We were given an extra 2 days which we did not end up using returning the vehicle in 1/8/2025. On 1/11/2025 we received a collection notice for another $46.00. Stay on top of documents/monies due and monies paid.

LUCIA NI ordered my equipment do 65th st pickup. Uhaul called me the day before to say my truck was at this Arden location and my car transport trailer was at a different location. I show up at this Arden location to get my truck. Then I drove to the other location to pick up my auto transport. They say they don’t have it and it’s actually at the Arden location and I had to drive back to get it. I am very disappointed in the communication, planning, and customer support. I wasted three hours waiting in line and driving around to track down my equipment. Based on this, I would recommend everyone avoid uhaul.

AARON CThis was a nightmare rental for me. First of all my original truck was supposed to be in Elk Grove and I went to pick it up the keys were not able to be located . The sense it was after hours you all sent me to the Arden location which is over 20 miles away so I ended up spending an additional hour getting there and getting my truck it was also a huge inconvenience for me to drop it off and have a family member meet me there and drive me back home to Elk Grove

Chandler MPick Up was late and there was a debate amongst employees as to whether there was a two hour window as originally promised or if the day of the pick up was the only guarantee. I checked out of rental property based on time window originally provided and ended up waiting in street for 3 hours for truck to arrive.

JAY EThe trailer we rented was in terrible condition. Tie bars were missing, making it impossible to tie down contents securely. One set of brake lights also did not work.
CURTIS LOne of my UBoxes had mold growing on the wood and subsequently my items became moldy during transit. The source of the mold was clearly coming from the UBox itself when I lifted the paper that was on top of the bottom of the crate. The mold has completely ruined 2 of my items and I have filed a claim with the insurance provider. I would not use UHaul again for a move, this is unacceptable.
Allison TFacility has a good location, easy to access. Storage areas are clean well-lit and have clean bathrooms. The new system of cart checkout was great and ensured carts were handy and available. Staff was always friendly and helpful when needed. Corey helped me out with accessing unit once which I appreciated. Overall, a good experience, would recommend.

DENNIS BUpon arrival, no employees were anywhere to be found. I parked the truck in the equipment dropoff location and started walking around the facility, both inside and outside, shouting "hello" only to find nobody around. After about 10 minutes of walking, it was only then that I discovered that 2 individuals previously standing outside (in full view of me dropping off the truck and walking around shouting) were employees. One appeared to be the manager/owner of this facility (his voice sounded very similar to the greeting message on the phone). Upon finally finding someone to assist me, we walked outside to the truck and started the return process. I let them know about the tension cable that had broken/fallen off and the owner became incredibly confrontational with me. He started raising his voice, telling me I'm going to owe a lot of money, and even though I told him this was clearly an issue with maintenance and was standard wear and tear, he insisted "that is just your opinion" and he was very accusatory about how I was the one that broke it... Next, he started accusing me of not refilling the tank of gas and it wasn't until I showed him photographic proof that the gas gauge was in exactly the same position as when I checked it out (just slightly below 1/2) that he finally stopped being confrontational for the rest of the process. I don't know if he was just having a bad day, but this was my first interaction with him and I felt incredibly uncomfortable throughout a majority of it. Needless to say, I will never be going back to this location again.

ROSALIND COk so the U-Haul truck I rented was stolen from infront of my house. The insurance didn’t cover any items that was on the truck that got stolen. And I can’t get my money back u til they find the truck. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Plus it would nice for notifications if we're outside storage units were available I really didn't need the indoor storage

When we informed the manager he did the least to help us by simply filling out a report and sending it in. He got very defensive when we started to ask questions about why not cameras saw the breaking take place. In the office it says that cameras are seeing each storage unit.No follow up with us to see how things are going and then a refusal by the insurance company to reimburse us for our losses. I will never use U-haul storage again and tell people to stay away from you because you don't care.

Anthony W | Overall ExperienceThe fact they know the door doesn’t open even if you swipe your card to access your storage doesn’t work and it’s been like that for a while and you have to wait for someone that works there to come open it is kinda disappointing It’s a huge waste of time what if someone was on a short notice and needed to get into their unit really fast and leave and they had to wait 10-15 minutes for the staff to arrive to open the door? As much time as they have to leave notices on every body’s storage unit reminding them their late They need to do something about the door not opening up
tyler k | Overall ExperienceThere was a poster in the window of the storage facility that had a qr code, as advertised it stated that it can be used to complete application for securing a storage unit. However when I used it and created a profile, it started charging me for a service I did not request. It appeared entirely unrelated to uhaul so idk why it was there. This is not related to any other aspect of my experience, however this snafu did cost me quite a bit of money over time, as it has been charging me approx. $40 monthly and I'm still trying to straighten that out, so approximately 6 months give or take that's been happening.

My request to move out was 10 days after I paid the full rate and I was offered zero money back. It's already $175 a month for rent and now you want to keep 2/3rds of my money? Why give you my business at all? Uhaul has definitely gone downhill over the years. At least give me back the money for days I'm not using the storage unit.

If I ran the place I would do everything to help my customers didn't phase him a bit and the girl that works there had to different reasons why they put a lock on it first she said it was open then she said my payment was denied that was not true cause I paid vet. 600.00 on the 5th they bill on the 1st. They never notified me at all they have my number and email if It was open I know it was locked my lock was still on it. there was some kind of Slim Jim up the side of the wall when she removed the lock she pull it out. Don't let the card sliding and alarm setting fool you. I believe It was an inside job I know it was.

I went in the next day to the office and waited for 20 minutes for anyone to show up, it ended up being the manager who was on his phone the whole interaction. Worst place, do not rent here. The location on Glenrose was wayyy better
