ZACHARY M | Overall ExperienceIn 2006 I was advised that my homeowners insurance was adequate to insure my items in storage. Yet I was unfairly charged an $8 monthly insurance fee. Also, it was my understanding that there was a 3 day grace period before late fees applied. However, I was unjustly charged late fees on several occasions after storing with U-Haul for 18 years not EVER missing a payment.

Tracy A | Overall ExperienceI have been reaching out to the U-haul manager Jose and the Repwest claim rep Courtney for nearly 2 weeks and have not received a response/ email/ text/ phone call from either of them regarding the claim I filed. My rental unit, in the interior of a 'climate controlled' facility was damaged by water. The water appears to have come from within the structure/building, possibly the utility room. There is nearly $5,000 of damaged/ destroyed items. I have sent photos and left numerous phone, text and email messages without a response. Two of my televisions were stolen and when I asked about filing a claim they told me that insurance was not apart of my contract, so basically I paid for a storage with no insurance. But it’s okay!
