We had to bring the truck back twice and to a gas station once due to a flat tire. Truck was shaking driving it. The tire only had 10 pounds of air in it instead of 90. The guy told us we could keep it longer for our troubles. THEREFORE WE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR TWO PERIODS! We are owed a refund of 39.95 and two more 10.00 credits for having to come back to the location twice. We are requesting a refund of 59.95. IT IS THE LEAST THEY CAN Do!Justin A.

Customer service agent had a piss poor attitude, wouldn't allow me to rent one for three days,would only rent me one for 24 hrs at a time, then we I made reservation on line to rent another from them they declined renting one, then charged me 57.00 dollars plus late fees, has be worst place I've done business, wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone, piss poor attitudes ,the manager attitude was the sameDennis R.
Was talked in to a climate controlled unit after requesting outside unit which was more expensive. Was not warned about pesticide being sprayed regularly on the units and have allergy to these and trying to remove from soft furnishings is difficult. The payment date could not be adjusted and because they won't take a partial month's payment, I payed a full month for the final 5 days I was in the unit. And though climate controlled with heat in winter, there did not appear to be air conditioning in summer.lori r. | Overall Experience
I was told I would have a lock inside of the unit but there was not. Hopefully they got my message to put a lock on it so I could pick up the keys. Was not able to get there today for the keys. Told me they never received a call concerning transfer of my reserve., and that they had no availability ((over booked)either. Also their phones were out of order. The truck that I reserved was not there at the time it was scheduled to be picked up. I also got charged for a dolly that wasn't even in the truck and i have tried calling the store multiple times and have gotten no answer!brittany H.

first off they issued me the incorrect truck, had a law enforcement office try to take me away as they thought the truck was stolen, now I am having to close my credit card, due to the six charges that appeared. at this point I am filing a police report and contacting an attny. do not rent from thereCARL C.

They wrote the mileage wrong on the truck in order to charge me for extra miles that I didn't even drive. Drove at maximum 25 miles but was charged for over 100. Watch out for this place, clearly these people can't be trusted.Arlaina D.
Terrible customer service. Employees were more concerned about being on the phone and talking to each other than helping customers. The return process also doesn't work if you don't have enough storage on your phone which is something people should know in the futureBrandon N.
It seemed understaffed which is not a reflection on employees. This made it tough to get help and any questions answered. Also, one of the employees told me I could lift the trailer from the ground after packing it which I think is incredibly incorrect and I'm glad I did not listen to him.Connor D.

The truck I rented had a headlight out. I was unable to fill up the gas after use because I got pulled over by the cops on the way to the gas station and they told me to take the truck straight back to U-Haul because it is not legal to drive with a headlight out. I got charged by U-Haul for the gas anyways. I'm just happy I didn't get a ticket instead. The truck I rented from the same location last time was used by someone to move an animal. There were streaks of manure on the walls and was not cleaned before I picked up the truck. Both times I rented closely to U-Haul closing because I work second shift. I had no choice but to keep both trucks. Probably won't rent from the Georgesville location in the future. Do no recommend anyone else does.Aaron M.
The staff at the Columbus and Cleveland Heights locations were wonderful. Our move out was kind of last minute and there were a lot of logistics that needed to be worked out. They were very helpful and professional and kind which we really appreciated. The workers that hitched trailer failed to secure it to my two on my truck so when the trailer was fully loaded with equipment and I was doing 60 miles an hour on the highway the hitch came completely off the ball and I nearly crashed in there everybody on the highway. I told the girl my return time was 9pm and we got it back around 8pm. Either way, the store was CLOSED and she did not indicate it would be so I was really confused because the 24-7 directions aren't very big (at least big enough to read from the truck). I've been here multiple times lately, and I think it gets worse each time due to one worker in particular. I had gone in asking for a rental truck, and instead of asking what size I needed, the person at the counter had told me "we don't have anything," after looking at her computer for maybe 15 seconds. I went outside, got on the website, made a reservation with no problem for the truck I needed with a pickup time of a few minutes from then and came back in. She asked the new person helping me what truck the 1-800 number gave me, when I didn't even have to call them. Please actually figure out what a customer needs before trying to send them out the door.CAITLIN S.

The employees were helpful in assisting me to pick up my Uboxes and returning them. However, I had contacted the company to ask for delivery of the Uboxes and was told I only needed 24-hour notice to ask for delivery to my new address. Unfortunately when I tried to have it delivered the route was full and could not be delivered on the day I needed it. It would be best to give advance notice of more than 24 hours if you need delivery on a particular day.Aaron G.

Unit was not ready on the day it was supposed to be in my contract requested online(Friday). I was told there would be a unit indoors available the next day as there were no outdoor pull up units that were or would be ready (this is what I ordered. They told me to return the next day , Saturday. On Saturday, they told me I had an outdoor unit ready. Then they charged me for the first months rent despite me reserving under a free first month promotion, had to have that reversed. Then they gave me an ID card to swipe in/out of the security for the unit. I tried to use the card, did not work, walked back inside and told them, they said it was just a delay in the system to so re try it in a couple mins. I then retried it, still didn't work. I went back in and found a different employee and told them I was not sure the one helping game was doing things correctly, and they immediately told me that the ID cards hadn't been working on my unit for some time so I would need an access code. Access code finally worked. As a last disappointment, when I unlocked my storage unit, the tag on it said it had been cleaned/inspected over 2 weeks ago (which means it was likely available the first day when I had driven to check in). This location is very poorly organized and cost me an extra day of time along with 15 dollars in gas to drive my one way rental back to them a second day due to their poor organization. Everything was great except for my check out. The unit was in my name, but my husband verbally told someone we were checking out. I called when he got home and was told I had to go in to the site for a walk through. I drove over to the facility and when I got there, I checked my email while in line waiting my turn. The only issue I had with Uhaul was that when I first got my storage unit I made staff aware that I was only going to need storage for two months and that a week ago I broke my sacrum and cocoxy and requested a closer storage unit because walking was very difficult and extremely painful and the woman who assigned my storage unit put me clear in the back of the building.Jami M. | Overall Experience

Well I will be Filing a lawsuit because your Manager for that store on Georgesville Road called and the way she talked to my husband was uncalled for and then they say I’m not allowed on the premises I’ve never been on the premises to get escorted off by the police or anything so she’s made a false police report against me and I will be filing a lawsuit and I’m getting 4 and 6 and 10 involved in it to And I want to know where I done anything to her to be escorted off that promises because nothings ever been done to anybody on there not even been there to do anything And I’m falling I’ll sit on the bed on the behalf of my belongings that you guys sold because I was never fair warning that it was being sold until the day of or two days before and she told me that we could come in the next Thursday and pay it and she wouldn’t had an option or stuff off anyways it’s OK cause I’m fine if I want these lawsuits guarantee that and she only got 10.00 for my thing but I told that I would give her a lot more then 10.00David S. | Overall Experience
