Very easy to make a reservation (which I wound up needing on short notice). Pick up and drop off were very easy. I received the truck with an oil light illuminated. I reported the malfunction to staff. They checked the oil level and serviced the engine. The same person also had to sweep out the back as it had pine straw littered throughout. The person who helped me was great, but she shouldn't have needed to fix what should have been already done.MICHAEL B.

Too much money for little storage area and the access hours can be inconvenient. I paid my storage online and had friends help with extra vehicles come to remove my belongings from storage only to find out (after office hours) that the extra lock on my storage had not been removed, had to send my help away and ended up paying two extra months over $300.00 because of it? I called into the premises to extend my rental time from a Saturday return to a Monday return. The assistant entered it all into the system in my presence but it did not get saved so it looked like I was late and received a phone call on the Sunday informing me that I was late returning the rental. The U-Box container that I used was dropped off in good condition, and left in good condition. It arrived at my next location damaged. The fastener screws that held the lock latch in place had been removed forcibly, the lock latch was also bent. This happened either while the U-Box was on U-Haul property or while en route between facilities. I would suggest a better locking mechanism for U-Box containers that cannot simply be pried off with minimal force. The locking latch needs to be built into the container and door in a way that it reduces the chance of stolen goods. My lock was big enough to prevent the latch from clearing the door enough for it to be opened, and that is the only thing that held the door shut.Christopher P.

The elevator door closes too fast, making a difficult job more difficult. You closed the garage bay door and made me have to maneuver a 15 foot truck around to get it out. What good is a reservation if it’s not honored? Fortunately, I found out about this early enough when I called to ask a simple question and was able to snag another unit. I did have some difficulty locating my storage locker, so I went to the front office and the lady there was more than excellent in helping. She walked me to my unit and explained the "set up". It should be noted that my sense of direction whether in large buildings or driving is terrible - so it was no fault of U-Haul that I needed assistance. I reserved in advance. The Friday before moving I finalized so I could have immediate access on moving day on Monday. When I arrived, the green lock that I had been told would be removed was still on my unit. Also my key card did not work. Jade was excellent at showing the facility and the entry access process when I came in to pickup a trailer? I realized the trailer I reserved online was too small, Jade helped me rent a larger one. When we arrived to storage unit we realized it was too small. The rental agent on duty (sorry, I don't remember her name) moved us to a larger unit. It was shocking to find two young men with attitudes so extremely poor. It took an hour to rent a 5 x 10 storage unit. If I owned this establishment, I would recommend these two young men never come in contact with a customer again. Bettery yet, they should be fired for their horrible conduct..
