The second truck I rented I had was hit on every side. Front broken both sides were hit metal split? Drove like it was going to quit but it didn't. Steering was need an alinement snow and ice. The new staff made a huge mistake ny giving me the wrong size truck. I reserved a 20' for today and a 15' for two days from now. The manager is a TERRIBLE representative for U-Haul.. she has a very bad demeanor. While completing my transactions I had a few questions regarding my charges she got IRATE and beat her fist on the counter with a very nasty tone and she wasn't the person that was helping me.. it was a store full of customers who witnessed this. I'm definitely writing corporate to get about this matter. I will never go back to that location as long as she works there.

Had to cancel a reservation due to the safemovers not coming. Believe I should have received a full refund for truck due to everything being stopped due to the uhaul movers that did not arrive. I returned the truck back in 2 hours and was still charged even though rep/manager i spoke to on phone stated I would. The rep in store stated due to the 9 miles driven was my charge but my rental came with 40 free miles. I wasted over $40 dollars for a terrible situation not of my own. That’s enough to fill up my car. Who has money to waste.

I came in and was seen within fifteen minutes. I failed to pay attention to the height of the storage unit and had movers waiting to help me, when I realized that the unit I had chosen was too small, they immediately moved me to a bigger unit with no charge. This is very different from public storage where it isn't a smooth process and they try to charge you more. I'm very pleased with my experience at this facility. They were very knowledgable about the system and what needed to be done to help out!

Although my moving was stressful Ms. Ellis made sure I was in and out and made sure I was good I love her customer service she was awesome. Will definitely recommend the 7 mile and Livernois location

They need more help and they need more training for customer services I was yelled at and I was trying to rent a truck and get one month free storage and I only got the storage and he did not try to at least see if anything was available at another store I could have got the deal I needed so I’m extremely disappointed and I had to cry to get directions to my storage

I had to cancel my storage unit because I physically couldn’t climb those stairs. There need to be an elevator in this facility which would make it easier to move in and out. I called UHaul main number explained my situation she sent email to the manager about a ground level unit. No response or call from manager even after I emailed him about a ground level unit.
I have since found another storage unit at a different facility with an elevator which met all of my needs.

I am very disappointed with the manager and I think he could have handled the situation better. I reserved a storage unit and put a card on file a month ago, I packed my truck up and went to move in and there was no unit reserved for me, but they had all my info saved in there system. I spoke with management and he had no solution to accommodate me and I ended up having to spend a extra $150 for there negligence

I wish I had the choice but to bet a heated storage. It was 92 outside and 90 degrees inside. I was soaked wet by the time my fiancé and I were done. Not sure why there is need for a heated storage in the summertime.

The staff who I first got the uhaul storage unit was AMAZING! The check out staff particularly the Caucasian man was rude, not helpful and combative instead of assisting when the gates and doors wouldn’t open with my key! He just kept saying I was doing it wrong which I wasn’t and that he has a work order in.. It was 93 degrees outside and I kept having to go back and forth to the office to get into my storage unit…

Despite overwhelming technical difficulties throughout the weekend, all staff members were consistently patient and accommodating to customers and managed tough interactions with grace, providing satisfactory service even to rude people. Staff went above and beyond in conflict resolution and made sure my experience was less stressful as humanly possible. Even with mix ups from corporate the 7 mile staff stepped in with accountability and not only fixed the issues but also assured me as a consumer. Quality customer care is hard to come by which is why I only deal with this particular location. The staff are welcoming and upbeat , the facility is always spotless and theres never a problem that isn’t fairly Negotiated !

During peak hours, the waiting time for assistance can be extraordinarily long, and all team members may not be trained or empowered to handle all transactions. This was actually my 2nd trip. I had come in the day before to pay my storage bill and reserve an additional storage unit, waited in line for 30 minutes, only to be told I'd have to return the following day because the team member was not able to service self-storage account matters.

The facility has roaches!! I saw them coming out of units as I moved my things out. I have never had roaches in any of my homes over the last 20 years if they show up in the next few weeks
