Overall, U-Haul needing to talk to some random contact person in order for me to rent a truck is horrible. We held up the line , had to make almost 7 phone calls before someone answers a random call from U-HAUL. Also, you guys owe me a free rental. Screwed me because I checked out a truck at 11pm after hours, abd did t have it back 8 hours later at 7am. You think I'm moving furniture in the middle Of the night? 24 hours is a days rental should cost ONLY!!! Today's rental had almost zero gas in it, what if I had ran out on the way to fill it up? I'm sure you would have left me On the side of the highway. Calling a 800 number that no one would answer. Sorry you had to read this but, You asked for my feedback. The guy at U-Haul was the best. I wish someone else rented trucks in as many locations as U-Haul, I would definitely go there instead.

The girl at the desk tried to charge me a fuel surcharge when it clearly states if truck has over 1/4 of tank not such charge would be needed. She spoke with management and they confirmed I was correct but she never once apologized for wasting my time or the fact she was wrong. I assumed she was new and just trying to do her job but might need more training. Other than that everything was good.

Honor what other uhaul representatives and customer service workers say they are going to do. I am very dissatisfied with my experience and the handling of my issues after. I cannot get anyone to email back to get it resolved. Worst experience I have EVER had with uhaul and we have used uhaup for moving for several years.

Everyone, especially the man that helped us with the trailer (sorry, I am horrible with names) was awesome. There are several choices nearby and this location had the only motorcycle trailer but I will go back for anything else because of their inventory and helpfulness. Great people!

Have equipment ready when people get there to pick it up would be nice and also not having to go all over the place to find a truck with your company to use when we've reserved one At your lot and it was not available we went there twice and it was not available so so we were sent to another lot to pick it up and it took forever to get them in gear also the one that we were assigned to had a dead battery.

This is the second time I rented a truck from this location where the truck had only 1/4 tank of gas when picked up. These should be leased out with full tanks. Very inconvenient. I won't use this location again.

After I made the reservation, I had to call them to find out where to picked up the truck. I found put they didnt have a truck , I would have to drive a box truck. This was unprofessional, inconvenient, and frankly made me ver mad.

I ordered this U-Haul a month prior and they said the day before my move, I will be contacted by 6pm. Well a week came and I was getting scared because I did not know where I was picking up my U-Haul and what time and they sent me to the scheduling team. They assured me that my truck would be available and I would have it that night, Thursday 21st. That day I called two different times to confirm and they said I could pick it up at 9:45pm using my app. 4 hours later at 5:45pm I get a voicemail stating that I couldn't pick up my U-Haul because that location closes at 6pm and so they are giving my truck to the next person. I called the lady back and she rudely has an argument with me. I was livid. This business sucks and y'all really made me lose over $400 and no one could do anything for me.

Make it easier for the customer to contact support. When a customer has their card locked, forgets and tries to rent a U-Haul truck, they are permanently denied to use that card. Even if they unlock the card. Having support more easily accessible would prevent locked cards being as aggravating.

When I ordered this truck I asked for a ramp. When I picked up the truck I didn't even look to verify because I figured I would have to check behind something I ordered. It also had a very strong cigarette smoke smell and I was embarrassed to have my staff in it. It did not have a ramp and it made the job that we were doing extremely more difficult than if I just got what I ordered. I rented this truck for a catering offsite, and we ended up having to pick up hotboxes, carts and items and lift them in and out of the truck. When returning the gentleman I spoke with stated “it wasn't in the notes and the 10ft trucks don't have a ramp. He did discount my mileage, for my “inconvenience”

even though i reserved truck & storage i had to wait a hour because to check in since i could not check in with phone. got charged 3 times on my card then could get explaination locally so had to call in 800 u haul to get correct explaination of bill. phone rep on monday was excellent and need to train others on better customer service experience. hopefully this weekend will be better experience when i have to interact with them again sadly.

Fix your app. When picking up, it asked me to add a contact and take a picture of their passport. Not only am I not going to give you a picture of someone else's passport, how would I do that standing outside your store? If you need me to give you information, do that when I set the reservation, not when picking up. Also, when trying to use the app on return, it froze taking a picture of the dash--twice. The app has been worse than useless for picking up and dropping off. A waste of time and patience.

Not only did I have to wait over an hour to pick up an already scheduled uhaul, I was unable to check the truck back in after usage using the 24/7 instructions and I was overcharged!! I had to call in and wait an hour just to be transferred and wait another hour to get my refund due to error when processing.

I had to get the 12 packing tubs at the Columbus location because the uhaul in my area. Snellville. Ga, didn't have any for over an hour drive away. This was the second time they were out in Snellville. Thus meant me driving back to Columbus, because you require they be returned where rented. Policy stinks!

Well when the truck is not ready at time you suppose to have it , then apologise and make sure time gets added back on the back end. I am small business owner and I 100% fully understand the labor shortage. Aklso the app would not allow my pictre to return it back. I could never get past the picture of Fuel odometer. and it wa clear and everything. Finally had to go inside to do it.

Customer service sucked, but we got on our way. the strap on the car hauler was worn out and kept coming loose. We had to stop every 30 min and tighten the strap. We drove thru the night so getting on and off exits and being roadside to tighten strap was a nightmare. Two times the strap had completely come off the tire. (drivers side)

The mobile app wouldn't allow me to upload the picture of the gas and mileage; it was roughly 10:00 pm when I dropped the truck off at this site. after 6 failed attempts with this app, I left the vehicle there and dropped in the keys in the drop-off box. the next morning I tried calling the box road location to confirm my return, the UHAUL call service gives no option to connect me to that specific location. I live 40 minutes away and had to drive back to the location just to speak with someone to confirm. thankfully the team member was nice and helpful.

This site made changes to the reservation made through the national 800 number and those changes nearly made the movers screw up the dates. Also, when I went in person originally to reserve the vehicle, the rep on site put little effort into making the best offering for me. Fortunately I called the 800 number to ask a question and the rep there consolidated my order and made suggestions that saved me time and money. I wish the Box Rd folks were as knowledgeable or dedicated. To the question above as to whether I would recommend the location, the answer is more of a yeah, but only if going to another location is not doable.

Only one man was serving customers. Manager showed after I had been standing in line for more than 30 min. Same employee who waited on the customers went out and prepped the trailer for hookup. This was an outstanding employee, but customers should have been waited on much quicker. This has often been a place I received outstanding service. A was let down this time but it was not because of that employee who took responsibility seriously.

The service was good. Appreciate the help. The truck was a horrible drive. Shook so bad when empty. Brake maintenance light stayed on. When I returned the truck I got a very quick check in. They did have 4 or 5 returns still in the return line.

I reserved my uhaul truck a week prior. The day of my reservation I go to the location and my 26 ft truck is not there. No solution was given the storage manager was rude and unsympathetic. I had to call the corporate line and was stuck with a 6x12 trailer. This is unacceptable, i reserved a truck and was not given one or an explanation as to why the truck was unavailable. Next time I will not be using Uhaul as my moving truck service.
