The general manager is not knowledgeable concerning policy for Uhaul. He likes to argue with customers and could not produce the policy concerning locks cutting locks. Very unprofessional.Debora C. | Overall Experience
My unit had rips in the ceiling material which allowed my items to get mold. When asked about it by insurance company, they proceeded to say roof is metal. No one was talking about the outer roof. The discussion is about the inner ceiling where items are stored. I have stored items at U-Haul facilities for years and never had this happen. You would think the company would compensate or assist in compensation for your loss. No. Instead they bill you for another month and call it abandonment when you tell them you already moved out on the same day you left. But instead I get annoying calls and emails demanding payment when I no longer used unit. I had no lock on unit further occupying. The items that were in there were molded items that no one would touch. My movers wouldn't touch them per their policy at all and I wasn't able to either. The manager was told this and still chose to continue billing as if unit was still being used with a lock. Then they ask you to come in to sign abandonment paperwork. What abandonment? They did not have the truck I needed the person there was very helpful, made appropriate suggestions and helped me find one U haul that had what I needed. I found it to be bizarre that I for some reason rented a similar vehicle less than three days before but for some reason I needed to provide two emergency contacts that were required to be called before I could go about my day at 8am . And the people behind me didn't have to deal with that wonder why .This locations parking is beyond ridiculous there was no where for me to leave my vehicle I had to wait for someone to leave so I could park my vehicle and go as the spot I intended to use was snatched by a different customer leaving a handicap space and a lot to which the GM only response when asked if it's safe to park there as other uhaul vehicles were there " were not responsible for damages " very comfortingJASON T.

Checking in was easy in San Antonio. Everyone was amazing! It was Houston when we started having issues. Our unit was already assigned to someone. We made it it Houston from San Antonio at 10:42 and we got the run around even though we called in advance and got everything confirmed. We ended up spending unnecessary money on a hotel because we kept calling the manager on duty for the night and she wouldn't pick up her phone. We got her number from Victoria who just got promoted and was no longer working at that location. We ended up keeping the truck longer than we wanted. When it was time to check the truck in it showed I didn't have an active reservation and had to call customer service who walked me through it, but kept me on hold and never got back with me after our gate code wouldn't work to get out. It was an overall horrible experience. I will NEVER use this company again. We kept getting the run around when we made it to Houston and spending way to much money on a hotel instead of taking care of our business because we couldn't unload our truck.KAMESHIA G. | First Impressions

The staff at Greens point were amazing. If it was not for the in convince of a 45 minute commute between locations this score would be 5 stars. This was not the location we booked. It was 45 min drive from the original location and we were very frustrated and disappointed that we were not notified of the change ahead of time. We were notified when we pulled up to the Kingwood location. This caused a lot of issues and a lot of stress in an already stressful day.TRINA B.

I purchased Uhaul vehicle insurance, and was told at the counter that insurance I purchased would cover any and all damages to the vehicle. The tire had a blowout. When I took truck back to location I was told again that insurance would cover it. Without any update or explanation I was charged $481 for damages. I spoke with Manager and was advise that I would not be covered under policy I purchased. This is very upsetting to be told one thing at the counter and something completely different happening. Employees at counter were very unprofessional and maintained personal conversations with friends on phone while they were checking me in/out. Very poor customer service overall.RICKY R.

As a former employee of Uhaul, I was very disappointed in the condition of the truck I received. It was dirty, steeringwheel was sticky and cab and windows had not been cleaned. After I placed a reservation at another facility, I showed up at the Greenspoint location.. Dominique met me at the desk and quickly informed me that I was not in their system. She proceeded to offer her assistance in obtaining me a comparable unit. Khrystopher was called to approve the selection. He then gave me a discount and I ended up paying less than the other place had quoted. Unfortunately the unit was not available and we were not immediately able to obtain another unit of the sq ft. I was offered a larger unit at no extra cost. In the end, their patience, hard work and determination to make an almost impossible situation made, possible...WOW! It takes going above and beyond to impress me. Impression made!! Thank you to Khrystopher and Dominique. You brought your A game and took customer service to the next level! I made my reservation online 5 days in advance and when I got there, the employee told me that they didn't have any trucks available and that he was the only one on duty and didn't have the time to check the reservations so he gave the trucks to people who walked in and reserve. What a horrible service there at the Greenspoint location. He asked me to go to a different location! Really?? I had the movers waiting for me and this guy asked me to simply go to another location. Sandra was very rude to me when I return the truck. Her approach was very nasty, she doesn't have any customer service skill. I was trying to have a conversation with her she was ignored me. I was trying to let her know that when I pick up the truck I didn't check the back. Due to me doing my order with Uhual truck share, and I through it was ready to go. Once I got home I notice it was two pallets in the back. So we remove the two pallets so we cause move our furniture to the new location. Once we finish we placed the pallets back to return it back to the location. Sandra told me that that clean the truck this morning and that she know for a fact that them pallet was not there. I asked her to call the GM that cleaned the trucks this morning. She called the GM, I asked cause she put the phone on speaker so I could hear what was said Sandra got an attitude and said this girl what to talk to you. When the phone was placed on speaker for me to talk with the GM she knew what kind of pallets and the size of the pallets that was in the truck. The GM told Sandra to put the pallets in the trash and that she would deal with it when she return back to work. I was treated really bad by Sandra, she never address by my name it was always lil girl or that girl. After talking with the GM I tried talking with Sandra about my receipt begin email to she never answer me. Sandra needs customer service training and how do an assistant manager act like that with a customer. I will never go back or recommend anybody to go there. Cause it seems as if Sandra was trying to charge me more money for something I did not do. I just glad I did just leave without talking with the GM who was the person that clean out the truck... Yes the truck was clean besides the pallets that was in the back of the uhaul truck...ASHLEY B.
