Unprofessional conversation between 3 Hispanics and talking about didn’t do sh** yesterday while the other did all the work. App to verify before leaving lot would not upload last photo. Tried 3 times and couldn’t continue.

The truck was in terrible shape. The headlights were so dim that i could hardly see the road. The power steering pump was screaming so bad that you could not hear the radio. I am a mechanic and i know that this truck has hydro boost which operates the brakes and steering. The pump was out of fluid causing the loud noise. This truck should not have been on the road and i felt unsafe in the vehicle. I would have returned but i had people waiting for me so had to keep going. I fell that some type of discount is in order with you allowing a vehicle in this shape out of your Uhaul location. Gerry

I have rented from U-Haul for many years my experience at the U-Haul, 20618 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024. Was the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I had to hook up the trailer myself since the 2 employees decided I was not worth their attention. I guess good help is really hard to find.

Booked truck and auto trailer for one way trip, picked up truck, advised “why not pickup trailer after you have loaded the truck, it will be much easier.. “ good idea I thought, next day on the way to picking up the trailer, get a call saying double booked and they don’t have a auto transport trailer (“somebody else had booked it months before me “) turns out they cancelled the trailer reservation “by mistake “ I, had to drive to another place miles away, wasting my time and delaying my journey

Super awesome staff , I lost my husband August 19th 2023 and I was unable to pay on my unit and the end of October 2024 I got a phone call that my unit was still there and I was able to pay a small amount and get all my belongings. A blessing for sure

Rented a pick up truck. Was told if had a full tank of gas but it was only 3/4 full. It reeked of marijuana in the cab of the truck. And I brought it back within 30 minutes because I no longer needed it, but they still charged me the full amount instead of giving me a discount.

Checking was 30 seconds I was told to go to the north side of the building to find the truck. There was some significant damage that I took pictures of along with the mileage. I went back in to ask about the body damage and was told don’t worry bout it. Check in was equally casual without even and thank you for renting. Very poor experience. At least the truck ran well, just crappy experience from a customer service perspective.

I tried for over a month to reserve a 4x8 enclosed trailer and none were available near me. I checked again the morning of my camping trip and suddenly there was one available close by. I reserved it and went to pick it up. the employee told me the company doesn't rent this trailer in town, only one way. he said since the system allowed me to rent it he would do it. I used it for 5 days for a camping trip. why can`t I rent anything you have for whatever I need it for? this makes no sense.

As we were emptying the unit, someone else’s furniture, etc was by the elevator. It became apparent that other people were interested in the items. These people behaved like opportunists who likely weren’t renting storage space, but were looking for “free” things.

They obviously didn’t do maintenance on the U-Haul we rented. The air conditioning didn’t work all of the way from Phoenix to Janesville. The temperatures were extremely hot the whole trip.

Great place to rent a storage unit. There is a recycle area to take or leave what you don't need or want. It's not garbage the staff keeps it clean and gets rid of any garbage left there. I found some great treasures there.

We needed to rent a uhaul truck for the afternoon. Everything went as smooth as clockwork.

The truck was clean and in good condition. Plus, there was no wait at the pick-up location so I was able to complete the rental process quickly. There were no last minute changes to the pick-up location (which can be quite disruptive to a planned move), which is the advantage of renting from a large U-Haul Rental Center. The only issue I have is with U-Haul's propensity to rent their trucks without enough fuel to complete the move before having to refuel. Every time I rent and am given a truck with 1/4 or 3/8 fuel, I have to alter the moving logistics schedule (adjust the start time for hired movers) and find somewhere to get fuel before getting to the loading site. Sometimes, in less populated areas, you have to add miles driven just to find a gas station that can accomodate a 26 footer. It's not a big delay or cost but enough to be an annoying inconvenience when starting a move.

Thank goodness my intuition told me to take video. After renting a van for 2 hours, I recorded the dashboard showing a full tank of gas and the van in its parking spot with all the surroundings. I asked the girl at the counter for a drop box for keys as the line was long. She said leave the keys in the van and we will email you. The next day I get voicemail messages asking when I’ll be returning the van. Then I see U-haul attempt to charge my card random amounts (thankfully I keep my card locked). Please talk a 30 second walk outside to confirm that a vehicle has been returned before assuming someone hasn’t returned it.

Of all the uhaul locations in the Phoenix area I have been to in the past 10 years I find this location and it's employees to be the best. The price was way to high for not being air conditioned. I was paying $110.0 0 a month I had to move to another storage facility where I am paying $68.00 a month and one size bigger. I was out of town and a day late and the locked me out I got in on a fri. And paid I went sat. Eve. To get something out that was sold from my store and the lock was still on. I lost a $200.00 sale. The staff had a oops attitude which upset me. I like u haul storage but the low prises online are anything compared to what I was actually charged.

Hello I just want to say God bless your crew at The Cave Creek facility so friendly and so helpful. I've been through some trauma last couple months of my life my new year didn't start off very well. Honestly U-Haul people have made it so much easier. From picking up my U-Haul in Gardnerville Jimmy I believe that was the young man's name God forgive me if I'm wrong, as I lived in California Bishop California 3 hours from where I had to pick up a U-Haul as Bishop people wanted $7,000 to rent a U-Haul to move to Texas insane. So from Reno to Bishop to Texas didn't work out Texas to Arizona love you guys so much so helpful thank you thank you thank you God bless you all.
