The man at the front counter was very unhelpful and rude. My unit was supposed to come with a lock and after arguing with me about it he told me to go grab a different one off the wall and then proceeded to go back to his phone conversation. He told us there were no courtesy carts to use which we ended up finding on our own halfway through moving all our stuff by hand from the Lyft out front.. I think he is lucky he still has a job

no one was available to let us in to get our truck (reservation made online). wasted time attempting to rent & was on hold for 20+ minutes just to cancel the reservation.

Truck was muddy inside, the wheels and inside the cargo space. It was apparent that the truck had not been inspected and definitely was not clean. Another point of evidence was that their was a bag of clothes that the previous renters had left in the cab. I'm very comfortable using my iPhone's location services, including allowing specific websites and apps to track me. This feature didn't work upon pickup, nor upon return (when the office was closed). There were no parking spots available when I returned the vehicle. My main complaint is with the asshole working in the office on Friday, 10/8 when I picked up the truck. I'll spare you our conversation, but I'll tell you about the elderly couple behind me. As I was leaving, I heard this asshole say to the old man…”you…yeah, I'm talking to you” in the most disrespectful, condescending manner. I'm in business, and I'm well aware of how hard it is to find and retain good employees, but this guy needs to go. He's absolutely terrible. Call me if you'd like. I'll never use uhaul again.

you have a wonderful manager there and great folks working there. They was a great help. And when I got a text message on Sept 21 then Sept 28,2021 saying I still owe when I didn't owe anything the manager was able to get right on it and check for me and saw someone had try to put more on my account so she was able to put it back to what it was and I had my receipt showing I had paid everything up front when I pick up the truck. The problem I'm having is your uhaul text message from # 84285 again on Oct. 6,2021 still saying I owe money and trying to take my money off my card. You need to fix that cause even online shows my account is paid in full. yes my card was declined so thankfully they did not take anything out of my bank cause right now I have nothing in my bank after my move. Please get with your text message don't know why the text message still trying to show the wrong bill on here and I owe when my online account and I also have a receipt showing everything is paid !!!

They unlawfully changed my contract with Uhaul, I had a van with the insurance I never book without insurance, they even changed our contract number that is bull, I booked with insurance, I always do on every rental, why did they change our contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We reserved a Van and we were told we could not have it due to an outage, but when I complained because they gave our Van away @ that location we have our storage, he asked me if we would take a small truck instead @ At the same location, HE JUST TOLD ME THERE WAS AN OUTAGE, SO HOW CAN THEY GIVE ME A TRUCK AT THAT LOCATION, BECAUSE THEY WERE OVERBOOKED AND BUMPED US, I had no choice but to say yes to getting the truck, I was told the same price as the Van would cost, but they still charged me the truck price and then had to do all kinds of adjustments, so stressed when you are moving and we were in a crunch moving, BUT IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!! Then we booked a Van and some canceled it, I rebooked it Sunday, and thank the Lord we got a VAn, it was damaged and we took pics of it! i use to work in Car Rental i KNOW HOW ALL THIS WORKS!

Let customer know at check in that they MUST click on the link and submit the survey at pick up related to condition of vehicle,fuel guage level,mileage at pick up BEFORE driving away. I was not informed and only when I went back into the office to let manager know that fuel was @ 7/8 not as I was told @ Full,I was then sent a text with the link to complete all the questions. I could have driven off not knowing and been charged a ridiculous amt for not returning it with a full tank.

I was pleased using this storage facility for the past 6 years, till this week when I was moving my things out and was not able to open the entrance door get to my unit. The office would not answer my call and I had to drive to the office asking for help. I got quite a run around when they argued with me. I experienced the same problem each day this past week. I told those in the office that this franchise will loose money cause this location is NOT user friendly. I was very frustrated that it was difficult communicating a simple thing of having the entrance door to be open during normal business hours.

I called the facility, several times, no one picked up, to ask if there is an online check-in for a storage room, I was told no!. I then went back online to reserve and I checked in, the employee said only possible at the facility. When I finalized my storage online, we got a message that our lock would be in the storage room, it was not, we had to go and ask for it, this was inconvenient!! No disputes just employees should know what they are talking about to customers, the agent at Uhaul should have been able to tell me about online check-in same day reserved, the employee said that it was not possible, only here at the facility, wow!

Get a lock that works/much less frustrating. Mention how long it may take to get your photo “verified” during check in/before hand It took 30 minutes of time wasted Be transparent that photos are required for verification. Explain how you can have that photo removed or, better yet, don't require them in the first place.

It was very difficult to find the entrance for truck return. This location does not clarify that it accepts trucks, as the sign only says 24/7 storage. upon returning the truck, I received a $31 fuel charge although the truck had been returned at the same fuel level it was on when I received it (as documented). Again, the staff was able to resolve the issue- without apology. However, yet again, I am out of money for 3-5 business days at a mistake on the end of the company. My experience using Uhaul's vehicle was great, but having to deal with 2 reversed charges on the same rental is extremely inconvenient.

The only reason it is above average and not excellent is because of the lack of free carts to use at the storage facility. There were also shady people hanging in the storage facility while moving in. My rep was AMAZING!!

This location is in a difficult section of town. Parking is very limited. My pickup was perfect but when I was dropping off, non-customers had taken over the parking lot and I had to physically stop on the service road and wait probably 5 minutes for someone to leave. Eventually, I parked in a handicap stop to return the vehicle.

I was very impressed with the service from Adam, even though he was new and was still learning the system he was polite and worked through with his manager very well. It was very difficult to find a trolley to move items to and from the storage units. Inside the place was dark and sketchy. The driveways between the buildings were dirty too. I dropped off a few items and a few days later I came back with more. During that time someone had come in and placed a rat poison station in my unit. I moved out as soon as I could.

Truck took on 2” of water in the back cargo area. This damaged $250 of new drywall. Ironically, we had extended the rental for 3 extra days to keep the drywall out of the rain. Personnel also not wearing masks.

Nothing. I was very impressed with the staff. Chris has an incredible way with people. I saw him calm the customer before me who was panicking about life events and who had misplaced her keys. He was also very sympathetic and gave sage advice to me about life after my job delayed my start date, necessitating me to put my belongings in storage. I mostly interacted with Chris, but Olivia assisted me the next day and she was also super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I asked if i needed the truck 1 hr more .then 4hrs would i be charged ? She said as long as i bring truck back by 9am next morning..i would not be charged? Only alotted 111.00 for this rental my debit will over draft my bank account ..at 196.dollars iam senior and would never kept truck to be charged another day. I sent a email about the broken Driver side MIRROR did not know until i got on freeway. It flip flopped back and forth could not hold it the whole drive i asked for a credit on my rental. Minus one Day ..and Mirror broken she did not check the truck i assume she did earlier. I owe 111.00 Please help

The best thing about the location at 13637 N Central Expressway (Central & Midpark) is their employee, Johnathon. “John” is the kindest, most helpful and hardworking person. He always goes above and beyond to help you and does so with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. This location is made better by John and U-Haul should feel lucky to have a dedicated employee like him! Anyway, the location is small but doable. Not a lot of equipment options because location lacks parking space.

I'm sure the instructions were clear, but it was really hot and humid so I was hurrying, I apologize.

Made a 2 o clock reservation. The customer service representative stepped out to lunch at 2 so I couldn't get my van on time. Spent half an hour on the phone with customer service. 95% of the call was spent on hold. The other 5 percent was people picking up to tell me that they're gonna put me on hold again. Awful experience. You can really tell they don't care about their customers

I returned the Uhual with a full tank of gas although I received it with 3/4 of a tank. Shortly after dropping off the uhual, I received an email stating i was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I called the location to see what that was for. The gentleman said the cleaning fee was only charged because I failed to fold my 10 furniture pads and that "it was clearly stated on the truck." Now, it's not the $2.50 charge per pad that upsets me. It's the fact that I was not credited back the difference for the extra gas nor did they deduct the overage off the "cleaning fee." It's very difficult to pump exactly 3/4 of a tank without potentially having to do it a second time to ensure you get the right amount and not be under. If I would have returned it with so much as 1 line below what I was given, they would have charged me a ridiculous upcharge on gas. But when I give it to them with over what I received, they consider it a wash? Although the charges were mynute, it is the lack of integrity that gets me the most. I have used Uhual for over 9 years, moving through 6 different states, but sadly this will be my last. Very disappointed.
