Vehicle should be ready for the next customer. Tires were at 50% pressure. Very dirty windows and pet hair all over seats, disgusting. Had to clean seats and windows prior to driving. Also looked like someone had spilled syrup on a section of the cup holder. Returned van much cleaner than when I got it. People on site were great though.Hilario S.

Truck was out of fuel when I picked it up. The contract said it had a half tank. I left it with a quarter tank. The problem was resolved when I turned it in but I feel like I should get a partial refund for the excess fuel I left.Jeffrey C.

I reserved a rental for 6am. Whn inarrived at the location it kept telling me the system shows i am not at the location. I was at the correct location, even right on the pin on the map, however it kept saying that i wasnt at the location. Clearly something was wrong. I wasn't notified until last minute that this would be my pickup location. Apparently the closer truck had issues, so in the midst of moving, I now had to plan for an almost hour drive to pick up my truckâ€¦ and a different one for the other equipment.Diana S.

The reservation for the truck, was not there, even though I confirmed the day before, we reserved movers, (through U-Haul) they were at our house ready to go we went to 4 locations to get a truck, even though the person on the phone kept sending us to different stores. Moving is stressful enough then when the truck wasn't ready it caused an unbelievable additional stress.SCOTT J.

Was a little upset that they wouldn't take my paper CDL. I am waiting for the hard copy in mail. They followed policy which is great but it is a legal document even the federal government takes but not Uhal that is a silly policy for sure. I booked my reservation online to pick up at 6am. I followed ALL of the instructions and even got the confirmation/reservation # on 9/1. When I went to pick it up using my phone, it showed I had "no reservations/rentals". After trying for 30 mins to work through this glitch myself, I had to call customer support where after 10 mins I was finally able to get it taken care of. Didn't leave the uhual location until I had to do additional phone verification steps. There was a glitch in your online system and that was frustrating. Then having to do more steps of verification after the fact was also frustrating. Im lucky I was able to get someone to answer the uhaul call to verify me that early in the am.Michael A.

The first location I went to did not have my equipment. With reservation guarantee, I thought I would get $50 back if I didn't receive the rental. Instead, I went 12 minutes away to a different location and was helped. The first man was very nice and helpful, the one who helped us when we dropped it was was pretty rude.Elle G.

First, tell this location and every location in Glendale to honor the first free month of storage with a qualified one way rental. They cost me and extra 500$ for my move. Whoever the red headed, unkept, rude arsehole is should be fired. He said and I quote â€œI'm so fucking done with todayâ€ because I asked to redeem my free month of storage. Get a new job if you're that unhappy. The rental I had picked up was disgusting but I didn't have time to ask for a different one. The rental itself needs so much maintenance. The engine ran like shit and the gas gauge wouldn't move after I put gas in it. I had a shit experience and I never want to go to this uhaul again.Miranda B.

The Storage unit I ordered was not available! I had a confirmation number and the reserved unit that was not really in existence! This was a problem, there really weren’t other options which makes one wonder why you even make reservations with U-Haul… but the gentleman, Behind the counter was able to find something that worked. It will cost me quite a bit more not thrilled about that. This is not the first time that I’ve reserved Some thing from U-Haul they didn’t really exist when I got there. Yes I do still use U haul services but I have to say you need to get better at knowing what you have in inventory and making sure you don’t double book! I said that I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to a friend there was no maybe offered, I may recommend it but I would let them know that even though you book ahead what you’ve ordered may not be there so be leery! It ended up OK and I have a storage unit but it’s costing me way more and it’s not a drive up one I’m a senior didn’t really wanna have to put everything on a cart and wheel it around in the buildingAnd made reservations so I wouldn’t have to do that but now I’m doing it anyway at a higher price not exactly thrilled. I applied online at 9 pm at night and didn't realize they were closed, ok no worries. When I was ready to move in (during business hours 2 days later), I learned that I was given a refund because they had double booked the unit. I went there earlier today to rent a storage unit and was helped by a new employee. He was very friendly, but he missed quite a few important details. After completing the transaction, I went to check out my unit. I was not offered to be shown where it was by the office staff, and when I tried to get in through the doors, they didn't open. The janitor informed me I needed to use my card. I was not given a card. I had to go back inside and ask for my card. Not a big deal at this point. I was given my card and was able to get in. When I went to the basement to view my unit, it was locked. I was informed by the personnel in there that I needed approval for them to remove the lock. I spoke with the "manager" Coty, and she said it was approved. So I went to get back in, and the door would not open. After standing there for a few minutes, I went back inside and spoke with Coty again (who was too busy to make sure I had everything I needed to complete my transaction). She then informed me it would take 24 hours for my card to open the doors even though it was checking me in and out. She then pointed out a door that I could use that was in the office (would have been helpful to mention during the rental transaction). I then went and found the janitor and let him know that Coty authorized the removal of the lock. He removed it and asked me where my lock was. I told him that I was told they weren't provided and would have to buy my own (and was not told they sold them there), and he told me that it should have been. I returned to the office again, and asked Coty if I could ask her a quick question, (about the lock), and she told me I'd have to wait until she finished helping the customer she was with. I then told her that I had not been fully helped, and she ignored. I only wanted to question about the lock. At this point, I was thoroughly frustrated with this entire ordeal. When it was my "turn", I inquired about the lock in which she told me "how am I supposed to know you weren't offered a lock?" in a rude tone. I then told her that I would like a refund since if it's this difficult now, why would I want to continue this agreement. She then told me, and in a very rude tone with angry facial features that "Don't take this out on him, he's new!" I said I wanted a refund again, and it was processed. The issue here is that they had a new employee with no training, the "manager" didn't care, and the rudeness when trying to get everything straightened out. I don't work there, so how am I supposed to know the procedure? Coty is a terrible manager, and if you, the owner, check this, please re-think your employee decisions.Justin B. | Overall Experience

I had a good experience except the time the manager (I don't remember his name), had a problem with me being in my unit longer than an hour. He made it to where I couldn't get back in that night. I was trying to organize my stuff and clean up and grab some things on the way out. He made that very difficult for me!
