I’ve been using the mobile pick up. I like that it saves a ton of time waiting in line. I typically have to wait a very long time in line at a uhaul store for traditional pickup. It’s alittle confusing when you complete the mobile steps and it says go inside to get the key. Specifically, do I still have to wait in line? That would defeat the purpose for me. Maybe a sign at the end of the counter for mobile pickup would make the process more clear and maintain the ease and speed of pickup for mobile users.

No one told me about the mileage limit. We only drove the U-Haul from the store to load up and then to our new location and back to the drop off.

The location was really busy and the two attendants could not keep up. Little things like not knowing where to find the key for a receiver hitch lock for another customer's rental took forever to resolve.(they wound up sending that customer away to cut the padlock himself).

The electronic check in was taking 3 times what it would have taken to check in with a person on location. It was inconvenient and friating to the point I had the person on location cancel that order and check me in personally. Get rid of electonic check in if the people working in the chat room aren't trained to do their job.

The drop off location was a mess. Wasn’t sure which way to pull in because there was so much equipment everywhere. I dropped the trailer off on the 18th at 1 pm and the individual told me he would send me the email in a couple of hours. Against my better judgement, I agreed and left. 24 hours and 2 phone calls later I finally received the email containing the final receipt showing that I did in fact drop off the trailer.

I originally ordered a 5x10 uhaul trailer and when I went to pick it up in Houston they only had a 5x8. I was informed that due to me selecting a Houston location my trailer was downsized cause they don't carry 5x10 trailers around there. Due to this all 6x12 trailers in Houston were already reserved thus I had to drive a 4 hour round trip to this location to get a trailer before driving a 16 drive back to Indiana. On top of that the forgot to add the moving blankets which I ordered and paid for. I usually don't have much trouble with uhaul, as a college student I use them about 3 times a year, however after this experience I am tempted to see if I could rent one somewhere else or just buy my own trailer.

The guy who was the “owner” was rude and disrespectful. He threatened to reverse my contract because i made a statement about being forced to purchase an adapter for the trailer. Don’t think that’s how you keep business especially if your the “owner”

The lot is complete chaos. U-Haul needs to move to a bigger location on a less busy intersection. When I tried to pick up my truck using the app, the message I got was that there was no equipment assigned to my reservation. I had to get an employee (Joseph) to assist me. Joseph was very helpful but the rest of the experience was bad. The rep who verified my DL/photo and then asked for a second contact phone number did not tell me that she was going to try to call him right then, When he didn't answer her call (because he didn't recognize it), I had to get out of the app to call him to tell him to pick up the rep's phone call. Then, when I tried to resume where I was in the app, it started me over! I was on the step where you report damages when it finally caught me up and took me to the verification step. As a result, I probably duplicated some damage photos and hopefully didn't lose any! Then, when I was instructed on how to get the key, I had to get it from Joseph anyway so it was pointless. I ended up being more inconvenienced than if I had just checked in with the rep at the store in person. I won't be using the app again.

First of all when you offer $19.99 a day local make sure you add exclusion apply + mileage. I rented a truck for 2 hours costing me $49.43 less than a full day. I won't rent from Uhaul again!! Treat your good customers like you care for them or Not!!!

We had to wait almost 40 minutes in line. Poor guy at the counter was very polite, and working very hard, but should have had some help. College town, weekend, close to summer graduation, staffing should have been in accordance. Again, young man at the counter did a great job.
