There were ONLY two people working in the morning, they were very nice, but totally overworked trying to cover everything. To schedule only two people to cover a huge U-Haul facility on a Saturday Morning is VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. When I came to return my rental at NOON, the line for service was out the front door!
Better service counter help. Vehicle was not in the located as stated on the map. Took me almost 1 hrs just to get the keys to the rental truck. Had to walk 4 times back and forth to the inside service desk and the outdide truck lot. At the end the keys was hang on the wall inside the service desk.
This was not the original location for my request. Upon arriving to the Germantown location, I had to wait as parts were missing from the trailer. The worker ran to the store to get the parts, in which it still didn't work. I then had to go to a new location at the last minute. No communication or warning. Very ridiculous.
You need a new manager he was very rude and doesn't know how to talk to people and isn't a problem solver very poor customer service it's always important in a business!
For someone like me who rents 3/4 trucks a week I would expect better prices and to be given better equipment
Only one employee working on a Saturday she was working all three counters. Took a lot longer than expected. Since my pick-up location was changed by you, they attempted to charge me for two rentals and since she was helping other customers at the same time as me it took an extremely long time for her to correct the mistake.
Got an auto carrier and they didn't know how to load the auto carrier or how to tie the car down. I had to load the car and go to another location to make sure it was on ok. Also, was supposed to pick up the u-haul at 10:00am. Had to wait till 11:30 am. The help was helping 3 people at once and not paying attention ton what they were doing.
The check-in experience was a little slow. There was a long line and only one person working the counter. When I got to the counter, they checked myself and one other person in at the same time, which sped it up for the person behind me. In general, I had a good experience.
The new key pick up procedure was terrible. Couldn't get the lock off after using the code. Had to get assistance (great) from one of the crew members. Thats going to be an issue going forward when it gets cold.
Scheduled pick-up for 8 AM. Store was supposed to be open at 7 AM. Employee showed at about 8:20 AM. Did not receive any paperwork regarding the mileage or fuel level.
I ended up at the Good Hope location due to the failure of the people at the people at the North Port Washington Road to show up for work. I showed up on time and waited outside the location for 45 minutes. I called the UHaul help line and was on hold there for 20 minutes after which my call dropped. Complete failure of the owner and UHaul support. I then went to the Good Hope location where they were able to help and get me a truck in short order.
How about showing up for work and or hiring people that do. The check engine light was on, there was no gas in the truck!! I will never rent from you again. The only one employee with even mentioning is the guy that checked me out at the end of the day, he is AMAZING!!!
Did not have the truck I reserved and gave me a smaller Size requiring me to take two trips. Did not have the furniture dolly i reserved. I waited in line for 90 minutes to get the truck over an hour after my reservation time. Charged me double than what was on my reservation with unclear reason why.
Unorganized, computer glitches, long lines, understaffed, the clerks and staff did their best, the system failed, poor communication between staff. Need more efficient system, yours is not working!
Cell service here is horrible so it make check in incredibly difficult. Also the lock on the back of the truck that requires the 4 letter code was jammed. Horse a piece for socially distance check in vs in store. The line was long in the store but it took us just as long to do it ourselves. When it shouldn't have.
Wasted an hour waiting for someone to show up. Was told to go through the phone by someone else to get remote help. The website was confusing. Almost had to cancel order and reorder. I didn't get the free month of storage applied to order, nor my complimentary lock. Would like reimbursement for both
Hadn't done a van rental under Covid conditions. Would have liked a heads-up regarding new check-in requirements including taking pictures of one's Drivers license which (for a senior like myself) were not obvious.
Manager, had taken care of the situation, between training an individual and customer care.

Miss Herny the store manager customer service sucks. Her as well as the staff is 90% of the time on their phone. And Miss Henry's attitude is trash
This location incorrectly charged an additional day on a trailer rental, which I returned before the time due, I was told by the on site person, nothing needed to sign in. Once I received the incorrect email , I contacted 923050_GM@uhaul.com James Thomas Sr. with no response. So I called customer service and they shared James Thomas Sr, would call me. No call. It has been 5 days. with no response. I cannot think of a more blatent act of poor serevice than stealing from your customers.
