My rental was for 4 hours and pickup time was 9:00 am due to backup of customers at store picking up you hauls I did not get my truck until 9:30 and the manager expected the truck be returned by 1:00 pm. Uhaul breached the contract by not being able to provide me my rental at 9:00 am but expects customer to honor the agreement return time.Kevin G.

Pick up was smooth, but when returning the truck, I (and two other customers that were after me) waited 25 minutes for somebody to help even acknowledge me as I stood at the counter. It took 20minutes to get the â€œreturn your truckâ€ portal to work properly. Then I had to walk two blocks to the property to scan a barcode by the door to verify my location then walk all the way back to the truck to take photos of it. I was already super pooped and chafed at this point. Staff was overworked but professional and quick. Great bang for your buck and appreciate the newer electronics in the dashboard and AC and new car smell.Steven C.

the representative at the P/U location was very helpful to me during my rental pick up. the 26ft truck, I had scheduled to rent, had not been returned by the customer who was using the truck, That I was going to be put in to. The Rep. saw my concern, as to having to wait on someone else. They re wrote me a new contract, for a 20ft truck, and I was on my way. I was totally pleased with that solution.Robert G.

I rented a U-Haul truck on 7/23/22 and a van on 7/24/22. Additionally, I reserved utility dollies each time. Unfortunately, in both dates the utility dollies were not available upon pick up even though the reservation said they were (reservation was placed in advance). Furthermore, I placed an online order for two furniture dollies. Upon arrival to the store, I was notified only one was available. Again, I was discouraged and my moving plans negatively impacted. During neither of these 3 separate occasions the U-Haul staff attempted to resolve the incovenience or find an alternate solution, which was further frustrating. Lastly, each time I reserved my truck/van online, I preceded to call the store for the purpose to get information on current equipment availability. When calling the store at 2813 Texas Ave, College Station, TX 77840, I was immediately was placed on hold without any greeting or explanation. I waited for 15 min before the call disconnected. I called once more to yet experience the same lack of greeting/explanation while been placed on hold. This time, I waited 30 min before hanging up. I called after 15 min, same lack of professionalism and waited for another 30 min before hanging up. It is my opinion that a couple of things could be improved by U-Haul. First, the improve online inventory so it accurately reflects the store real, most updated inventory. Second, although call holds are expected and part of the business, particularly understandable during busy days, it is unacceptable to place a customer on hold without any explanation and further aggravate this lack of unprofessionalism with repeatedly insane long waits. It is fair to say that under these circumstances the U-Haul over the phone services are unaccessible and virtually non existent. Lastly, I would encourage the U-Haul staff to consider going beyond their minimalist approach to completing tasks and exercise above average attempts to serve each customer they encounter, especially towards resolving issues caused by U-Haul.Alfredo E.

Appeared to be understaffed. When attempting to check out the truck the only visible employee walked out of the building on a phone call. When checking in the same employee appeared to be trying to run far too many tasks at once. This is not a failure on them but on upper management.Connor M.
I rented a van for my kid to move into her apartment. For some reason she needed personal references in order to get the van. I had set it up so that she was supposed to be able to check in on the app, get the van and go. Instead she had to go inside and get the keys. She was there for an hour and they took that hour out of her moving time. Her reservation was from 9 to 3pm. She left Uhaul at 10 but didn't get that hour back and I'm sure I paid for that hour of her standing in a uhaul waiting to get keys.Leilani P.

setup my truck rental 4 months in advance. Had movers reserved for 2 hours. Got a call 15 minutes before my pickup time that the truck wasn't ready due to a flat tire was told it would be ready 8:45. Arrived at 8:45 - truck still not ready, time to pickup now moved to 10:30. I lost my movers cause they had another job scheduled at 10am. There was more than 8 trucks on the lot. Even if they had all been reserved, I believe after the first bump and being told I had movers lined up, they could have bumped someone else an hour or so. When I finally got my rental at 11:30am, there were trucks still in the same parking spots as they were at 7am. Furthermore, I know the manger was frustrated to be handling this first thing in the morning, but his tone and attitude was very rude. I've used this Uhaul location for the past 20 years. Not anymore - I'll go somewhere else from now on.Cyndi M.
