The rear right passenger tire TPMS sensor did not work on the U-Haul van I rented. The left rear driver side tire also leaked air. The tire pressure was not checked by the associates prior to me renting the vehicle. I had to ask them to fill up the tires to the proper pressure as they were all low by at least 10 to 15 lbs. When one of the associates checked this vehicle in prior to my rental the mileage was not recorded properly in the system. This U-Haul location is not in the greatest part of town there were homeless people entering the building which made us feel a little bit uncomfortable. However the U-Haul employees were very polite and helpful. All in all it was a good experience renting from this location however the van needs some much needed maintenance and repairs.RYAN N.

I've used the online reservation system for this location 7 times in the past 2 years & it's been fairly simple and straightforward. This past rental, not so much. I did the online check-in on my phone as usual, found my van, then went to the counter to get my key. I showed the screen to the employee at the counter as instructed but she would not give me the key. She called someone & asked them questions about how to proceed. She asked to see the card I used to pay for it which I have saved on my online account. I showed her the card & she said it was invalid because it didn't say "credit card" on it. I told her it was the same one I used for the exact same rental half a dozen times before but she said it has to say "credit" on it then tapped a posted list & said "we follow the rules here." Well, okay, I told her I had a credit card & we could use that. We basically had to do the whole reservation process again at the counter. She also said I have to purchase the additional insurance since the proof of insurance for my car didn't specify that it was "full coverage." And I also had to give her two references. My customer history should show that I've been reliable! I know she was just doing everything the person on the phone was telling her to do, but it was very confusing. And, when I returned the van, it was my original card that got charged anyway. Very frustrating situation. I need to rent a van again in 3 months, but I am hesitant to return to this location even though it is conveniently located for me.Daman H.

When I arrived evidently there was a shift change going on. I was made the wait almost a half an hour while that took place. Once somebody finally decided to help me I had to continuously repeat my information over and over again. The cashier couldn't even find my reservation at first. The truck that was received the bumper almost fell off while in motion. The windshield was absolutely filthy and the glare from the sun made it very hard to see. I originally came in 7/12 to get a storage unit. I was helped by Angela. She was very polite and helpful. I let her know that we were not going to actually move in until 7/30. When we came on 7/28 our unit was sold to another family and my code was not active. They had double sold my unit and did not let us know. We came back 7/29 and spoke with Shanell. She fixed the issue but it still was a HUGE inconvenience for this reason I will Never refer U-Haul to another sole. I give this place a -0 as a score. The manager at the 6300 Colonel Glenn Road U-Haul location in Little Rock, Arkansas was very rude. She needs to learn customer skills. Case in point: one of her workers left the glass door open while she and the worker were outside during normal business hours. She accused me of opening the door. I did NOT open the glass door, the worker left the door open, and I expressed this to her. Then she began talking about how people steal and she was "using me as an example, but don't take it personal". I was very, very offended by her statement. In no way will I ever go back to this location and I do not recommend anyone going to this location. In addition, she stated that I had to use my credit card instead of my debit card to rent a pick-up truck, that I only used for an hour. I told her that I used my debit card a couple of weeks ago to rent a van from that same location, in addition to me having a U-Haul account in which I rent a storage unit. Her response was, "I am the boss now!" This is a rude woman who needs to be gotten rid of. I will never go back to this location and I am considering cancelling my storage contract with U-Haul.Este F.

The service was great , quick and very efficient however I was very disappointed in the fact I was forced to get the â€œInsuranceâ€ due to me not having my personal insurance policy on me at the time. If I was informed to bring my personal insurance policy I would have brought it. I think it's ridiculous to force a person to get insurance on a vehicle that they had for less than 3 hours. The associate assisting me informed me it is a requirement to get the insurance, through the company if you can't provide a copy of your own. I requested a copy of those by laws stating that it's a requirement to get it . Still haven't received it. I know it's only $10 but it's $10 I was not expecting to pay .if I chose to get the additional insurance then great but being forced to get the insurance I'm not happy. To whom it may concern; I Tar-Easha Hood called Uhaul on Wednesday, July 14 2022 to reserve a Uhaul and Storage building for Thursday , July 14 2022 at the Kanis location for pickup @ 8:00 AM. I spoke with Courtney, the Customer Service Representive, and she told me that I would get a month of free storage. Once I arrived to the Kanis location, I spoke with Christopher York, the General Manager of the Kanis location. Christopher told me that the way it was setup, didn't guarantee that I would get a month of storage free. Christopher tried to redo the information, but the system wouldn't allow him to do it. When I realized that the Customer Service Representive didn't book the Uhaul or Storage Building correctly, Christopher did a discount on the Uhaul since he wasn't able to correct the information in the system. Because of this error, this delayed my schedule of getting my things moved. I then, had to go to the Colonel Glenn location to get the Storage Building, since this location didn't have a 3 room storage building. When I arrived at the Colonel Glenn location, the storage building was locked and I was told by Patricia that I had to wait until Friday July 15 2022. Once I got there on July 15th by noon, the Storage Building was still locked. I was told by the Supervisor on duty at the Colonel Glenn location, that the Building had been unlocked since 8:00 AM, but that was a lie. She was very rude and unprofessional and stated that what I was talking about was irrelevant. I told her that what I was saying was very relevant, as I am the customer. Since there was an issue with the Uhaul and Storage the previous day, this created an extra charge and extra mileage because the Uhaul wasn't turned back in by 8:00 AM on July 14th. I had a reservation for 7:30. I was running late so I ended up there to pick up the truck at about 9:30. There was only one guy working the counter and there were several customers waiting. His manager was out and he seemed overwhelmed. I felt bad for him because he was trying to help but was having issues with the system and could not find the key to my truck and other customers were getting impatient and agitated. The manager finally showed up at about 10:15 and was able to locate the keys. I do not think that I will be coming back to this location nor would I recommend it to anyone else.John H.

Front desk worker was friendly and helpful. The van rented was dirty inside. Cigarette ashes everywhere and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. I ordered everything I needed online. I wanted an outside unit, no climate control. I bought a lock online. The next day, when I came to check in, they couldn't find a record of what I paid for: I had to show them a screenshot. I had to argue that I already purchased the lock. I left and my friends moved the stuff in. I couldn't understand why they seemed so agitated. Turns out we were given a climate controlled unit (which costs more) which was inside, around a corner and down a long hall. And I was charged for the climate controlled unit. Just the other day we went back to empty the unit after they charged a $30 late fee for forgetting over the weekend. And they sent an invoice for that, but not for all the other times I paid. Turns out, our unit was broken into a burglarized. I got NO, I repeat NO NOTIFICATION about this. Some very important things were missing. The entire experience was horrible and they were very unprofessional. The place was obviously not secure. They give you key cards to get in, but the gates are always open. If you forget to swipe your card an alarm goes off.. NO ONE checks on that. It was horrible. I will never use u haul again for storage.Annie F. | Overall Experience
