Very unprofessional staff. Walked into a conversation of people cursing and waiting a long time . Also was supposed to have a dolly in the truck and it ended up not being there when we got to loading so we had to request a refund for the dolly .

The gentleman who assisted during pickup was not helpful. He never explained anything regarding the truck or drop off procedure. Spoke to me as if I knew everything. Can't remember his name and one bad apple doesn't spoil that bunch for me. Overall everyone else was pleasant to work with.

Make sure what people reserve is avalible when they come to get it if not give them a heads up that what they ordered isn't available and tell them what is so there isn't any surprise when u get there to pick up!! I was compensated $50 Thank u for that just really needed that 20ft truck but thankfully a friend helped me with their truck to make up for it!!

I was charged twice for a truck rental I had 7 hours with less than 3 miles over the allowed 20 miles pre-estimate. Then no one in the store was able to correct their mistake. But gave me a business card for a manager. Very unprofessional

Once vehicle was returned. Had to wait hours for store Sup. to get back to close acct out even after given specific closeout tome. Worker called Sup. and he pretty much was rude with her in ref to closing my acct out.

I got an automated text, telling me I had to return my uhaul by 2:30 in the afternoon. It seemed odd, but I made sure to meet the deadline. It was extremely inconvenient and I had to rush to get it back. When I got there to return it, the woman told me I could have returned it any time before 9:00 the next day, since I picked it up at 9:00 that day! I wasted 45 minutes at least, getting it there by 2:30, and was almost late meeting a deadline because Of that automated text. The woman who helped me was apologetic and nice and hoped the manager would give me some sort of compensation. He didn’t. Just said sorry and offered to let me use the truck longer, which I didn’t need. I needed that 45+ minutes back. I’m not sure why the automated texts exist if they’re not accurate anyway. It’s an issue that I think needs to be addressed.

Please, please improve on customer service at the counter. I had reservations and still had to wait 45 minutes to be served. I thought it would improve once I returned the truck, but it was worse. I’m not using this location anymore. The staff is very unprofessional and lack the proper experience to be working in such a popular location. Please address this problem!!!

PERSONNALLY, I FEEL THE AMOUNT OF FUEL STARTING THE U HAUL MOVE IS A BIT LOW WITH ONLY A QUARTER OF A TANK, IN THE WINTER THIS WOULD BE INCONVENIENT, BUT THEN I DID NOT KNOW IT WOULD TAKE TWENTY DOLLARS FOR AN EIGHTH OF A TANK FOR A 15 FOOT TRUCK, TIME AND COST HAVE CHANGED!!!

The woman that I had help me during pick up was helpful, cordial, engaging, and very nice. Thinks went without much of a hitch other than the vehicle I had reserved hadn't been checked back in from the previous renter. It wasn't a big deal and they expedited it efficiently and brought the vehicle around for me. The real stars were the two gentle when I brought it back. I had called about 20 minutes prior to close stating I was bringing the vehicle back. I spoke with Roderick and he said to not worry about it since I had reserved it for 24 hours and it wasn't due back until the morning. I explained that I had paid cash for the deposit and wanted to get it taken care of if possible when I brought the vehicle back. I went on to say that I was staying approximately 20-30 minutes away and was hoping to not have to come back. Roderick said no problem and that he would stay for me. From that point anything that could slow me down did. I refilled the vehicle with fuel and pulled in to the store at approximately 7:07pm when they were scheduled to close at 7pm. The other gentleman by the name of Manuel working at the checking station was very helpful as well. I gathered my belongings from the van and walked over to my car. After I put my belongs in the car I started walking into the store to finish things up with Roderick. As I was walking in I realized I didn't have my phone. After the terrible day I had had it felt like another nail in the coffin so to speak. Manuel and Roderick assisted me in finding my phone which turned out to be still in the van. It had fallen of the center console and slid behind one of the seats. I had gone back and checked the van initially but the phone blended in with floor. There was not much light in the cab and it was the begining of twilight. The assisted in finding by calling it several times while I searched. Was so relieved when I found it. These two gentlemen should definitely be recognized for going above and beyond.

Staff at this location was very helpful. The van was clean, all fluids looked fresh and topped off, tires were at proper air pressure. Tow dolly was in good shape and everything worked well. I had confidence that my 600 mile move would go smoothly and it did. thanks!

Waited over an hour to get a truck with a reservation ahead of time. I started with lower than a quarter tank which is no gas when driving to Ann Arbor and I brought it back to where it was and was charged for gas. Called the location and they never answer so the automative call people answers and I asked them why was I charged for gas and she said that she would call the 7mile and Livernois location to verify why. Still have not revived a call. I don’t get why I am being charged for gas when I pulled off and had to stop at for gas station. I won’t be returning.

I learned that this is an employee owned store. This should be advertised more, as I believe customer's would gravitate to an employee owned stored, all else being equal.
