The U-Haul representative was professional, patient, and helpful. The rental process was quick and easy. Truck was ready, clean, almost brand new, and the tank was full.

The manager is NOT customer friendly. If you have an issue with the vehicle, he does not show concern to fix the things. Very arrogant. This guy should NOT be a manager. I have been using U-Haul for over 25 years and have never experienced what happened at the Causeway location. The girl checking in just wanted to BE DONE!

Vehicle was not ready as promised. Store Manager walked away when I approached the counter and said “she can help you”. She was in training and unsure about the process. The manager then proceeded to unpack boxes. I asked for a vehicle in good shape as I would be driving on the interstate. The truck issued to me was a piece of junk! Trying to hang on to the steering wheel was like trying to ride a bucking bronco for the first time. The AC smelled like an ashtray and I am allergic to smoke. I shared the comments when I turned in the vehicle and the person just said OK and did not make any attempt to do anything to try and correct the wrong or the way I was treated. Next time I need anything offered by this store I will actively seek an alternative source. Just my 2 cents! This location is TERRIBLE and that is the nicest thing I can say !

I was charged an extra day I only had the truck for 5 hrs. I paid 81.00. Then the next day I was charged an extra 70.00. Spoke with a female employee. She stated she would have the charged reversed. Then another employee called me the next day & stated that I would only be reimbursed 53.00 I said no I need to be reimbursed the 70.00 bc I did not use it 2 days. Finaly after threatening to go to small claims court they called me back again & said they would reimburse me the 70.00. I will wait & see if the reimbursement does come thru in the following days. Fill the tank before renting to customers or take an accurate measure of the gas tank. Clerk misrepresented the level of gas in the vehicle, and we were subsequently charged for gas upon return even though we filled the tank to the same level.

It took 30 minutes to pick up the truck. My contract said I have the truck for 5 hours. The office attendant said that it was rebooked for the afternoon so we had to bring it back in 3 hours. Since we didnt get the truck timely we had 2 1/2 hours total with the truck. Didn't finidh the move b/c we ran out of time.

I Purchased a car and called this location to ask if a car transport was available. I had already called two other locations with negative results. As I was on hold I decided to make the 15 min drive to just see. I was on hold the entire time. I walked into the store to find the attendant talking to a friend about this past weekend's festivities. When she was processing my paperwork, she took a picture of my ID with her personal phone. Not sure if it was an app for work but nonetheless, I can't validate if it's on her phone or not. I am active duty (24 years) I have been at a lot of U-Haul locations. This is by far the least professional I have been to.

Website needs some review. I was not happy they I selected one store and it changed it to another. You used to be able to select a store and see available items. I find the website difficult to maneuver and frustrating to use. The store was average except I booked a 24 hr rental and was pressured to bring it back early because they needed the inventory. Which worked out fine but I feel like I should have only been charged the time I used it when I brought it back early to help uhaul.

The manager threatened me that he was going to sue me for $185,000 for his truck. He told me it was his personal truck. I made an error by keeping the truck that was scheduled for in town. I thought I could modify my reservation at anytime. The truck broke down on my way back to New Orleans to return the truck. The manager made my life a living hell.

After using uhaul many times over the years this was the best of those experiences. It wasn't a big deal to me but others it may be but the mileage was one mile higher and the gas tank was 1/8 off than what sign in paperwork claimed.

When I got to my Destiination the contents of my belongings were wet from a leak in the roof of the truck. I paid for the insurance when I reserved so now I am dealing with the insurance company It has been three weeks so far and I cannot get a phone call back from the insurance company.

I had an incredibly bad experience. Staff here don't even know the MEANING of Customer Service. The absolute worst staff I encountered here were management and someone from the district office. There are a lot of self-storage options. I would never, never, NEVER recommend this one.
