This made me go over mileage but U-Haul made it right. I love U-Haul

The incline into the facility is crazy and makes it very difficult to roll your carg to your car, I may have given 2 or 3 star review but Sandra definitely ruined that when she yelled at me over the phone for no reason on the day I moved out.

The man that checked me back in later that day did it efficiently. Overall, a great experience in spite of some nasty person who called in to complain that she did not have to move her vehicle (it was parked where it was blocking U-Haul trucks). Hence, when you are waiting in line and one call after another is answered, there's just no sense of certainty as to when you will be called to the desk. I don't know what the solution is – have a separate person answering calls?
DANIEL LMy problem has nothing to do with the location, the people there were fine, my problem has everything to do with the U-Haul app. I downloaded the app for the “quicker, easier way to rent a U-Haul” That app is useless. I spent an hour trying to get approval for my rental. Using that app is a complete waste of time;?even the workers at the location said it’s nothing but problems. Horrible experience! Go in during the working hours and deal directly with a person, NEVER use the app!

A lot of items were damaged with large holes chewed through them although they were inside heavy-duty plastic storage containers. Most of them were new bedding and clothing items. Picture frames were eaten. Items were also mildewed. When I first rented the unit, I noticed a black bait box in it. I guess I should have gone on a monthly basis to throw rat poison inside the unit. I thought I would only be renting the unit a few months, but I was diagnosed with cancer and my plans had to change. I paid rent for 22 months. I left on Jan.18, 2024. My rent would have been due on Feb.4, 2024. I rented a truck from them to move out. I asked Brad what I needed to do to end the contract as I was removing everything. He said that Ms. Slyvia would see it in the morning and take care of noting it. I swept the floor before I left. When I returned the truck to a different location that same day, the office was closed and I had to notify them by email. Then I called the 800 number to make sure everything was okay. The woman I spoke with was told about the condition of the unit and that items had been ruined. I said that I hoped I didn't bring any rodents home with me. She said she would pass the message up to management, and someone would call me. No one has contacted me. My rent was by auto payment on the 5th of every month. They had the gall to email me 2 days ago to remind me of my upcoming payment withdrawal. I spent a lot of money to store these items, and I thought they would be safe. I'm very disappointed, bur if I ever need to use any storage unit again, I know I will bait it myself. I rented a pod from another company for over a year and never had one problem. Nothing was damaged by rodents, roaches or rain. Nothing was ruined by any means.

Our card was overcharged, reimbursed, charged, reimbursed, then charged again. We FINALLY spoke with the GM, that day, he had an attitude. He was supposed to call us LAST MONDAY, still hasn't called us about the issues if that day, the fixed price of THEM giving us TWO units, or overcharging us! If the U-Haul on Central had the services we needed, we would have NEVER went here! I wouldn't recommend THIS U-haul if the services were FREE!
