Better selection of trucks. The truck i received act like the transmission was going out. Gas mileage was off by alot, luckily I paid attention and took a pic of correct mileage. I person checking me out act like something was wrong with her. I stool in a line which made my check in process 20 min delayed and she definitely mentioned I couldn't get credit for the loss of time. Overall everything was quick and I was in and out. Darlene is amazing! you have a gem of an employee. The most challenging thing was scheduling my re-delivery. I had to find a "back channel" to get it scheduled. Online system wasn't working and the call center was backed up. When I did get them after an hour on hold, they couldn't schedule either.Joan S.
Initial drop off was a VAPE Store with a Uhaul sign. Lady told me to just park trailer around back in an unsecured area and leave it, put paper work in drop box. I declined and called UHAUL and selected the Eagles Landing Uhaul location. The Uhaul employee there was very nice and took care of the situation. After purchasing $1,000 of rental equipment and supplies over a 3 week period I tried to return maybe $50 worth of boxes and misc items. I was told I needed a receipt! I literally knew the staff from numerous busts. The morning manager was so non cooperative it was almost laughable. My advice please get this manager some customer service training. All I wanted was to be treated fairly. Her 2 responses I can't do anything- really? Other than her you guys were great.PATRICK P.

I started emptying and was coming right back to grab the rest of my things and someone locked it up! This was the worst moving experience ever! Firstly, the reservations were placed at a location that did not have the equipment, and then both my ten-foot truck and my auto-transport were in TWO separate locations which were about 30 minutes away from each other. This caused me to move my entire move around due to the inconvenience. Secondly, I get to the storage facility and they don't have the storage I reserved, once again just placing me at any location without double checking. Lastly, I see my final statement, and U-haul charged me for a wrong drop off fee, and I reserved that exact location!! This moving service is horrible, scammers, and definitely not professional. I had my son's stuff in a Ubox while he was in college. He moved to his own apt so went to empty his Ubox. There was a lock placed on the box NOT by us. He had to go back and break the lock off. Afterwards when we asked if there was anything else we needed to do to close the account, we were told no. I was billed the following monthâ€¦after 3 phone calls billing issue was finally resolved and account closed. I feel this place is a bit disorganized in how they handle their business and my main response on the phone was â€œlet me check on itâ€ or â€œthe manager has to review itâ€ but I feel it was not looked at or the manager hadn't looked into things because it took awhile to resolve a simple issue of closing an account. From the date that I ordered my uboxes there was always problems my boxes were delivered late. And they were pick up late. And when I asked for them to be delivered to my new address, they only delivered part of my boxes. And I had to wait to get the rest of my order. It was a pretty horrible experience.DAwn T.

The cargo box of the truck I rented allowed rain water in which soaked my storage boxes. The boxes at the bottom of the stacks were wet to the point that you had to hold them from the bottom instead of by the handles.DAVID R.

There was a mother/daughter duo running the store. My customer service experience trying to get the truck was TERRIBLE. I couldn't hear the daughter talking over the mother sitting next to her, with another customer, explaining how to go to lowes clearance section and being able to get lowes merchandise at a steal, and what lowes locations to go to specifically. Once I asked the mother to please quieten down, and I could hear the daughter, the daughter didn't know what she was doing. When the daughter couldn't answer my questions, she would reflect them back to me and told me if I didn't know the answers to the questions I was asking, then that was my problem not hers. The mother finally stepped in, once HER customer was gone, and had to help the daughter check me out. I have used uhaul many times over many years and I have never had such a terrible experience, and not once have I ever been disrespected. I hope this survey will encourage management to address it at the local level. If I ever have this problem again, I will never use uhaul again.VICKI M.

Former storage unit holders dumped their unwanted furniture over the weekend which drastically reduced the space available for our movers to move our items. The facility rented my unit, I prescheduled. They in turn gave me 2 closet size units and I had to add a 3rd one. My $1500 bed wouldnt even fit in the door of the unit. They basically said oh well after the Uhaul call center called them. They even had the nerve to tell me to go to another storage company after I paid just about $1000 for a one way rental. Then the unit was so small my 55 inch TV cracked and they basically said oh well and to file a claim. Insane after driving about 800 miles.
