Typical service received at this particular location has always been subpar. The reps either have an attitude or do not follow through with customer requests. Equipment is forgotten or unkept. I have always experienced some sort of inconvenience at this location whether it's having to come back for equipment that was supposed to be in truck, being charged extra for something that was not explained or claimed would not be charged for or a snide remark from a rep because I have complained.Margeaux L.

The counter service men did not help at all. The equipment I pid for was not in the truck. He wasn't clear with the location of the vehicle and kept helping other customers because the other staff with him didnt know how to fix someone booking at a different location. Kept going back and forth to get the keys, find the truck, go back in to get my own equipment I paid for (dolly, furniture pads, boxes, etc) and it was an awful experience. Your service sucks all around, period. You were late to drop off the boxes, late to pick them up. When we called to ask where TF they were after they were 4 hours late the lady on the phone just kept saying "Well they're probably running late and I'm off at 5, so...." like "I'm off the clock and that's not my problem." Not only have you lost a customer for life but I will actively be telling everyone I know how terrible of an experience this was. I'll be using any service except yours, even if it costs me more money because you're not worth the headache and 'extra' intangible costs of doing business with this company.ian C.

The Arden location was the 3rd location I was directed to in the 3 days since I made the reservation. The guy who assisted me came back from break wreaking of Marijuana, had a very difficult time using the computer, could not find a drop off location in SEATTLE for us and extended our reservation and use by a day! Even though I corrected him three times. Costing me an extra days rent.David V.

I like the location and my unit never got tampered with but some of the people renting units from here might be leaving in the unit and the friends they would bring around looked very sketchy. I never came along because I didn't feel save at times. I do feel bad for the person cleaning because people leave alot of garbage around.Yolanda S.

Horrible customer service, manager and staff did not want to help at all. The truck was having its battery charged when we tried to check it out, couldn't find someone to help unplug it, then when we did they clearly didn't want to be working. Could not locate the keyS, asked a question and the employee said â€œI don't know anything, I just work hereâ€. Truck check engine light came on during the drive after we picked it up. Spent over an hour on hold with calling customer service. Overall the experience was poor and we will not be renting from uhaul again, especially this location.Anthony S.

I was scheduled to pick up at the Florin Road location at 8am on September 1, 2022. When we arrived timely we were told the 26' truck was not available. We were then told to pick up at the Arden location which took us a long time to drive since rush hour traffic on the freeway. We were told at the Florin location we would be given a discount on the rental, mileage and receive a gift card. The Arden location said there was no discounts applied to my rental. This location change resulted in my paying movers an extra hour since we were delayed over an hour and a half. I received no call nor text to advise the Florin location would not have the truck. Only reason why I wouldn't recommend or even go back is because of the GM , she has an extremely poor attitude and is very disrespectful .. I might even use a different company next time I need to move or rent a truck - seeing as she's the General Manager and she could be at any location at any given time . She was rude and had a horrible attitude , my pick up was scheduled for 8am and it was way too early to be having a poor attitude , like she woke up with a shitty attitude and brought it to work - she had horrible customer service & zero manners . She was a nightmare to work with . The man who did my truck return a few hours later , however was amazing .. he didn't see me right away - but once he did he took care of my return quickly, efficiently and was very respectful.Rochelle A.

I would like more advanced notice of when the box was being delivered. Since it was going to an apartment that I did not live at yet, I couldn't wait there for the entire day. I was living 20 minutes away and was only given 10 minutes notice earlier than the 9 to 4 timeframe I was given. It was fine because a neighbor was there to accept it but to help avoid delay for drivers, as well, there should be a more narrow time frame or notify us about an hour beforehand.Henry F.

While the storage unit itself was never a problem, the issues I was very disappointed with was the lack of safety and upkeep of the groundskeepers. There was glass, nails, metal clips, screws, all types of foreign objects everywhere and twice Ive had flat tires after leaving this facility and the repairman has pulled chunks of glass and a screw bolt out of my tires. Several occasions I told the staff they should fix this problem. I can only imagine people who rent your trucks having FLAT TIRE issues on the road because of negligence at this facility. This is why I wouldn't recommend to anyone. You shouldn't have to pay for storage and damage to your vehicles too. Also two increases in less than a year was concerning especially when told that you're keeping up with your competitors pricing. Well it didn't take long to find multiple storage units facilities with much lower prices and clean grounds. I know GREED is the MAIN culprit in the world we live in. Will never use U-Haul again. The amount of fuck ups this location and the Georgia location has done has convinced me it's the company in general and not a specific location. Constantly getting hung up on. Transfered to different(wrong) departments each time I call. Customer services over the phone, at a specific location, and the live chat don't go anywhere. No one knows anything so you always get transferred. Can never get a call back besides one sweet lady here in GA. Why make a drop off and pick up window time when you can even deliver it within that time frame? MONEY WASTED hiring movers to be here at a time when it's estimated our things would arrive and when we sent out, just to not have the containers here. Yet again. Arden was a shit show, and GA was only better in the fact one costumer service rep was embarrassed for your company's shit show, and the kind delivery drivers. The guy at the counter was awesome but uhual service is the worst, the second time i experience this, it will be the last time. I booked a month in advanced, they called day before that I would have to drive 150 miles to pick up truck. Totally unacceptable, the rep on the phone was not doing job right I had to tell them multiple times what to keep searching for and I was able to get the truck I wanted within the same city. Then, the pick location said I could return it at an alternate location for a discount, it says on my contract also, but when I returned it the return location had no clue how to handle that kind of contract, again, I had to walk them through on how to figure it out, not my job. In front of the rep I had to call traffic center, that person also didnt know what to do, but I think they did and was just trying to get me to go somewhere else because she put me hold and came back and on my speaker phone told the return location employee what to do. The key card instructions were very clear. Being able to back into a bay with our UHaul truck made unloading easy. Two things I would change...I noticed the bay door heights were different before I drove in. It would have been better if we had been warned to avoid hitting the top. I went by 4-5 days before my move in to make sure they would have my 10X15 unit for me and I was told that I would. They even showed me on their map where the location would be. I got there Sunday morning with a moving truck and staff to unload the truck and went to the office to set up everything. I was then told they didn't have my unit. They had rented it to someone else. So here I have everything with me, and they don't have a space for me. I had to have the movers jam everything into a 10X10 unit. The stupid thing on the U-Haul staff's part is that they had my paperwork along with my credit card on file there, there was a reason I went by days earlier to make sure everything would be ready, and it wasn't. Total incompetence by the whole U-haul staff who didn't seem to care. With movers it was a cost to me of just short of $700 and to not have what I asked for not available was horrible on their part. All in all they are very sure to collect my money without any problem. The stupid thing is that I went to give them my credit card and she told me she didn't need it because she had it on FILE!!! This facility manager needs to work on their customer service especially their manager. Is someone from this facility called me abou told me about my storage unit being empty and when I explain to them that I need to check on the unit before I officially relieve the unit back to them. Is that same person called my wife and asked her if the unit needed to be closed out. To me that is something a child would do when they're not getting the answer of that they wanted. My only criticism is that as a new customer, I was not allowed to choose a storage unit closer to the front of a very large warehouse, because I was told by the manager that showed me spaces that the units at the very back (furthest walk from entrance) had to be rented out first. I think that the customer that rent earlier than later should get the better choice of unit location, not the opposite. I just didn’t like the fact that there was drug users around in the area and the restrooms weren’t clean as they should’ve been. Not that it’s anyone’s problem but I only used the storage for three days and I wish the Bill was split some how since I technically didn’t use for December much. Kayle was wonderful. she did make it easy. But I have another issue with another U Haul. We got Trucks with not one drop of gas. We were told we would get a $70 credit on each truck. Never happened!!! then the Second day with the second truck it started to rain and the truck Leaked. I cannot get any help. I was told that I would get my money back!! Not happening.!! I do not wish to go Thru all the stuff you go thru to get money for damages. I will accept the refund on my truck rentals and I will call it even. thank You so much ... I had a reservation they couldn't find, the size I reserved was not available, way too small and the general manager kept telling me it was a 10x10x10 it most certainly was NOT. So of course I had to rent a larger space at a higher amount, what was I to do with a truck full of furniture sitting on the truck outside and a truck waiting to be returned.
