Best customer service I have ever received at a Uhaul facility! Both employees were kind and helpful answered the questions I had and hooked up the trailer in a timely manner. If I or one of kids is in need of Uhaul in the future we will definitely use this location even if it costs a more due to the distance.

This was my worst Uhaul experience to date. The staff I dealt with at pick up and drop off, but especially pick up were highly unpleasant, abrasive and on the verge of unprofessional. The trailer was a mangled mess. I had to pry a fender up to get it off the tire. I commented on the condition of the trailer to which I received a glare. I will no longer be using this location, I should have known better the other location on Texas Ave is far superior.

The reason for an above average rating versus an excellent rating is that the gentleman that booked my reservation used his PERSONAL cell phone to take a picture of my drivers license for the contract. I was a bit apprehensive allowing him to use his PERSONAL cell phone to acquire my personal information. Please improve on this very important aspect.

I'm not pleased over the terms/agreement over placing fuel back in the vehicle past the full limit and not being reimbursed for that. I'm wanting to take this up with the manager or owner of this location.

I still have not heard back from them about a refund for purchasing the tire. Left a copy of invoice for tire and every time I call, they tell me they will let the manager know and I still have not gotten any correspondence back. Overall poor and disappointing. The tire cost almost as much as the rental.

Rented from Penske 2 weeks earlier who never held my reservation, made me travel to other locations, and overcharged me! U-Haul will ALWAYS be my choice!

Both employees that had helped me picking up the trailer I rented and when I returned it were very helpful and knowledgeable.

We were informed that the drop-off location was 5 miles down the road from the pick-up (from my delivery point, I had about a one mile trip to bring it back). The only reason I can discern why this was done was that the pick-up location was brim full of trucks and they needed to move their trucks to other locations. I was caught off-guard by this - everything was local and I had simply never seen this situation. In short you had me doing your dirty work - moving your trucks off-site. I got turned around trying to find the drop-off location, and my wife had to drive an extra 10 miles to pick me up. there was no one at the drop-off location - no one to check to see that I had filled the tank, no one for me to point out the bug spattered window that was the condition of the truck when I picked it up. You should have paid me $100 for my trouble, or do it yourself. I will warn everyone I know about this trick, and the general shoddiness of your operation. I will use Ryder or someone else for my next project.

Costs are outrageous. It's misleading. The do everything yourself with your phone is a bit much. If you didn't have a smart phone, you wouldn't be able rent the truck. U-Haul can't even answer their phone if you have an issue without a half hour wait. Not cool!

OMG were di I start she was so so help and calm I was upset by what other location had done she stayed calmed she help me jumped my car cause battery was dead due to other location telling to leave car on while driving and just put in neutral. I want to thank the person at this location I don't remember her name but she was Amazing pls give her free lunch or something

the truck was hard to get into because there were no step to help entry/exit the cab area.even though the truck was small it needed a loading ramp.the entry/exit into the box area was to much of a step.

A lot! I have to believe the leadership starts at the top and trickles down. It was an awful experience doing business with U-haul. I will definitely being looking for another trailer company to rent from the next time I need one. Same for storage options. Take care of business U-haul! Treat your customers right!

I showed up at 8 am to pick up my rental & due to there only being 1 employee working & 8 people in front of me in line, I wasn't able to pick up my equipment until almost 9 am (8:47 am to be exact). Then when I was returning the equipment there was yet another line of people in front of me so I waited in line for another 20 minutes. I reserved the UHaul for a total of 4 hours and ended up getting charged for 2 rental periods because of waiting for over an hour for the employees to check me in & out which doesn't seem fair & like very poor customer service. I will NOT be using UHaul in the future & will pay more to have better customer experience. I would also like a refund for the additional rental charge because of the location being short staffed.

I'm glad I was only driving for a few hours. Otherwise, the drivers chair, while obviously maintained, was shot and needed to be replaced. Overall though, I was very pleased with the whole experience.

The lady at this location was excellent. Due to lost of emails during move did not get chance to reply to previous experience with U- Haul a couple of weeks ago --- your system of tracking and assignment is the most horrible and crappy system ever. I made reservation in home of Beaumont it appears that you have a poor inventory of trailers- in all of Beaumont it appears there was only 1 trailer- that individual did not return on time..sent me to another town about 40 minutes away. ph # was a fax # and site was at an abandoned building that had the trailer. was told it open at 9 it opens at 10. was told just had to go over there and pick up. but original contract cancelled.. when finally got hold of someone -was told it was not in system and he would be there at 11. drove all the way back home. try put in system for Kountze- said there was no trailer available on that day ( it was at that abandoned bld so put in a later date just so get a contract. accepted it then later said it was not available and sent me to yet another town. Called customer service told them I had made 3 trips to Kountze, lady finally agree to honor reservation refund.when tried to take back to Kountze location individual never would call back( original ph#is still a fax #). call customers service - said would let me deliver in Beaumont. went there and he said had to take it to kountze or would have to charge fee for not taking it back to original site. told him just called customer service and to call him - he would not .left trailer there - he told me to go in office to pick up receipt and walked away. it showed that i still owed money. called customer service( also improve service by hiring more people i was on hold almost every time for 20 -30 minutes - i don't have time to be on a ph for that time.was told everything was taken care of and i did not owe any money. _Customer service people I talked to were good- they are dealing with a crappy system). later on i got a text saying i had not delivered the trailer at the Beaumont location apparently the gm did not bother to show . had to call again and be on hold for ever. customer service person said would follow up and take care of. I used U-haul only because i did not have an alternative. In general I would never recommend U-Haul to any one if they could go somewhere else.
