My original reservation was 1000 the day of rental, due to the line I was not able to even leave the store until 1030 and I arrived at 0940. The return time for the next day was 0900 and was told at time of quote that it would be 1000, this put us at a disadvantage so we had to return the night of the rental around midnight.LISA MARIE B.
The GM went above and beyond to accommodate me. I showed up at the wrong location. The general manager was not chatty or overly talkative, but provided us with great customer service regardless of my mistake. The location is great. The concept of getting the vehicle online and not interacting didn't go so well. I ended up having to go inside to obtain the truck key. The person who assisted me couldn't be bothered to disconnect from his personal phone call while helping me. That was annoying. It was if people moved as if they didn't care today.Christine G.
The rep that the Van was returned to never input my info to close out the vehicle. I had the truck for a little over 2 hours and was back at the Uhaul facility at 12:30p. The young man was sitting on his car playing and on his phone. Never took the time to close my ticket. I had to go back to the location at 6:55p to make sure that it was taken care of and my email confirmation was received. He was very unprofessional. I deal with this location all the time. Never dealt with this person before. Was not pleased that I had check to make sure my rental was closed out. :(ROBINLYNELL S.

The staff at this location had poor customer service. The young lady who checked me in gave me a sarcastic answer to a question I had. The gentleman who did the return did not great me when I entered. He completed the transaction without saying a word to me. Unpleasant, not warm nor welcoming & didn't seem to care. Very different from the level of service I have received in the past from other locations. The only one who was friendly and professional was chris the guy who helped inspect the vehicle.Ceasar N.

I waited outside for 10 minutes because the sing said to do that. I decided after waiting that I might as well go inside to see what the hold up was. There were 5 staff members standing around talking and not being helpful. I walked up to a girl at a computer and said I was here to drop off. She said okay your are done. Took the keys and pretty much ignored me. Didn't ask to check the truck or anything so I took pics before I left just in case. Very sketchy.Kendall P.

I received the truck on E with no gas I had to fill up for almost $100 twice then when I returned it I get charged for not having a quarter tank. I believe that was so absurd. Rating is about my storage units: Office and grounds were clean. Staff was helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend the storage units be inspected before renting. Some of my items got wet / mold due to the unit next storage (according to office mgr. heavy rain.) My unit also had loose insulation hanging down. I needed to inspect the units (3) before renting. After reserving our storage unit AND calling twice the day we were arriving once we arrived we were told there wasn't a unit available. We were told that since we didn't work directly with this facility they couldn't guarantee there would be anything available. I explained that while we didn't work directly with this facility the UHaul person that was helping us did in fact work directly with Corban at this facility when the reservation was made. After well over an hour they found a unit for us but there was no sense of urgency, there was very little communication as to what was happening. We had 3 carloads of people waiting to help us unload the truck as this was the first night of the holiday weekend and everyone had plans for the weekend but still there was no sense of urgency. In addition to that once we got the truck unloaded at pulled it out front it was 8:12 PM and the two remaining employees were getting ready to leave but because it was 12 minutes after closing they weren't interested in actually helping me get the truck checked in. They they told me if I couldn't figure it out they would check it in the next morning for a $20. fee! I did not get the vehicle checked in on line as the email I rec'd didn't have a link to do so so I took pictures of the truck, mileage and gas gauges and dropped the keys in the drop box. I was not charged the $20 fee thankfully but the entire experience once arriving at the Greenbrier facility was not good at all. Also, there was another customer there who had made a reservation and taken time off work to be at her appointment at the Greenbrier facility and she was told her reservation wasn't available either. Same story, she worked with a UHaul Rep that answered the phone for the Greenbrier facility after being on hold for 25 minutes and made her reservation for her. The employee's said that the system in place doesn't work because it doesn't accurately depict what is available it's just a guesstimate and that UHaul counts on people not showing up so they overbook. I feel like that's a terrible way to run a storage business when people are moving and counting on their reservations. I will tell you that our experience when returning our first truck and talking with Corban was extremely pleasant and informative and Corban was very attentive and helpful quite unlike the employee's when we arrived with a full 26' truck...Karen D. | First Impressions
