The link to return vehicle was a not working, called your customer service line and Chris was very helpful after trying to find the QR code by the entrance that was not present. I had to go back in and wait in line to advise the counter rep the AC was not working in the truck. They advised it was in your records and I would not be responsible. I would have been able to deal with issue had they just told me upfront when they gave me the keys instead of coming back in and waiting in line again.kim B.

I am in a dispute right now with uhaul, I paid for every extra day I was charged for I was told I was given 72 more hours to have it back after the first 48 of the 72 hours they randomly towed my truck without letting me fuel it or finish cleaning it out, I had to leave half of my things at my old house from the truck because they wouldn't listen to me about me having paid for 72 hours, regardless of anything else I was told I was paying for 3 days and I'd have 3 days to return it so me being charged for gas in the middle of my rental when they decided to take it is ridiculous, I don't feel it's fair I have to pay for that considering I didn't even get my last day I was promised. I called everyday of my rental and was told so many different things by so many different people and then when I'd talk to someone from the store they would have no clue what I'm talking about. This was a very stressful and expensive experience and I will pay my entire bill after I get to talk to someone who can help me with this problem because charging me almost 100.00 Dollar in gas because they refused to let me fill it up is ridiculousKorie R.

I was overcharged. I only took that van 19 miles. I put 3 gallons of gas in the tank and was charged 2 Gallons upon return. You can't tell me it takes 5 gallons of gas to go 19 miles. Customer service was a bit lacking... I had to wait while my UHaul person kept getting involved in another customer's dispute, when there other UHaul people available to assist. Also, when I dropped off the van, I had to go inside to check-out, even though a UHaul person walked right by as I was leaving the van. I am used to them scanning something with their phone, or whatever, and being able to leave right away.Brian C.

Both of the tires on the trailer were in bad condition. The driver side tire had silver showing/belts showing/no tread at all. The passenger side tire had minimal tread. It was not safe for us to drive 6 hours and had to have roadside assistance come and replace the tire.Alexandra C.

Everything was great except for my check out. The unit was in my name, but my husband verbally told someone we were checking out. I called when he got home and was told I had to go in to the site for a walk through. I drove over to the facility and when I got there, I checked my email while in line waiting my turn. The only issue I had with Uhaul was that when I first got my storage unit I made staff aware that I was only going to need storage for two months and that a week ago I broke my sacrum and cocoxy and requested a closer storage unit because walking was very difficult and extremely painful and the woman who assigned my storage unit put me clear in the back of the building.Jami M. | Overall Experience

Vehicle was perfect for my needs and easy to drive. However, I drove with the tire light and service warning on the entire trip. The rep told me it would be on because they put a spare on and not to worry, but I worried anyway. If the vehicle was running on a spare, even full size, should it be rented? My bill is not what was not for the quoted price. I was quoted $40.00 for the day with $8. 00 for insurance. My bill was $60.00! Big difference.RICKY P.
Upon pickup, the truck had half a tank of gas. When we returned the truck we put $100 of gas in it, which brought it to over half a tank. We booked the truck for two days and the hold charge on our account included 70 miles. At drop off, the employee said to my husband â€œyou're good to go,â€ and did not mention anything about fuel or extra miles (we knew we went extra miles and would be paying for them, no biggie, but I believe the customer should still be informed). I checked my email and viewed the receipt about an hour later and we were charged a $30 fueling fee, as well as $105 for 18gal of gas. I called U-haul and after being on hold for 20 minutes we went to the location. We were there for 30 minutes and it was a huge hassle back and forth with the staff, including my husband having to go out to the lot and show them the truck and fuel gauge. Additionally, they first only refunded the $105, before my husband insisting they also refund the $30 fee. I received an updated email receipt for the $30 but not the $105 (fortunately my husband has paper receipts for both), but 24 hours later the full amount is still on my credit card with no reduction or refund. We have no intention of using U-haul in the future or recommending friends/family to do so.Ashley R.

I confirmed my reservation over phone with a U-Haul representative not located at this location, I was instructed since there was no U-Haulâ€˜s available in southern Ohio for rental that I would not be paying and mileage fee and only a daily rental I went from believing that I would not be paying near $300 for a U-Haul rental to ending up paying $270. The staff at this location was great but I was misled by the representative over the phone and spent over $100 more than I anticipated.Michael F.

When I walked into the customer service area to retrieve the key after checking in on my phone, I was not greeted by anyone. It's just a little thing, but a simple "Someone will be with you in a minute" goes a long way. I hate not knowing who is available to help and who is busy and I definitely don't want to interrupt someone if they are in the middle of something important so saying that helps me to know that you are busy but you'll help when you are done.David C.

This is the worst location I've ever been inaugurated serenity trucks, trailers, and storage on U-Haul. The manager is rude in the staff is lackadaisical. Ignore customers and make them wait in an enormous amount of time to be assisted. However one gentleman that went by the name Beanz. Young man should be running the whole operation customer friendly and attentive to our customers need. The manager and the other staff text Mike time is not of the essence for anyone I've been in there idle chat. I have no problem with folks on the ground. I had the worst experience EVER with this move from your 800 customer service line. They misrepresented your services to get me into a more expensive one-way trip. They changed the pickup location the day before my move AND AGAIN on route to the pickup location. I have used Uhaul several times this year alone, but I WILL THINK TWICE about ever using your service again. Awful misrepresentative and twisting information to make a larger sale. The staff was not courteous from the check-in to the person I signed out the equipment with. Also, the equipment was dirty, and I was told to hook up the trailer myself, and when I brought it back I was told to disconnect the trailer? I have a bad back and I had to wait an exceptional long time to get help on hooking each the hooking up, and I had to actually help the young lady when she disconnected trailer. Mainly because she was unable to lift it. I will not be using this location ever again, and I also be reevaluating using U-Haul at all. Well I will be Filing a lawsuit because your Manager for that store on Georgesville Road called and the way she talked to my husband was uncalled for and then they say I’m not allowed on the premises I’ve never been on the premises to get escorted off by the police or anything so she’s made a false police report against me and I will be filing a lawsuit and I’m getting 4 and 6 and 10 involved in it to And I want to know where I done anything to her to be escorted off that promises because nothings ever been done to anybody on there not even been there to do anything And I’m falling I’ll sit on the bed on the behalf of my belongings that you guys sold because I was never fair warning that it was being sold until the day of or two days before and she told me that we could come in the next Thursday and pay it and she wouldn’t had an option or stuff off anyways it’s OK cause I’m fine if I want these lawsuits guarantee that and she only got 10.00 for my thing but I told that I would give her a lot more then 10.00David S. | Overall Experience

We were told we have an 10 x 15 x 10 storage unit. We were happy with this. However, when we came to get the unit we were told we could not have this unit. There was an over reserved for our unit. There two other people reserved for the unit we told we would have. We were given a smaller unit. Everything did not fit. We had to take things home in our car. It took two trips. Overall, everything went well with helpful staff, and the facility is very clean, well lit, and secure. My only issue was that when making the reservation over the phone I specifically asked if this location was accessible 24-hours and was told yes.
