Overall experience was fair. I was charged $10 for an appliance dolly I never received. I forgot about it until I drove the Uhaul off the property, my friend had one so I did not go back to retrieve the one I ordered with Uhaul.

For the most part the experience was okay. My issues were not consistent enough to give a "No" response to some of the above questions even though if there was a rating scale of 1 - 5, this location would be in the middle or lower. There was some kind of water leak into the indoor unit that I had that soaked the lower stacked boxes. The boxes then collapsed under the weight of the boxes on top and some thing got crushed. Clothing ended up having mold in them. All of the boxes on the floor were stuck to the floor and things that were wood had water damage. Dealing with the staff was a crap shoot. In person I've never had a problem. Especially in leaving the facility for the last time. That gentleman was VERY helpful. Any conversation over the phone was met with hostility. When a mistake, that was not mine was made, I was met with a nasty attitude.

More the one person to check customers in and out. Took forever. Customer should not have to take pictures of damage to truck beforehand. Explain to customer that there is a charge if zip tie is broken on dolly in truck you will be charged. We knew this so had our own.

Absolutely horrible experience. Did the self service, no contact option of picking the truck up through the app. When we got to the truck designated, an employee was sitting in it with the engine idling and smoking a cigarette. Had to wait in a long line to swap it out. When the counter agent “changed” the truck, we went back outside and she had assigned us the same smoky truck. Everyone working there seemed miserable and unapologetic. The whole process took about an extra 45 minutes, all because one of your employees wanted to smoke a cigarette in the warmth of a trucks heater, rather than smoking outside.

I was very surprised to see $20 fee for returning equipment outside business hours. First, if there's a fee, I could be told about it - I was not. Second, no one had to wait for me or do anything out of the ordinary - I dropped the car at the parking lot, but it was checked during the business hours... So, I am very dissatisfied with this fee.

The young man was very rude when I returned the van. I had to walk back inside to ask where do I give the keys too. I walked back outside after the young man at the counter said he was out side . I then knocked on the window because the young man was in there on his phone and not paying attention. He opened the door and took the key, didn't say hello thank you or anything. Very unprofessional. But the two men at the counter was professional and helpful.

Uhaul reassure me that my first month of rent was free,it was not. The inconveniences of having to pay storage unit I had just payed$780. To rent the truck and 200 dollar for tolls and gas. I really didn't appreciate the false advertising.

I don't think that the truck was getting the maintenance it was supposed to be getting. Approximately 900 mi into the journey, the dashboard started displaying "Check Fuel Cap" even though the cap was securely installed. The warning never went away. in fact, the "Check Engine" light came on when I dropped the truck off. Thank God the journey was completed before that light came on.

Make sure the uhaul i rent is there for me to use. I had to get moved further away to a different location. Also your after hours check in system wouldn't let me share my location even though nothing was wrong with my connection, browser, settings etc. I ended up starting to move 2 and a half hours later than my planned time bcus of all the problems by not having the truck ready. The original location on capital is the one I am mostly referring too. The good hope location was almost the same

The pick-up truck was not clean. There were stains of toothpaste on the driver seat and the cabin smelled like it the whole time. Also, the truck was not cleaned from outside.

Even though I had a reservation at 8, the store didn't have my truck so I had to come back at 10:30 and because there was only one person working we waited in line until 11:30. By the time we got to leave with the truck it was noon, 4 hours past my reservation with people waiting to help us move. The only good thing about it was the guy working was really nice and gave us a discount.

There were ONLY two people working in the morning, they were very nice, but totally overworked trying to cover everything. To schedule only two people to cover a huge U-Haul facility on a Saturday Morning is VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. When I came to return my rental at NOON, the line for service was out the front door!

Better service counter help. Vehicle was not in the located as stated on the map. Took me almost 1 hrs just to get the keys to the rental truck. Had to walk 4 times back and forth to the inside service desk and the outdide truck lot. At the end the keys was hang on the wall inside the service desk.

This was not the original location for my request. Upon arriving to the Germantown location, I had to wait as parts were missing from the trailer. The worker ran to the store to get the parts, in which it still didn't work. I then had to go to a new location at the last minute. No communication or warning. Very ridiculous.

Only one employee working on a Saturday she was working all three counters. Took a lot longer than expected. Since my pick-up location was changed by you, they attempted to charge me for two rentals and since she was helping other customers at the same time as me it took an extremely long time for her to correct the mistake.

Got an auto carrier and they didn't know how to load the auto carrier or how to tie the car down. I had to load the car and go to another location to make sure it was on ok. Also, was supposed to pick up the u-haul at 10:00am. Had to wait till 11:30 am. The help was helping 3 people at once and not paying attention ton what they were doing.

The check-in experience was a little slow. There was a long line and only one person working the counter. When I got to the counter, they checked myself and one other person in at the same time, which sped it up for the person behind me. In general, I had a good experience.

I ended up at the Good Hope location due to the failure of the people at the people at the North Port Washington Road to show up for work. I showed up on time and waited outside the location for 45 minutes. I called the UHaul help line and was on hold there for 20 minutes after which my call dropped. Complete failure of the owner and UHaul support. I then went to the Good Hope location where they were able to help and get me a truck in short order.

Majority of the household and personal items I had in storage for safe keeping , I had to trash away due to extreme amounts of rodent feces and damage caused by it. Aside from it I felt hassled a month ago I received a call from an agent who was very rude and augmentative. Out of that it event I was prompted to end my contract with U-Haul. Thanks for the storage. I will definitely try somewhere else next time.
