to a text message. It used to be that we walked around the truck with a paper and pen to inspect it. I had no idea a text message was sent. That was the last thing I was looking for at that time. I am appalled and furious with my experience at this place.

The manager went above and beyond to help me and to make sure I understood everything but the thing that made me feel really good was I came to the dealership to return the trailer but I was not able to remove my car off the auto transport because the Batery was dead and the manager and his staff came out to assist me I was very dehydrated and I guess they could see that I was struggling trying to jump the car on the auto transport so they came over and assisted me and gave me water and assisted me in removing my car off the auto trans port I thought about when I got home and rested and I feel the manager and his staff went above and beyond people are always saying the bad about but I want to point out that they went above and beyond to assist me

The rental agent was extremely rude and had hickies on her neck. The trailer had a different tire and rim on the passenger rear side that rubbed on the inside of the fender well. I was scared that the tire was going to blow out.

You are charging me a $75 no show fee which is ridiculous! I kept in contact w/yall's, except when the wait time is 20 mins, u dont have time for that crap! U need 2 have more people answer the damn phones. Having to wait 20 minutes to speak 2 a rep is beyond crap! I'm waiting right now 20 mins 2 speak 2 a rep 2 get this $75 refunded. When ur moving & in a hurry, & having 2 wait 29 mins 2 tell let u know the trucks not going to be back on time ludacris! I've never been charged this nor did anybody tell me this in the store! I'm still on hold! I will NEVER RENT UHAUL AGAIN! U charge almost a dollar a mile, who does that! Oh that's right Uhaul does! Still on hold waiting to talk 2 a rep. Automated said 10 min hold, I've Ben waiting now 13 mins wtf! Get it together! You are stealing from me $75, wow going on 14 min, then 15. Don't have time 2 wait for this crap! I want the $75 refunded immediately. I tried several times to call in & nobody answers the phones to update u on my rental return. It's now going on over 16 mins on hold. Your company is greedy trying to charge people for extra charges. I'm homeless right now & u want to charge me a $75 no show fee. The lady on the phone just hung up on me after I told her to hold on so I can read her that charge on my bank, I told her hold on, after waiting 20 freakin mins on freakin hold, freakin ridiculous! I'm going to leave a horrible review on yelp! Terrible customer service!

I had a good experience except the time the manager (I don't remember his name), had a problem with me being in my unit longer than an hour. He made it to where I couldn't get back in that night. I was trying to organize my stuff and clean up and grab some things on the way out. He made that very difficult for me! I never had a problem before that, but I thought that was very rude to do that behind my back.

When I got in the truck there was no sun visor up so the leather was so hot and the truck smelled like sweat. It was probably 115° that day. The radio was blaring so loud which made me wonder if the truck was cleaned/inspected by a uhaul employee at all. Very concerning during a pandemic. I had to load the appliance dolly into the truck myself even though the truck had been reserved since the day before and the dolly was on the reservation. I would have refused the truck but I didn't have time to wait for the truck to be cleaned. I wiped down what I could myself. Really poor experience. I'd like to hear back if there is any compensation for the issues.

I got into the truck I rented, there was suppose to be 1/4 tank of gas in it. It read empty, come to find out the gauge was broke and I ran out of gas. To top that off later that night i got pulled over for not having working tail lights and no blinker. All this should have been inspected by the employees before giving it to a customer. Then the manager didnt even care to handle the situation properly. I think I should have gotten a refund. No she just sent me on my way.
