Vehicle pickup went smoothly - no complaints. However, upon returning the truck the next morning (when the store had been open for 2 hours), there were 7 trucks lined up waiting in the return lane - including 1 large truck completely blocking the return lane several spaces back which necessitated me reversing and driving through the unpaved area in the far back of the lot to join the line. The lone lot worker was initially nowhere to be found, and I waited about 10 minutes for him to finally appear at the return area. HIRE MORE LOT WORKERS.

The 15ft uhaul I was given was in poor shape. There was damage to back door witch made it hard to open and close. The uhaul had exhaust issues and was extremely loud. The pipe was completely discconected from the catalytic converter. It was embarrassing driving down the freeway. It so so loud that I couldn't even talk on the phone with my boss or wife . I just can't beielve they would rent out a veichle in that condition. The manager was really nice and the workers got me in and out real quick.

Had a reservation add another facility 4 the cargo van. That reservation was changed to the 10 ft box truck which was too tall to fit in the location I needed to go in. Stopped off at this location on Good Hope and she was able to get me the cargo van that I requested to begin with.

I guess I didn't read the fine print I didn't know it I went over the estimated miles I would be charged $1.19 per mile. Wish It would of been pointed out to me since this was my first time renting.

Hire workers who are professional and have better customer services skills. I came into the store and dealt with long wait time, attitude from the workers. I even saw supervisor yelling and talking bad to their employees. I was their to get my reservation truck and waited for over a hour. This location needs help I recommend using a undercover shopper

A busy Friday before Memorial Day. There needed to be more than one person at the counter. While she was efficient and knowledgeable, there was no way she could take care of all the customers in line with their individual service needs. I had an appointment to pick up a van at 10:00. I was there at 10:15, and waited in line until 10:30. She gave me the keys with the number of the van, and sent me out in the lot. I could not find it because the number was not on the front of the van, like the others. I tried to look in the back, but could not get back there because there was no room between the fence and the back of the van. I went back in to inform her that I could not locate the van. She immediately alerted someone to help. He came to help right away. When he found it, and started it for me, I asked him what I should do with the 3-fold cardboard sign covering the front windshield. Instead of taking it out for me, he said, "Just put it behind the van." I was surprised that he did not do it for me. It was starting to rain, and I asked, "Are you sure, it's going to rain today?" He responded, "Yeah". The van was easy to drive, but I could have used some instruction about how to work the windshield wipers/lights/basic controls. When I returned the van, I drove into the green tent, as instructed by the lot directions. I had to go in to ask if anyone was going to check me out. Basically, not a lot of customer service. They acted like I knew what to do. I have never rented a U-Haul before. I am an intelligent person, but did not feel customer service treated me with intelligent respect. I would use Haul again, but not this one.

Staff very rude and when complained basically told management won't do nothing about it! I was also charged $25 additional dollar as they stated I did not bring back where point of gas was when I left. However when got into vehicle the gas line was as such

Decrease wait time! When a person reserves on-line & then comes into the U-Haul store and still has to wait over 30 minutes that’s unacceptable! Having only one customer service representative during a high peak time is bad management. Doubt if U-Haul will change anything or make improvements as this is the same complaint I’ve experienced in the past. Also, while waiting the 30+ minutes I decided to poll the 7 people standing in line and all had the same compliant—> Wait time is too long!

The people, actual humans and not online chat, at this location are very good, very kind and very helpful. The van I received after a total screwup from another location smelled heavily from cigarettes and the weatherstripping on the rear doors kept falling down and getting in the way. The air conditioning worked very well. I would use this location again but only in store, I would not ever attempt another Uhaul 24/7 Pickup.

I loved the super easy check out and return process. Doing everything from your phone was amazing. It almost came in handy when the front counter clerk wouldn't immediately get off her cell phone.

Took my auto in for a hitch installation at the appointed time. No one at the facility could drive a manual transmission. Calling the facility, both before and after, I delivered the car, I got no response. Was told the car would be ready for pick in two or three hours, with a phone call to me when it was ready. After four hours I called them, but it took 11 minutes to get through. They said it was ready. When I got there, it was not ready. They had had my car for 5 hours. Other customers were waiting at the service-counter. And now after getting home I realize that they put the wrong stud-length, but right ball-size on this vehicle. The mechanic and sales-person were competent and cordial, but the service was terrible. I''ll plan to go to another U-Haul tomorrow to get this problem fixed. Sorry to be so negative today. I've had great experiences with other U-Haul fascilities in S.E. Wisconsin in the past few years. It seems you do not staff this particularl location quite adequately. Please reply.

Customer service. When someone calls in multiple times for the same issue, it would be helpful to be able to speak to the same representative. Once there are multiples, things get lost and wrong information is given. This whole u-box experience was a disaster from start to finish. I will never get another box again.

No one greeted me when I came inside the location. Two men were behind the counter having a personal conversation with each other and did acknowledge me until I said something. Then I had questions about the amount I was billed and I was told to send an email and it’s been two weeks and still have not heard back from anyone.

It was not the equipment or any one else except the customer service named Patrice Henry. Someone name Bobby and another attended was very pleasant. I understand the line was long and and she was working by herself, thats no excuse for rudeness. When I walked in the rental office there was no one in there. When she walk in there was then about 4 customer in line behind me. She ask me if I had a reservation. I explained to her that I was on hold for 50 minutes so I decided to drive to the location since I lived only about 3miles away. The real problem was that she told me I had to wait until she did all of her reservation first. After standing for about 20 minute I ask her do I have to stand there until she was done with her reservation customer. People were still coming in. I waited for about another 15-20 min. She waited on me. Before that the service man had said to me that did have a vehicle that I wanted available. I am an older woman and just felt mistreated to the extreme. Some one can call if you like. Thank you.

Everyone at the Good Hope U-Haul location was courteous, professional, and efficient, something that in my past experience other locations have lacked. I even dropped my phone in the lot prior to leaving, and they had it waiting for me a few minutes later, running it out to the truck. Excellent service, everything went smoothly and for such a busy location, I couldn't be happier. Well done!

Customer service is poor and needs to be improved. Sherritta or whom ever she is I spoke with an hour before my reservation to see if I could pick up early. She told me it wasn’t there yet and she’ll call when it arrives. I called back at 5:50 and she kept me on hold until I arrived at 7:10 only because I didn’t want to travel so far and the truck would not be available. When I get there she talked to me through the door because I was late. Once she found out I had reservations she let me inside. I was told to go find my truck with no direction as to where it could be parked. Then I get where I was going to find out the dolly I rented was not inside the truck. So I had to use the little dolly on the truck. What an inconvenience. All this caused me to be late on everything I had going on. Eventually the truck was returned at 6:30 instead of 4:30, like I received it. This location is in need of a management makeover.

There should not be a long wait for a representative to come to the counter. Representatives should be energetic and professional when vehicles are dropped off. I only picked up a bed from the furniture store and the rep asked me “ what did you have in here, chicken wings?” I have to spray! That’s rude! As she was smoking a cigarette!

I intially only ordered 1 pod but ended up needed 2. At the time the Good Hope location did not have a working forklift therefore I had to borrow a friends truck durable enough to pull a bed with 2 Pods on it even though I only needed 1. Nobody called to scehdule the drop off time for my pods in Texas. I had to make numerous calls in effort to obtain a drop off time on the promised date due to have movers set up. Finally on the day of, i got a call an hour before time (10am) stating the Pods would be dropped off at 11. This was not enough time for me to schedule time to leave work in time to meet the driver. The driver blew up my phone, calling mulitple times rushimg me, asking where i was and finally decided to drop the Pods off without me even being their. Stated she had other appointments to make. So many different charges on my credit card it was hard to keep up with how much I actuallu owed. Then Uhaul proceeded to keep charging my credit card multiple times for a "storage rental" in which i never obtained a storage rental from Uhaul. I had to keep calling to get the charges reveresed. Currently STILL waiting on a call back to have yet ANOTHER charge reveresed for a storage rental even though the manager said this issue was taken care of. Thru all this trouble, I shouldve just paid the extra cost and went to Upac. Cheaper is not always the best way to go.

If you return a truck after hours it’s a nightmare. I have rented two cargo vans within the last week and on both occasions returned the truck after hours. They checked both in and charged me an extra day each time. Regardless to the fact the trucks were on the lot before they opened! You would think they would check to see what time the vehicle was returned rather than just checking it in when they have time! This last vehicle was returned at 5:15pm on 3/3 (15 minutes after they closed and 5 minutes before my contract expired) but was checked in at 6:45am on 3/4 and charged and extra day. As far as staff, the staff is very friendly and the store is always clean. But the checkin needs some serious help.
