The equipment I rented may have been inspected within the last 4 months but the tires were very worn out and it cause me to have 4 tires replaced during my trip. I lost 12 hours of travel time on 2 separate days because I had to wait 6 hours one time and another 3 for the other time. There was no way my car transport tires were inspected and cleared for a 1400 mile trip when the tread was down to the tread limit line. To top all of this off, I was not reassured reimbursement for my hotel room and or a refund of some of the cost of my move.Corey I.

Uhaual's rates continued to increase which made my experience average. I also lose a significant amount of property due to mold. I am in believe that there is a unit the has mold that spread to my unit. Part way through the trip I once again lost my light connection to the trailer due to the faulty wiring that was done at the mid-March in Lubbock, TX. The guys at the Fort Drum NY location were really trying to help fix the wiring mishap where the lights wouldn't come on. It's been a serious nightmare with all the wiring issues due to the Lubbock location. There were so many times I was put in peril because the lights on the trailer would stop working and cars/trucks wouldn't see me. I almost got hit several times because they didn't know I was braking or turning (the trailer covered the rear lights on my car) I was so stressed and nervous for over 3,000 miles! I was actually in tears at times, but I do not fault the Fort Drum, NY Uhaul in Evansville NY, they did their best.April M.

I was told that the truck was at almost full. I said that doesn't make sense when I got the truck at almost empty. I ended up helping fulling up the tank for that truck. I spent $80.15. I was told that I would get a credit of that amount and I have yet to see my credit.Erica G.

Did a storage unit res with the 800 # cst srvc. Got there only for this location to say their GM doesn't honor free month rental unit. At that point I refused to pay uhaul another cent. I called cst service and they transferred me to this location without any explanation or assistance. So cst srvc rep wasn't helpful either. When I returned the truck to this location, rep advised me he tried to call me because they were going to give me a box free for a month. Really all of this could have been avoided if they just honored the corporate program of a free month. Yes, they were slightly more helpful when I returned the truck but that was almost too little too late.Adrienne B.

My handicap assisted move was delayed over two hours due to the truck keys not being put into the lock box for the vehicle. What was a 100% well planned and prepacked move with 10 helpers (pick up time at 7 am) turned into a disorganized mess with only 6 helpers. (actual possession of truck at 9 am) My help waited and waited with nothing to do during that time and I ultimately ended up losing help due to the loss of time causing even more delay in the move, lack of organization and motivation with the other help which inturn caused and extra trip for more items in the end. This was the most stressful move I have had since worrying about the military contracted movers losing and breaking my posessions during years of service. I believe compensation is in order for the loss of time, stress and inconvenience as well as more money spent on milage.Stacy S.

U-Haul locations need to make sure that the oil life on the trucks is above 15-20%. The 9' Box Truck that I was given had its oil life at 9%.Benjamin F.

The gentleman that was there on Sunday the 7th in the evening was amazing. He helped make sure my lights and everything were ready for Monday. Made sure we knee what hitch and ball worked best. Monday the 8th was totally different though. The person helping us out was not very helpful. I purchased a 2 inch ball and a drop hitch. Very specifically chose the 2 inch ball since the trailer I was getting required it. At some point between me purchasing the ball and them putting it together and then putting it on my car it got switched to a 1 and 7/8 inch ball. I didn't notice until after we had left and were driving throughout the day. Something was off and the trailer was very jerky.Jon B.

The drop off of the Ubox went well. The driver was great and tried to help us with the chaos around delivery. We are very disappointed your customer service procedures. The customer can't contact the actual store for help, only service centers. The website is awful, on line chat hung up on me 3 times, could never find or add this order on our account. The Ubox was delivered a day late after confirmation of the prior day delivery. 2 people wasted a day off and had to unload at night when the box finally showed up after many hours of waiting on hold for customer service to find out where the box was. Our drop off driver found out that the delivery driver was out of hours and per DOT couldn't drive any more. Who scheduled that mess? We paid for a service, contracted at date. planned lives around that date and Uhaul failed. I can't even get a detailed bill on our account and I'm not wasting any more hours with your customer service phone system. We have rented many trucks in the last 5 years which went ok. I'm not sure if we'd ever use Ubox again and I will caution my co-workers who are looking for ways to move their college age / young adults. You need to improve your website for the ability to add orders to accounts and access billing. The on line chat needs to wait for customer to hang up. You need better procedures to resolve issues and satisfy customers when things go wrong.paula W.

I needed to put my 2017 f150 super crew short bed in storage. I tried other places that said they had a 10x20 storage unit and the truck should fit, however that was not the case at all. U-Haul by Fort Drum next to Bradley's the truck fit perfect as you can see in the pictures. The unit was clean and stayed dry as it is elevated from the actual ground. The price was great which included a lock and I setup auto pay, as I received an email every month as a receipt of the automatic payment. Very easy to cancel once I no longer needed the storage facility. Great friendly staff who were able to answer all my questions and concerns.
