Rating:

.69 cents per mile for a local rental is the only thing negative. I would charge a flat fee if someone exceeded 50 miles or more.

The parking is atrocious. I tried to return a pickup truck today (so not a large vehicle), but as I pulled in to the lot, there were three customer cars already blocking all access (there is only one official parking spot and that’s handicap). I had to circle the block twice before finally parking at another property and waiting about 10 minutes before trying again. As well, there was only one representative working and it thereby slowed everything down. I arrived 40 minutes early and finally returned the truck 7 minutes before it was due.

First. I was sent to the wrong location. Had to wait over almost 2 hours to finally get my rental. Truck battery was dead. Had to wait for the battery to be charged. Back of truck was dirty. Just a bad experience.

I rented at 10 am on Sunday there was only one man on duty, there were several people needing assistance Dallas did an excellent job trying to help everyone in a timely manner.

Came in on a day that the computer system was not working correctly, but the staff did a great job getting everyone in line helped in good time. The store does need a better computer system so that the employees can do there job more efficiently. Was very satisfied with the help I received. I did have to wait an hour to be helped, but understand it was because of the computer system. Overall great experience. Was also my first time using a U-HAUL. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

All was good except when I was told that I had to drop off at 2818 location. It is hard to get two people to take the time to go all the way over there. Why can we just drop off where we picked up. I think this is not a good practice. Overall, it was quick and easy to rent.

The young man working at the drop off location is exceptional. However, he seems to be the only one ever there to do EVERYTHING. He rents vehicles, takes in returns, attaches trailer hitches and trailers, etc. So, he deserves all kinds of credit for the job he does!! This particular day of service, the customer line was short. However, most other times I have been there, the lines were long and the service slow - but, no wonder since he is the only one there (and doing an incredible job of attempting meet the needs of the customers)!! Based on my previous experiences there, I do not recommend this U-haul location. As far as cleanliness, generally the "showroom" was orderly. However, the restroom was not clean at all, and there was no toilet tissue available. Additionally, there is a sign indicating that customers should park their vehicle in a certain spot, remain in the vehicle and a customer service rep would come to the customer for vehicle return. After about 10 minutes sitting in the vehicle, I finally went inside. When I mentioned the sign outside, the customer rep replied that the sign probably needs to be taken down. I agree because that apparently is NOT the return process at this location. After a previous visit to this location, I texted the owner at the phone number posted on the wall. I requested a call back so that I could express my concerns about this location. I never received a call back. All in all, if I have a choice, I will likely continue to rent from another location.
