This comment has nothing to do with customer service but the vehicles themselves. Driving 2400+ miles in a 10' box truck is not my favorite thing to do. Sometime we don't have choices to move certain objects. My best suggestion would be to put cruise control in your cross country vehicles. Second option would be put some sort of blue tooth radio.

As a older customer. Not use to using Apps. We were the only customers at the time of the rental process. It was a bit confusing when we were told to go out and take pictures of the truck. I would have appreciated some help. But instead it took longer because we weren't sure if we were doing the picture process correctly. Now I would understand if they were busy with customers. We decided to return the truck in the morning. Because we were told it would be easier. They would help with the check in process. What would happen if we didn't have a cell phone to go on the App?

I received a call from Alan customer service that the truck was ready for pick up day before pick up. I arrived in the morning to pick up the truck, it was easy rental process. The only thing I had to buy was a lock from U-Haul .

The GM was very rude and unprofessional, He doesn’t have the lowest level of customer service care, I honestly don’t think this guy deserves to be a manger or even work there.

The person that handled my reservation and help with renting the trailer was absolutely amazing and did everything and more to make the process smooth and pleasant experience. The steering was slack on the truck, it felt a little less than safe on the freeway. You have to turn the wheel further than you should to get the wheels to move, so as you drift in the lane, correcting your steering would jerk the whole truck.

Upon arriving, I parked my car, turned the engine off and started to walk a few steps to peek to see if a trailer that I had reserved was there? When all of the sudden, this big black guy worker started yelling and screaming at me to move my car and not to park there!” “I told him that he didn’t have to yell at me. The worker said, because you didn’t listen to me.” I started to get in my car, when a female oriental girl told me to park on an empty parking spot. So, I did. Other than that, the office guys were amazing! That’s why I keep coming back to this location. “I’ve never experienced such disrespect from anyone from U-Haul Co. until today.”

I reserved a 20ft truck with a utility dolly and gave my card information, only to be called 1 hour before my reservation and told that the truck I was supposed to rent wasn’t available. I scrambled to get another truck from a different company (which was a financial burden and an added stress) and decided to take the 15 ft truck. When I went to pick it up I was told that the utility dolly I ordered wasn’t available because they’re on a first come first serve basis; what is the point of reserving one if they’re not going to be available? This experience has proven U-Haul to be an unreliable option for my moving needs and I won’t be a returning customer. The one redeeming quality was that the workers were nice- this is a systematic issue that needs reforming.

The truck that was assigned to me was unfortunately not the best condition; the ignition was really hard to turn the key. After a few times of trying to turn on the truck, i finally went inside and asked for help. He immediately said " yeah, it's really hard to turn the key, after a few attempts he got it to turn. He did offer $30 dollars off the final bill

The truck was a non smoking truck but smelled of stale cigarettes and had burn marks everywhere. The check engine light came on once truck was loaded and I was already on my way to Texas from California.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. They refuse to take ownership for a broken chair. They’re cheap but you get what you pay for. They are unprofessional and just rush through the whole process. I found my teak chair broken in my storage unit a month after I used them and they’re claiming it was already broken. The back leg was broken - how do you break a wood chair! Just because they’re lying and deceiving doesn't mean I am.

I was forced to go to an independent contractor called union service station in Anaheim because original U-Haul order I made at the 626 Anaheim Blvd location was not able to be completed. Someone dis not return the UHaul. Whwn Inwent to Union to pick up the other Uhaul as soon as I drove it to the gas station to fill up wirh gas, a river of gasoline started pouring from underneath the truck and I had to drive it back to union at which time they told me it looked like someone vandolized the truck by cutting the gas line the night prior , and I had to spend time on the phone with previous uhaul station to communicate the issue, go back to their station, and puck up a truck that became available. The staff were gracious and accommodating but the vandalism resulted in a serious misuse of my time, I incured double charges on the U-Haul (pending removal of extra charges for first U-Haul and gas for first U-Haul). I expect to get my refund for the first faulty rental and the gas, and that staff get recognized for doing the right thing to help me solve my problem. This whole ordeal delayed me by 7 hours.

We were provided with almost empty gas tank. Good thing it was enough for the trip we need to take. I even provided much more gas when I returned the u-haul truck. Then, the return process at the location itself... the key drop off.. the sign is so small compared to what you guys posted in your site. It would be much better if the sign is big enough for it to be noticed.

The truck was dirty and under 1/2 tank of gas. Received a new truck after about 45 minutes as the manager was not available to approve the new truck. OH AND THEY TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU INSTEAD OF A COPY OF YOUR DRIVER'S LISCENSE SUPER CREEPY CREEPY. Will never go there again. CREEPY

Spent the first twenty five minutes in a totally empty office. First truck, you rented me, had a dead battery. Second truck, you tried to give us. Was blocked in by the first. My experience was this checkout is, as we called it in the Marine Corps, a cluster**** If I'd had another location to go to easily, I would have. I couldn't use the online inspection link for my checkout because it didn't correspond to the truck.I eventually wound up with.... Which d*** near, had a empty gas tank!

There was also the first place I was scheduled to drop off on North Main Street in Orange. It was closed and there was no way to leave a message. I was way after lunch time was over. When I called U-Haul to find a different drop location I know the conversation was recorded and it was confirmed by the agent on the phone that the location should have been open for business or some kind of information posted as to when to expect it to be open. Very poor customer service.

There was an issue with my reservation when I first arrived and the staff there were able to help me out and fix it. They took care of it and even gave me a discount for the trouble. I appreciated the help everyone gave me. Would recommend them for sure.

The truck was dirty in the cap and outside. The vehicle we got has serious engine issues. When getting on fwy on ramp , the truck had a hard time changing gears. I thought it was going to die with on coming traffic. It could not pick up speed and I had to stay at 50 mph in the slow lane cause I could smell the engine. Lucky we were able to move our stuff over night but took long cause we took the streets to be safe. Not sure ill come back to this location at risk of getting same truck.

Alexis was very helpful although I had a very bad experience with management. Management would not answer his calls for help taking almost 2 hours of my time to unlock my unit. I was not able to get my unit until the following day incruing another day fee which I am not going to pay due to now being my fault

Unfortunately we were not able to get the storage size we needed so it was a hassle to load a trailer and our belongings not fit in the storage unit. However, Jose and Kevin were amazing! They were extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond for my husband and I. Great customer service!

This is by far the worst experience I ever have had!!! The facility is so dirty and the unit was filthy had a huge rat trap inside no lock included, looked as though the unit has been broken into recently. There are homeless people, and gang. Members lurking about . I am going there tomorrow to ask for a refund and gather my things and move them some where else. I'm appalled especially since I had to pay $137 for one months rent and

All was well with the unit, it was clean and had no issues while driving. Tow dolly functioned properly except for one small issue. One of the chain links that is tied around the car frame was hooked to the dolly end to end. The chain link was also twisted and tense, so I could not unhook it from the dolly to wrap on the car frame. I used an extra strap to tie the frame with the chain. Overall small issue, still happy with the service.

The truck was excellent. The staff at the storage unit was also excellent. The facility itself needs a little upgrading. Needs more carts on the Upper Floor to move things down the hallway. Other thank you again for making this experience just a little easier. But I would not recommend that facility. On the count of no elevator and the ceilings are very short made it a little more difficult especially since I am a 6 ft tall man. Have a great day thanks again

Everything was fine, except for the days that I wanted to close out my account. On one day, after waiting 20 minutes for the gentleman to finish fumbling with the printer, I was told he couldn't close my account, and that I would have to return the following day. On the second occasion, I waited for a while - even though the office was open, no one was in the store, or anywhere to be seen on the grounds.
