I had ordered 2 dozen blankets but when I unpacked there were only 9 blankets left. Either there weren't that many blankets provided with the truck or the We Make It Fit movers who packed the truck took the extra blankets. There were two plastic bags in the truck that I think were from the blanket packages. Also when I picked up the truck it was running. I didnt realize you turn the black ring, or housing, around the key to start the truck and not the key itself. This caused confusion in starting the truck and I had to call uhaul help. This should be explained to drivers at first who aren't used to driving trucks.

It felt like the truck I used had been neglected for quite some time. Alignment was off so the steering wheel was a bit of centered, it pulled to the right and the rear tires should have been replaced. Three customer service was excellent and that made up for the poor truck.

Hated your system to return the vehicle after hours. Had trouble connecting with your system to share the location. Called Customer Service and spoke to Victoria who was very helpful and documented our conversation. Lot of extra steps just to drop off a vehicle. And, we were not allowed to use our business debit card which we have in the past. Just very disappointed with the whole experience.

After I received the truck I found that the gas gauge was lower than what the guy at the counter said it was . They never bother to come outside to check the vehicle before I use it. Then the truck had a driving control issues. Bad experience for what I paid.??

When I returned the truck, the U-Haul representative accused me of causing damage to the truck that I did not cause. She even admitted that the truck had not been checked the night before when it was returned. Fortunately, I purchased the $14 insurance coverage. I don’t like being accused of things I did not do.

I was charged for damage to a trailer jack that seemed to be wear and tear. The jack was having issues prior to loading but given the circumstances it needed to be loaded while disconnected from the truck. After loading and being reconnected the jack would not raise on its own. I made a temporary fix and returned the trailer. It was not mentioned until i received my emailed receipt that i would be charged extra. I have done roughly $100/week of business with UHaul for months and feel that this charge is incredibly unfair.

Online return was not working when trying to return the rented trailer. I tried two phones, and two different browsers, and still ran into issues. Maybe it was a one time occurrence, but it was very frustrating.

1) Tell customers "before" they leave to inspect equipment or put a sign iup stating this. 2) The mileage fee is extremely high for consumers.. $.79 a mile is fine for commercial. However, it's "Price gouging" for consumers.

Charge less for miles. The rental started with $19.95 for 4 hours ...! My final bill was $40 ! I rented the truck only for one hour & put 21 miles.

This location and everyone working there was helpful courteous and knowledgeable as well as the Fuqua location. However the Conoco Uhaul facility and its employees were rude and unprofessional including Tammy and Thomlin who I spoke with via telephone and customer service. Because of these experiences we will NOT be using Uhaul again. I received confirmation via email about my equipment and confirm of pickup and it was not a available upon my arrival. Your customer service representatives need to be trained on what customer service is as well as the staff at the Conoco-Almeda Genoa location.

I got a van, and was told the gas tank was full, and needed to be returned full. Ok. That's how it normally works. Drove to my house (y ou u could see it from the store), picked up a couch around the corner to my daughter's. Came back to the store Probably 2 miles, including the stop at the gas station to top off the tank. Topping off the tank cost me over $7.50, almost 4 gallons of gas. Either that can sucked gas, or was not really full. Pennies in the long run, but I feel it was kind of dishonest. They were very busy, someone was waiting for the vehicle when I returned it, but the reaction of the office staff was just a kind of, shrug, ok .

The drop off procedures could be improved. Simply asking someone if they are dropping odff or acknowledge that they are waiting would. E a great improvement in customer service.

I made the reservation over the phone, a couple of days later I received a call letting me know the location I wanted to pick up at didn’t have the equipment I wanted, I needed to pick up at a different location. Confused, I asked her what equipment they had for me and she said an auto transport. I reserved a 5x8 box trailer, so my reservation was all messed up, still don’t know why! When I called to straighten out, the customer service rep got mad at me and yelled at me and hung up on me?????? I don’t remember her name, but very rude woman!!!

I reserved a 10’ truck online on 12/15 for use on 2/1. The store called me on 1/31 and said they no longer had a truck for me due to over-booking. The store’s scheduler rep would not offer a larger truck that they had available for the price of the 10’ nor would they offer to compensate me for miles that I would need to drive a truck from another store that was further way from my home - they essentially said there was nothing they could do but direct me to book at another store - although how would I know at that point if another store would not do the same thing - leave me high and dry ... the day before the move? As I was getting nowhere with the scheduler, I asked to talk to the manager of the store who then agreed to give me a larger availability truck for the same price as the 10’. It is unacceptable to tell a customer the day before truck pickup, especially when the truck was scheduled over a month-and-a-half ago that there would be no truck available and to find another truck at another store! I had people coming in from out of town to help with the move and who took time off to do so. I will not use UHaul again!

The vehicle that was reserved was not available at the time of pickup. We were offered a different vehicle instead. This was not ideal. While we were figuring out an alternative the originally scheduled vehicle arrived and we were able to be on our way. In the future I would prefer not to take 30 minutes to pick up a reserved vehicle, but the rest of the experience was good.

The truck we rented had 132000 miles, which I agree is not excessive fora Ford E250/E350 chassis. I did wonder about maintenance, since steering and front end were very loose. I suspect tie rods and shocks were shot. This truck was ok for our very short, local rental. I think this truck would be unsafe on the highway for an extended trip. It definitely needs maintenance on the front end.
