The manager at this location is friendly and customer service oriented. He committed to his store and the neighborhood. Trailer pulled great but the inside was covered with some sticky tar like substance. I didn't think to check the inside while picking up, so it was discovered upon loading it.Barry R.

Marvin and the entire staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I can't say enough how wonderful everyone was there from check-in to picking up and returning the truck. The gentleman that brought the truck over to us even told us to have a safe trip! No one has ever done that before. We will be be renting exclusively from this location in the future! ****Please note- the only issue we had was with traffic as we needed another extension and the lady told us we had â€œdisplaced another customerâ€ by extending and there would be no further extensions which caused a lot of problems as we were struggling to finish in time. We needed a few more hours at least. Not happy about being told I displaced another customer and not happy about being told I could not extend as I have been renting uhaul trucks almost every weekend for the past 3-4 months and I have been â€œdisplacedâ€ several times myself! Moving is not an exact science and things happen that you are not in control of like weather for instance. Very, very unhappy about this which caused my blood pressure to spike and a lot of extra work and we worked all night with no sleep to try to finish. I don't appreciate being treated like a bad child being admonished like a teacher scolding a student. This had nothing to do with the staff at the Edgewood location at all, it was corporate and traffic. I suggest you inform your employees at the â€œtrafficâ€ division not to tell a loyal customer they have â€œdisplaced another customerâ€ and also not to tell them they cannot extend another day if they need it and if it is your policy to limit the number of extensions then another solution should have been suggested like renting another truck. I am still reeling from this as it really cost me a lot monetarily and physically. .Martha H.

I set up for a storage also when picking up the uhaul and was handed the key. I asked the I reserved for a storage I was told none was available at the time. I wish I would have known that after I told them the mileage I was taking. I spent extra for mileage after I return the uhaul. Other that everything was fine. The staff in the evening were...... locked the doors 30 mins early, and kicked me out and said your truck is over there. The truck was actually hidden in the very back in between storage units. The truck was dirty and the gas gauge was off by more than a quarter tank. This place needs a wash. Clean house. The guys that were checking in the vehicle were nice and polite maybe they should be the ones running the counter. I will never use this location. The reviews on Google reflect the truth. We shouldnt get poor customer service just because this location is in a "rough" area. Someone from district management needs to run this store and get back to Uhaul standards. U-Haul is a great company! This is the first location that I have witness the expectation falling way below. Thank you.gabriel D.

The uhaul I had was full of roaches in the front part. When it's night and you go in there it's an infestation. And you're scared that they will get in your things and they did luckily I was able to kill the ones that was in my bags. Just disgusting how many roaches was in the uhaul. They should be bombed and left off the rental list until that's taken care of. Because seeing one or two you're like ok but seeing like over twenty in the small space is just disgusting.Christine W.

When I came in I gave them my reservation number.. and they couldn't find it at the location I was at.. but come to find out the person that was helping me put in his code from the location he worked.. because he was just helping out at that locationâ€¦.after realizing his mistake and taking all my information over again.. the lady that work there put in the right code and my reservation popped up.. Then He apologized â€¦.smh.. I'm glad I went 30 mins before my reservation to deal with all they had going on.. Im glad I knew how to be patient after getting put on hold during my transaction several times.. so they can assist other people walking in while I wait.. it took longer than I assumed it would.. but after I got the truck.. it was clean and I returned it within the hour only going 11 miles I got a good rate.. so the overall experience was ok.. but the checkin was a bit frustrating even though I made reservations..Sunserious S.

Karen and her crew at the Edgewood location are excellent examples of great customer service. I rent equipment from this location regularly, Karen always takes care of me when I'm in her store. On this day, I let her know that I tried to rent a 20' truck online, but was told there was not one at this location. Since I like doing business at Edgewood, I reserved a 15' truck. When I told Karen of the situation, she was able to get me into a 20' truck for the time that I needed it for the day. I love doing business with Karen and her team.David S.

The customer service was good but the equipment is poorly maintained. The truck I rented battery died after we unloaded twice. making the move take longer. Also I was unable to use roadside assistance because the truck wasn't showing under my rentals online. The rental rate I agreed to was 19.95 per day. Upon return I was charged 79 per day without my consent. She then pointed to the section in the agreement regarding the best rate guarantee which stated uhaul may calculate the best rate for ME. Me being the key word not for uhaul. Being that I prepaid and the payment was takin daily, this in fact was NOT the best deal for me. I did not have a bill remaining at my original rate so how can that rate be BEST FOR ME. Uhaul is a fraud and scammers. I will be seeking legal action.Archie G.

After I paid for the month of June, the staff decided to cut my lock off and rent the unit out to another customer, so when I came to check my unit there was a new lock on it and I no longer had access. Luckily my unit was empty at the time, but I no longer have my unit (which I pre-paid for) and my $12 lock that I paid for is also gone.
