JAMES EEasy drop off center, felt like a rental center at an airport. The only other comment I have is the gas tank should just be full when picked up. It's much easier to return it full than 1/2 full, which is what it was when I picked it up. Inevitably, you will end up with more gas than you left it, which I hope was not the plan, as it leaves a sour taste in the renter's mouth.

LAURA MYou can improve this facility by doing a better job with maintenance on the equipment that I rented, this was the second time in less than 2 years, I rented equipment and the tires was very low almost flat, and a light wasn't working, I took care of both problems myself but most people would not have, and 2nd, since a lot of your customers are seniors and not a tech wizard, it would be better if there was another way to purchase a product without going through so much phone scanning in person.

MELAKU ETHIS WASN'T MY MOVE OUT DATE MONTH OF JULY 2024 WAS MY MOVE OUT DATE THE STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL ABOUT MY UNIT 3012 NEVER SIGNED ME OUT AFTER I IN PERSON TOLD THEM I WAS MOVING OUT MANAGEMENT GAVE ME A COUPLE OF DAYS TO DO SO WHEN RETURNING TO THE UNIT 3012 IT WAS LOCKED THEN I WAS FORCED TO MAKE PAYMENT ON A FEW THINGS THAT WAS LEFT THERE I TOOK OUT WHAT WAS IMPORTANT AND THAT I COULD CARRY THE STAFF CONTINUED TO CALL ME FOR PAYMENT AFTER I TOLD I NO LONGER NEED THE UNIT 3012 ALSO TELLING THEM IN PERSON I MOVED OUT THEY TOLD ME I HAD A DISC LOCK ON THE UNIT AND STILL HAS SOMETHINGS LEFT BEHIND INSIDE I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO SAY

BEKIM PLicense registration software would work on my iPhone 14. After several attempts the software could not access my camera..This must be resolved. Customers are not comfortable leaving their license ID on a Company System Phone Network Scanner.
MICHAEL AYou sure that you're associates actually clean the rental before renting it out. I spent 15 minutes in the parking lot cleaning it myself before I drove off. Had I returned it how I received it I would have had to pay a cleaning fee. It would be better if you paid me the cleaning fee since I had to clean it myself. And then cleaned it again before I returned it.

JEROME CHaven't seen my I was very disappointed to learn that the rental is a 24-hour rental yet we were asked how long we needed the rental and not only that the fact that if it's 24 hours and we're paying a rate for renting the truck why would we return it early and still yet pay the same price as if we're renting it for a full 24 hours the customer service was fine I just feel like that aspect of it I really don't like when you rent these trucks it is a 24-hour rental for a particular fee we were trying to rush and make sure we got it back even though we were returning it after closing time it was just a lot of stressors with moving and trying to get this truck back only to learn that the rental is 24 hours so we really didn't need to have it back in a couple of hours we could have just kept it until that time the next day and returned it my stress level would have not been as high as it was and I just feel like we paid the same price for a 24 rental but we had it back within the same day I just feel kind of cheated and I wasn't given that information up front

JACQUELINE RI will never come back nor recommend U-Haul to anyone I know. This store was unorganized for returns and donāt the supply for the over flow demand of trucks. My customer service experience is the reason I will never go back. Literally the worst!!

ELIJAH EThe person who helped me was pleasant, but the truck smelled like death. Nobody wiped it down. The front of the truck look like somebody blood on it. The tire light was on and she said itās normal they just wonāt fix it. The truck jerked while driving. It was only 1 head light (I left during daylight). This may not be a location issue but the lady told me since I was returning after hours on the app. Downloaded the app and it told me I attempted too many times to sign up on my 1st try. So after 2 more tryās I called the 800 number and rely on the representative to put the correct notes in and return me at 9:30 pm. That was my experience

JEROME CThe customer service and the rental were fine. Vehicle was great. I was really shocked and frustrated with the fees that were tacked on AFTER the estimate. A cleaning fee? For $25? Iāve rented in multiple places and never had that. Very shady to not include that fee in the initial rate. The ID fee? Itās all bullshit. My $19.95/day rental was $120 bucks plus gas. Feels dishonest to me.

RACHEL EThe customer service team was rude and not helpful. I rented a small truck and auto transport. Both rentals were due back on Saturday, August 17th, but I arrived at the return location on Wednesday, August 14th, and wanted to return just the auto transport, and would return the truck later that week, before August 17th. I arrived on Wednesday at approximately 6:45pm, and the store closed at 7pm. The rep told me his name was James Ellis and said that he did not have room to accept the auto transport, so I had to wait until my scheduled return date or return it to another location, but did not help me find another option. I was shocked at the terrible customer service. However, he did help me get my car off of the auto transport, and this is when the lip of the auto transport pulled off the bumper from my car because the Houston location gave me equipment that wasn't right for my vehicle. On Thursday, August 15th, I returned the auto transport to a location on Joy Rd in Detroit, where they had outstanding customer service. I returned the truck to the Livernois location on Friday, August 16th without any issues, again with James. Later in the afternoon on August 16th, I realized I left the key to the Uhaul lock I purchased to lock the truck's back door, on the truck's key ring, so I returned to the Livernois location and spoke to James again. The truck had already been rented out and was gone, but, again, James was rude and argued with me that he did not see the lock key on the ring... terrible customer service to argue with a customer. Because of the issues with my bumper coming off, the employee in Houston not correctly attaching my car, and the terrible customer service at the Detroit-Livernois location, I will not ever use Uhaul again and I will not recommend them.
SHANA JI tried to use the U-Haul app to pickup the van, but there was no response online. The desk work was able to help quickly get the van I requested and returning the van after hours using the app went smoothly. The van was very unsafe at highway speeds because steering wanders very badly. This van should be serviced before returning it out again. I wish I could give a higher overall grade because desk service was good, because the vehicle was very unsafe and dangerous.
