They charged me more than I drive. I only drove 86 miles for some reason I was charged for 122 miles. The staff was also late when picking up the truck.

It took about an hour to book the vehicle... two parties waiting in line in front of me... only one agent available. At check-in/vehicle return about 7:45 p.m. the same day as my rental, two parties were ahead of me in line... only one agent available. The agent took my vehicle key and stated that he would email me my revised invoice and credit card statement. I had to visit the location the next day to get a copy of the revised statement and charges... I did not receive the promised email. Timely service is lacking at this location.

Only one problem was that head office redirected me to another pick up location. When I phoned the original location I was told that the equipment was not ready and had to be repaired although if I wished I could pick up a smaller version of what I ordered. I said that was fine and proceeded to pick it up. Upon arrival I noticed that the smaller version was NOT available but the original WAS ? This ordeal made for some anxious moments but all worked out in the end. Would probably rent from U-HAUL again as the equipment was good and the service was also and at a reasonable price. Check wiper blades for damages. It was a hot summer day then suddenly it started pouring rain. I turned on the wipers and the driver side blades came off, my visibility was not clear. I had to pull over and wait for the rain to stop. The employees was nice and did take off some charges. The situation could have been more serious but it wasn't, so I was satisfied with the service. Thanks all.

Get the breaks fixed on the truck I rented. Clean out the butts in the ashtray and air out the cabin. This location is a total pain in the ass to get to. The only reason I used this is because the markham location would not supply me with a 20' truck.

The service on the u haul 1800 number was not good. Long hold times, when I did get through to someone, I asked if it was the Kingston Road branch and she said yes , as the conversation continued clearly I was talking to someone in the USA ( as they asked for my zip code) . I had a specific question about the lighting package I bought for my vehicle , I was forwarded to a “ specialist “ who ended up being someone at a uhaul in Texas , they had no idea why I was connected to them and could not answer my question. In the end I drove an hour to the Kingston Rd location and had my questions answered .

The trailer looked fine at pick up, but after opening it 3 to 4 times, one of the retraction cables jumped the guide and prevented the door from closing, If I was not a bit handy with a set of pliers we would have been stuck on the road until road side help arrived. After that we did get a flat tire, but road assistance was able to help out with only about a 2 hour delay in my travel time, The third item that was an issue was, the seal of the trailer, after driving through a couple of rain showers, I found some water and dirt splatter over my goods inside the trailer. I could understand water coming in under the door, but this water was coming in higher up and landing on top of the items in the trailer.

The guys were eating food at their service desk and it wasn't exactly the cleanest area when they were serving people. If they are busy and have to eat in their area they should try their best to keep it clean. This was in just one of the 3 service desks.

I was asked to leave gas tank at half, as found on pick up. I left tank at 3 quarters. I think it would be nice and fair to receive some credit for the extra gas, especially considering the cost and the fact of how much I'd be charged if tank was less than half

We took 1 hour waiting. The office was empty and nobody was available then the guy on the counter was not nice at all. The truck was booked for 5 hours and since I wasted 1 hour on the site waiting for them to show up he gave me the truck for 4 hours and were like you take it for 4 hours or you leave. The truck was dirty with broken light, not ready at all. Just because I really needed it otherwise I would have walked out. At least when I return the truck the gentleman was nice and welcoming.

Staff at this location are always professional and courteous. Many other locations are run very poorly. I go out of my way to Toto this location just because the service is fantastic. The manager is very good with customers and problem solving.

There wasn’t a lot of staff to handle the check in and returns on a busy weekend. Staff was friendly and did their best to process customer orders quickly. During pick up the attendant didn’t have time to clean the van as he was busy processing orders. It wasn’t a big deal as it only took a few minutes for me to sweep

It's important to note in this review that while we were ultimately able to retrieve a truck from this location, the original depot we were assigned to did not have a truck available to us. UHaul was very good with rectifying the situation and compensated us as such, however it was regardless a very stressful situation on the morning of our move.

I think the parking area should be a little more organize as in the arrows on the ground should be brighter so that customers have it a bit easier to come in and out.

Our truck was not there at our pick up time. We had to get a smaller trucks and ended up spending way more money due to multiple trips. Uhaul didn’t even offer to make it right. They also forgot the dolly and I didn’t have time to go back and get it. Our move was pretty much a nightmare. Not reliable and no effort to try and fix the situation.

I rent U-haul trailers often. Normally I have no issues. This time was pretty terrible. I had a confirmed reservation for 8:00 am June 1 at 1555 Warden. Then I got an email saying my reservation had been changed by Uhaul to 4095 Kingston Road and the time changed to 2:00 pm. That was a very inconvenient time and location for me. The local agent was very helpful, but when we went to hook up the trailer he found that the trailer hookup part needed to be changed. That took about 30 minutes. Then we checked the lights and found that the lights didn't work and he had to change the wiring. There were other trailers on the lot so I asked if he could switch me to one of those. After doing that change I left with the trailer 45 minutes after we started hooking up the first trailer. Not happy.

Shit down your online booking facility. It is a fraud and cheats customers when booking. I’ll never use it again after it entering my postcode and date and vehicle pref and getting a long distance pickup, larger more fuel hungry vehicle and only 4 hours to use it. Went to my local and they sorted it out brilliantly. Felt valued. Fix your online system or get rid of it.

I first contacted the Ajax store. The woman said they did not have the hitch I needed but that the Kingston Rd location did and that she could make an appointment for me. She then asked for my credit card number. I hesitated but gave it to her. She then asked for the number code off the back of the card and I said no. She said I could not make an appointment without giving it because they were an appointment based company. What a crock of shit. I said I would drive to the other store and have it put on. She said that they would probably just make me step out into the parking lot and make the appointment from my phone. Again she said it was because they are an appointment based company. I was about to hang up when she made me an appointment without the information. Unless somebody from head office contacts me to reassure me this is not company policy, I will assume that it is and shall tell everyone I know to stay clear of U-Haul because they are not to be trusted. Which is too bad. Because I had always considered your company to be grass roots.

Only one guy checking in and one outisde. All locations are slow and need more hands on. Stop being so cheap. Time is valuable. The guys were nice, but they needed more help. 40 mins for a check out is ridiculous.

While the pickup experience was a breeze, since then it has been about 2 weeks and I have not received the refund of my deposit for the rental. I have called several times, been put on long holds and never given a straight answer as to where my refund check is. This kind of customer service is beyond disgraceful. Mike

Went to pick up the key with the mobile app and there was no key and all the vehicles were unlocked. Spent three hours trying to figure out what was going on had to pick up the vehicle the next day. Justin was great to work with.

the link sent by text to me as I was picking up the trailer showed me 4 pictures that were of poor quality and told me to look for 'x's that marked damage. It was next to impossible to see the 'x's , even in real life looking at the trailer the 'x's were very hard to spot. \ There should be a better way to confirm the damage points

In the first place I give instructions that I will be paying cash when I return the truck., but when i return the truck with trailer the lady without asking me he already charged it to my Master Card. Now, I said to the lady that he has to revert the payment he can't do it. So I think you didn't properly trained your staff. So my review is so "POOR"

I used the app to pick up my truck but when I returned it the app said the I have to pay for mileage 22000$.... I went inside to ask what to do and no one was able to help me, the guy told me that the next day the manager will call me...I'm still waiting that call...

I didn’t want Safe Move. I even confirmed with my insurance agent by phone that I am covered under my policy prior to attempting to opt out but somehow you slipped it in. I asked for it to be removed and yet there it is. For $15 it’s just not worth my time to fight it but it’s the last $15 UHaul gets from me. There are plenty of alternatives.

Explain to them that the 6 x 12 open trailer with the ramp is only a 4'-9" x 12' trailer. Something that is more than 4'- 9" will not fit into this trailer using the ramp!

Initially my reservation was at 1555 warden ave. They didnt have any truck for me when i went there for pickup. Not only the fact they had no truck but the white lady at the customer service desk was rude and racist. She was very polite the next white customer there but misbehaved with me. The other brown agents were very polite and helped me with the scheduling dept number to arrange an alternate. Also i booked the truck for 24 hrs but was able to keep only for 12 hrs due to Uhaul reservation issue.
