We walked in without making any reservations and were told they had nothing available in the size we needed since all online reservations came first. We walked back to our car, got online and made a reservation for exactly what we needed and it was available at this location. How stupid is it that they told us they didn’t have it and then we set it up ourselves online? How is that helping customers that need something last minute? If it’s there and not being used, it should be first come first serve right? Just strange to us how it worked. No other issues after we picked up and dropped off.

Be sure to look at the location where you are to pick up your rental. I reserved on line for my home town. When I went there to pick it up the lady behind the counter said I was at the wrong spot. She looked it up for me and it was in the next town away.

HORRIBLE customer service. While in the middle of my rental I get a call from the guy at the store telling me that I screwed him over and all this stuff because he had a reservation when I had a reservation before the other people. I shouldn’t be getting calls harassing me because the employee didn’t calculate the number of car Dolly’s he had. Won’t use U-Haul again. Also got charged double

I am soooooooooooo livid angry that when I placed the order uhual and charged my card and stole $250 from my checking account for services that I did not want nor received. Then once you stole my money you not give it back to me

The one thing that needs improvement is one of the clerks was not very personable. Although he was nice he had no spark and acted like he wanted to be somewhere else or was bothered to be there. Maybe some customer service training. Ben was real nice along with the other guy. Sorry didn’t know the other guys names.

First and foremost I drove from Al to TN only to find out that I needed to have an extra $100 deposit that I was NOT aware of because no one clarified that when reserving the Uhaul. If it hadnt been for my grandmother I would have taken a 2hr drive for no reason!! We also checked our own truck out, no one came out to walk around the truck to make sure everything was ok they just told us to come back in and let them know if something was wrong. This was the worst check in I have had at Uhaul and if you check my history I have used you guys alot but will be looking else where on my next move!!

The seat in the truck was broken so I had to drive the entire trip leaning to one side. What address should I send my chiropractor bill to? Also, the truck had a speed control device that prevented the truck from going over 75mph which I was not made aware of when I rented it and which cost me extra time on my trip. When I mentioned these things to the attendant Richard London when I returned he responded as if I should be grateful that they weren't going to charge ME for these problems since I had paid for the insurance. He had no explanation as to why the tax charged was greater than the standard sales tax rate for the state and told me to take it up with corporate. He refused to give me any type of credit for my troubles and inconvenience due to the defective truck I paid for.

I was very pleased with the man who waited on me behind the desk. He was very friendly and helpful. The only issue I encountered was the 20 ft. truck I had reserved was not brought in, so I had to take a 26 ft. truck, which was way larger than I needed. I don't know why I was told to reserve to make sure that location had the truck, etc. I would need, when it seems the reservation doesn't really mean that you're going to get the truck you reserved/need anyway. The man who waited on us tried to see if another U Haul had a 20 ft. truck and he found one that had 8 on their lot, but it was further away from my house and it would have taken time I didn't have to go there and get it. He apologized about the truck I reserved not being there like it should have been and gave me a $50 discount, which was very much appreciated.
