Agent said the tank was full and to be sure to re-fill before returning. He NEVER said check the gauge before leaving for adjustment. I drove the truck 15 miles! I ended up having to put $20.00 (7+gallons) into the tank to fill it and agent refused to give me credit or adjust bill. RIP OFF!SUSAN A.

I fell and hurt myself really bad at this location on my first rental. I would suggest there should be signs place around where there is an elevation in step in the concrete design. I ordered 12 furniture blankets. When I picked up the truck, I only had 5 blankets in the truck and my estimate only listed 6. That wasn't a big deal. When I turned in the truck, I told her that I only had 5 in the truck. I was billed for 12 - the $5 isn't a big deal, but this is difference between average and excellent.john P.

The rental part was fine. The dissapoinmet has come from the billing department. I have been erroneously billed 2x by the site where I dropped off the truck. I have called and disputed the 2 extra charges and no one has called me back. I will definitely tell people to really view their bill from UHaul. I have been calling trying to get this matter corrected. Unfortunately the rental experience has been tarnished by the billing process. The only legitimate charge is $150.01Gary P.

The truck felt as if it was going to break down at any moment. Doesn't feel safe to drive long distances at all. Could barely turn the steering wheel, very loud, hard to steer straight, very smelly and sticky. Didn't seem clean at all. The staff were nice though.DARLENE B.

The location itself was fine; however, the area customer service and scheduling was terrible. My pick-up date and time was changed multiple times, and I had to beg to get a truck at my scheduled time. This caused a huge inconvenience since i had already scheduled movers to load the uhaul, and I would have lost $500 if uhaul wouldn't have provided a truck. When I attempted to explain all of this to area customer service representative Ashley, she was extremely rude and not understanding. She finally said she found a truck, more than 45 minutes from my home, and she said that I had to pick it up that evening. This caused me to cut short a final family visit and drive over 3.5 hours last minute to pick up the truck the day before my scheduled pick up. When I tried to explain that I was no where around, Ashley was very rude and made it seem like I should be grateful she was willing to give me 25 extra miles and an extra day...neither of which I needed. I asked if I could get a discount instead, and she quickly cut me off refusing. I've used uhaul several times, and I never will again after this experience.SCOTT M.
The 20 ft truck bed and cab was clean. However, the cab smelled strongly of smoke. The windshield wipers were worn to the point where they left long white marks on the windshield that i could not remove. These reflected sunlight and were very annoying during the trips to the house. The left wiper washer does not work, the right one barely puts out any water meaning i had to clean the windshield by hand. The cover over the engine inside the cab by the driver's right foot was not attached correctly and rubbed my foot the entire day. This is also a safety issue if the gas pedal were to become stuck behind it. The front end steering makes a LOUD popping noise and a shock can be felt through the steering wheel when going over rough roads, curbs into driveways and hard turns. The windows MANUALLY ROLL UP,. how old is this truck? It should have been retired and replaced with something MUCH nicer years ago.Charles C.

I had an exterior wall unit & the climate control was not adequate in that space. Despite signs that said the building was sprayed for pest control I regularly saw bugs (including cockroaches) around the building. I found termite wings in my unit also. Everytime I went to my unit there was dirt in the loading/unloading area. The lighting was fine in the hallways, but the outdoor & unit lighting is poor and with cameras only on the doors of the buildings, not inside, I believe it is sub-par for security. I moved out of my storage room but yet continued to receive notifications that I owed despite contacting UHAUL 4X.. They went as far as to contact my relative saying that I owed money WHEN I DID NOT OWE because I had already moved out! I waited a total of 30 minutes from the time I got to the U-Haul storage storefront to get into my storage unit. I had to pay the movers for this time because of the poor management at the desk. There was one women there and she was juggle 3 phones calls while trying to check me into my reservation. She was going back and forth to each call helping everyone at the same time(including me) but the problem was that she was only giving each customer a small portion of her time which meant we all had to wait an extra long time. Honestly, I should have been priority because I was physically there and I had a reservation. Having to pay the movers more money for U-Hauls problems made me the most angry. It cost me $35 extra dollars that I paid to the movers. I would like to be refunded this money from U-Haul since it was U-Haul’s poor customer service that led to me spending that money. I have been renting from U-Haul for years and have spent $1,000’s of dollars here, but this experience makes me want to go elsewhere.Samuel B. | First Impressions

I am interested in maybe getting a lager size after she explained that it's possible to upgrade to a larger unit when it becomes available. I misunderstood - thought I was getting one month free with a truck rental but she explained that because the truck was not a one way drop-off it was not qualified. Even though I cleared out my unit and returned the eguiptment 3 days prior to the next billing cycle she would not refund my deposit or future payment. When I spoke with a customer service representative they said they would resolve the matter. I had never gone to my storage due to illness. When it was time to pickup my furniture, it had been ran through in my boxes items thrown around looking for valuables and brand new items were stolen down to kitchen towels and glass crafted beveled mirrors. My lock was cut and they put their own lock on it hoping I would not be able to access entry and the rest would be auctioned.
