I called and told them I would need trailer for 6 hours longer and they charged me for an entire day, I would have thought it should be prorated since they expected it back that day not the next day at 10:00 am.VONNIE H.
Everything I requested was not applied to my reservation. I booked the rental for 24 hours and was told I only booked it for 6 hours. I also requested a appliance dolly which was unavailable when I checked out. My move was unnecessarily rushed. The place we were supposed to drop it off at was abandoned. Sign said open but door was locked, no one answered the phone. Had to go to the above location and they were very helpful and inviting. She went way above the call of duty to help. We had to call the 1800 number to find out where to go since the place we were sent to was abandoned. What a joke. Sat on the phone for over an hour. Kept getting hung up on and sent to an international number. Finally looked up a uhaul place close by to find the above shop. Thank God she was great because the entire feascal was a crap show from the moment we were scheduled to pick up. Nothing at all went as planned or told. Would not recommend using UHaul unless it is your last result.clint D.

They even help me when I have left my keys at home and there was no extra time for the truck to be returned, Heidi took time to run me back to get my keys to my truck and brought me back to the Uhaul place, that is excellent customer Sevice. The service is good, they are very friendly, unfortunately they kept my license when I entered to check in and when I returned to deliver the equipment and ask for my license, it turned out that it was lost. It is an inconvenience, apart from the fact that although they have a local telephone number, your call always goes directly to the corporation and the waiting time is ridiculously no less than 47 minutes and sometimes they do not even answer, it is much easier to drive to the location. and fix it in person, they need to update their systems since they are pessimistic how to buy the use immediately after you deliver and after days they charge you for the one that remained in hold and then wait for 3 to 5 business days to get it back.Monica J.

The location took forever to get assistance when we first arrived and booking through the mobile app was also frustrating because I did not get approve after I already paid for the rental. The amount I was charged was way too high for my sake. They tell you that you put this much based off of mileage but you never really know how many trips you need so when you go over that you get charged again. Over $300 just for a 20' that seems way over priced and like an overall scam. The truck wasn't even gassed and I had to gas it twice which was extremely difficult to accept that I have to not only gas the vehicle to use it but when I also return it. I am better off hiring a company the next time I move, I thought using U-Haul would be a smart move for me and for my wallet.Dravette S.

My reservation location was changed due to a shortage of trucks. Completely understandable, but why send an 0800 reservation for online pickup to a location for hand delivery that doesn't open until 0900. Not the locations fault, but uhaul overall. What was the locations fault was leaving it on 1/16 of a tank of gas. You can check the contract. Literally what it said. Then the cab of the truck smelled like cigarellos and marijuana. Overall a very disappointing and upsetting experience.Robert P.

Our u-haul became detached 35 minutes into our trip. We were on 610 when the ball became detached and it was only attached by the chains. Someone could have been seriously hurt or killed. We called u-haul and waited an hour and no one showed up. We ended up getting help from a man who stopped to help us. When your employees attach a u-haul they need to make sure they know what they are doing.DANIEL B.

Reserved online requesting location closer to home. Thankfully I called to confirm reservation the day prior to find out the picked up location was different. Only thing better, is if it drove itself.... or had a bed behind the seats.... Everything on the U-Haul transaction was smooth and the truck was fantastic. Wish my own vehicle had A/C as cold... My only thing that could have put me more at ease, is if there was something one could do to kill the engine when one has to sleep at night in a hotel. Such as a key WITH A CHIP IN IT, that makes "only that key" specific to "that truck" That way no thief can steal a truck... But all n all,,, everything was greatKEVIN G.

I would recommend maybe offering trailer electrical adapters for rent. Our vehicle didn't have the proper port for the trailer we rented and the associate we worked with was very helpful in finding us the right one but unfortunately it was only for purchase. This was our first and probably our last time towing any load (we purchased a motorcycle and had to get it home. One time trip) and we did not have a need for the adapter. I think renting it out would be a great solutionHarsh M.

Despite the extremely grueling heat and my arrival past closing time on a Sunday, Leslie was welcoming and took care of me and others with confidence and authority. She took the stress out of moving. Justin was very rude. Went to pick up my ubox, first I was told that my large sedan wouldn't be suitable but come to find out they didn't have a trailer to hook it up to and advised that I come back Monday. I was also advised that I have to call ahead of time and arrange to pick up MY BELONGINGS which is no where in the contract. I ended up calling customer service who called a nearby location to get a trailer. I was so upset because he could have done this instead of trying to send me on my way. He was upset that he had to go pick up a trailer and did not try to hide it! Cody (General Manager) at 16405 I-45 in Houston was very helpful when we had returned our rental of the 15 foot moving van and the auto transport trailer. During our move from Las Vegas to Houston, TX. Cody basically showed us his concerned about our well being during our experience when we encountered a tire blowout on the auto transporter and having to sit and wait for 5 hours in the scorching heat of Texas. Customer Service that Cody provided us was 110% satisfactory and he needs to be cloned 10 times.
