Customer service is mediocre at best. Try to get people to use complete sentences and use words rather than gestures. Cut down on wait times. When I arrived I was the only person in the shop but waited forever while the only person behind the counter was on the phone with another customer. When I came to drop off the shop was quite full and there were two people behind the counter but I still waited a really long time only to be told â€œno you're good just leave it where you found itâ€. That wasn't the procedure I was told when I picked up my rental and it would have been more efficient if you just had a notice up saying â€œleave it where you found itâ€.Hubert V.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The grounds and inside storage facility are kept very clean. Even the public restroom was tidy and stocked!! The coded electronic doors give added security. 3 hours to install a hitch. While I was waiting. People up front are very helpful but 3 hours is really bad because it was up on the lift within 5 minutes of getting there so i was first in line. And you only get charged for one hour so the average time must be that or less.Christopher F.

This was our worst rental ever from you guys. The blankets were gone from the back once we got to the location so i called to make them aware and they said the account would be noted. The truck shook once you hit 40 plus mph. It had 1 headlight out and the box leaked when raining. The truck also had a dog poop odor in the cab. The oil light also came on when i was on way back yo return. I was very disappointed with my experience this time.JEFFREY D.

To whom it may concern, I have rented from U haul at least 9 or 10 times in 2021, and never had an issue, However, when I went to turn in this truck the attendant was very rude & unprofessional! There was a white guy & a black guy on duty, I am referring to the black guy, I had questions about the payment terms & he wouldn't answer my questions, he just said that is what you owe player, he obviously has gotten too comfortable with his little job!!!, definitely needs an attitude adjustment I will never go back to that location!NONE F.

Customer service was abrupt and rude. The van was not up to date on service and felt unsafe to drive. The tires were severely misaligned and low on air. The oil needed to be changed on the van, and was alerting the driver as such on the dash. The van smelled so strongly of cigarettes that we had to drive a with the windows down. We had to drive to 3 different locations before we were able to get our trailer. The location that we booked at did not have any trailers left and we had to call uhaul customer service two different times to finally get directed to a store that had one available. We drove around town for over an hour and a half on a scavenger hunt to where uhaul told us to go before we finally got a trailer. Absolutely ridiculous. 0/10 would recommend.JESSE S.

When i rented my storage unit, i was pleased that it had 24hr access. 2 weeks after i rented the unit i showed up to a big sign on the door saying this facility is no longer 24hr access. I said wow i didnt get any kinda notice or warning. And also, with the shortage of trucks on the weekend, i couldnt get a reservation until 5:15pm and i had to move a little the same day and the rest the next day. All of this occured because of the facility closing at 7th. When asked why the facility changed hours, they're only response was because people dont know how to act. The associates were deploringly rude and terrible at their jobs at pick up, phone call to verify drop off time would be kept and drop off! Both employees acted as though they did not like nor want to their job. They had disgusting attitudes as if we were inconveniencing their lives by being there. The female that called to verify drop off was extremely berating, pushy and for lack of better terms nosey as to the relation between myself and the other renter, our situation and if we were sure with our situation and where in our moving process we were in we would make it on time which was none of her business. We were actually 30 minutes early as opposed to her unappreciated concern. At drop off we got an ugly look and attitude as though we were stupid. We will never rent here again for our upcoming move even though it is extremely close to home and will let everyone we know about our horrible experience. Lemetri was a god send! I had a really bad move in situation - basically the apt was nowhere near in the condition it should have been. So one week I was picking up a van to move in and then rented a van again the next week to move back out! It was awful. I say all this to make the point the Lemetri was the only bright light of the situation! She was flexible and accommodating, there was a situation where another van was not returned when it should have been and resulted in a double booking - but she had a super creative solution ready to go that actually worked out BETTER for me in the long run. I ended up sweeping out the truck before turning it in because the floor was dirty when I picked it up. The wheels on the regular dolly were small and stiff, rendering it next to useless. I got charged for a full second day because I was about 45 minutes late. I am old, fully disabled, in constant pain and got stuck in traffic and they still charged me.Jeanette M.

The UHaul app consistently has problems allowing photos to be uploaded upon return. I couldn't check in my trailer after hours because of this. Then, even after calling Uhaul and being in a chat with Uhaul (since the local phone number only rings through to the national Uhaul line), 2 days later my trailer still had not been checked in. I had to drive to the Uhaul facility and wait in line to get my trailer checked in, which took more than an hour of my day. You really need to figure out what is wrong with the app because many people have the same problem with it's photo taking ability.BRIAN K.

The staff were great; the only issue we had was that stuff was taken from our storage unit and we found out it was a problem and no longer 24 hours because of that. Not to big of a deal because the Chattanooga location is amazing and always helpful! The drop off for our truck was in Athens Ga and that was terrible. The curly headed girl behind the counter had no clue what was going on. She told us to park the truck under the green tent and give her the keys. I asked several time if that’s all that needed to be done she said yes. We dropped of the truck on Sunday at 4:45. A day early. I was called literally 5 times since Monday people asking where the truck was. I explained that we dropped it off Sunday and everything, my husband also had a conversation with someone as well. Wiring job is a freaking joke!!! My 6 year old little girl could have done a better job!!! Wires butt spliced together with no shrink tube. Wire ran along bottom of frame where it can get caught by road debris. Wire ran through the suspension instead of properly around! Weather plug not put back in place. To use the trailer lights you have to pull the wires out of the trunk and down to the hitch rather than being properly mounted to the trailer hitch! I rented an 8x8x8 on the second floor for $84.95/mo. When I arrived I was informed there was no elevator, only stairs and I had heavy items. Nothing in the rental process indicated a lack of elevator service at the facility. The staff found a storage unit on the first floor that was 12 x 8 x 8 and I was quoted a price of $104.95/month. I agreed and when accessing the location, the ceiling was barely 6’ high, not the 8’ advertised. Ok, and when I checked out, I noticed a sign advertising that size locker at a rate of 124.95 and when she rang it up, it came up as 129.95/mo. When I asked the question about the difference in what she quoted, the sign, and the computer she yelled at me for asking the question and threatened to cancel my reservation. I explained that, as a customer, there were three conflicting amounts and all I did was ask a question. She then said, “that’s what the computer is printing out, I can’t do anything about that.
