The estimated fuel on my contract was off by 1/4 tank so I used their customer friendly app to update the information and even took a picture of the gauge. It was half way between 1/2 and 3/4. When I got my receipt with the upcharge for the mileage overage, I was also hit with 2 gallons of gas. The receipt even showed a little fuel gauge representation and it was spot on half way between 1/2 and 3/4. Really?!?!? This was after the guy that checked me back in told me the gas was fine but we went over on miles. Unbelievable! What a scam!SCOTT S.

Why did Uhaul put that its $19.99 but when you go rent a car they charge different. I was charge $99 a day and I fill like that was way to much to be charged for one day, people can go rent cars in Uhaul but I will ever again go back and rent the car wit UhaulThabani D.

Unfortunately there was only 1 person helping in the morning as several people were checking in with me to rent equipment, so things moved slowly. The individual helping to connect the trailer to my SUV had his jeans hanging down below his rear end showing his red underwear (or shorts???) below. Not a very pleasant appearance. Upon returning trailer later that day, the same rep told me I was all set and didn't need to do anything else to check in. The next day I get a call from that local UHAUL asking where the trailer was, I told them it was dropped off to same area it was picked up from and at least my rental was closed out but there are opportunities for improvement here as you can see.Scott T.

Pick up was fairly simple, after the hassle of making a reservation a week early only to be called the day before telling me the size truck I needed wasn't available. Had to drive 15 miles out of the way to pick it up and could only return it to this location, which was 30 miles away from the destination, on top of 2 trips in the smaller truck they gave me. And to end it after a long day driving back and forth, the lot to return the truck was jam packed and unorganized.MATTHEW N.

Have enough staff to help customers. One lady was working three computers helping customers at once which is crazy. She deserves a raise and they should hire more people to accommodate customers. Also the computer system for UHaul needs to be improved, everywhere I went I was told they weren't expecting me, even after I had called customer service to confirm my reservation. It seems like customer service, and UHaul locations have zero communication. They should be on the same system or something, but it was the worst disconnect I've ever experienced with a company.Christian O.

Had a reservation- arrived on time. Waited over 50 minutes for my truck. Truck was very dirty- not just dirty but filthy. Tank was on empty. I asked if I would even have enough gas to get to a gas station. Wasn't a great experience to start. I only rented the truck to move a mattress and frame- Tire pressure service light kept flashing, fuel tank cap was broken, hand brak release was broken- generally really beat up truck. Came back with the gas level slightly under quarter and u-haul nickle and dimed me over the fuel credit. Staff seemed disorganized, unprepared and didn't take pride in their work. Yes or no answers here are not adequate. For example, my storage space was clean enough, but light not working, so it was pitch black inside. The staff did their best to provide a substitute battery light, but it was not properly maintained. Also, I was not aware that the space was down a long flight of stairs, no elevator, no ramps for hand trucks. Very disappointed with that.
