Usually this is a great location and very helpful. This time I had arranged for a 5:30am pick up on a Monday. The person working on Sunday forgot to prep a vehicle and leave a key in the lock box. I am not sure I would recommend this location to someone. I was the only customer there, and had made the booking online. There was no one else there, but it took me at least 20 mins to check in. The person was training, which was fine, but there was little support for him, and I am not confident I was charged accurately, as the other person on duty found some errors.Michelle P.

Vehicle battery low - almost wouldn't start the van. Emergency brake handle was detached from dash board. Likely not usable, but didn't need it - fortunately. Equipment service rep [wouldn't state name] very young person] very aggressive in lieu of providing customer options politely. First Impression service rep Victoria was exceptional with customer service a true professional. Your 1 way rental is a set 3 day rental. Maybe offer the option of a 2 day rental to bring the price down a bit. I had to pay quite a premium over your daily rates. I understand the rate needs to be more for the luxury of the 1 way option though.Neil T.
When a customer books a 6x12 trailer, you might actually have one available for the customer when he shows up for the rental! It is staggering how bad UHaul is at the most basic requirement of being a rental companyâ€¦DONALD R.

Every single time I picked up a new vehicle. The front of the Cabin always dirty and dusty, in fact this time I brought the vehicle home and clean myself because on the driver side and passenger side seats full of dog hair and in the air vent and on the dashboard.John P.

Went to this location because reservations on another uhual location on your website did not work on out to put it mildly. As we were unable to get a van from the place at 9am we made online we arrangements days before and already made other arrangements to pickup and dropoff some materials - we were in a bind. Went to this location out of desperation at 10:30 as two other vehicle locations had nothing and other locations on the websites had the same issue. As of 10:30, this location (4095 Kingston) had nothing available too, but had one vehicle in the lot which wasn't needed until 3 pm. After hearing our problem they were willing to accommodate us if we were able to get the vehicle back in time which we did. Person at desk then quickly got us situated with the vehicle . When we arrived to return the van, the service was very quick. There was an employee to take the keys, look at the gas and quickly get us checked out. Unlike the location we visited earlier in the day, this location is clean with a number of employees. Store has a large range of moving supplies.Dave M.

Horrible location. I am a frequent renter and this location accused me of not answering my phone to them on a occasion I rented which I did they had called me multiple times while I was operating the truck I did answer when the vehicle was stopped and now they are very rude and I will never rent again they need training over thereSukdeep S.
the address is a bit iffy on google maps, i got lost. but when i found it, everything was top notch. Though, they should give instructions on where to leave the keys after dropping off the truck late at night. Good thing I askedAdam B.

I had called last minute as the other rental company was not able to assist me. I was referred by my sister and thankfully they had a truck available. They were very friendly, understanding and accommodating and it was way more affordable as to my circumstances. Drop off and finalizing my invoice was so easy! The contract said the trailer was guaranteed at our preferred location and then a day before our move Uhaul calls us to say there isn't one available. Don't put that it's guaranteed in the contract if it's NOT!!Wayne T.

When returning the trailer the site was not working, couldn't up load the photo to complete the return but I was taken care of by the service team there, and no it wasn't my phone I checked my upload speed very possible it was chrome and safari.JAMES F.
The inside of the van was not clean; some debris from the previous customer was left behind. I cleaned it before returning so that I would not be blamed for that debris. I believe that the vehicle should be inspected at the time of return (this would make me more confident that I would not be blamed for damage I did not cause). The U-haul employee told me that returned vehicles are inspected the next day; this is not a fair practice for customers.Nadia H.

The 6x12 enclosed trailer I reserved 5 days prior to pickup was "not avaliable for in town use" even though it was there. The open trailer I was givin to move furniture was full of dirt and debris.Owen M.
I am living very close to this location, rented couple of times from this location before so today I called around 9.15 am recorder said waiting time for answer 15 min but I hold 30 min no response , then I drove to the location without disconnecting ( just two min drive) found there two person was on duty and in front of me only one customer was present !! He was done within a minute. Till that I was holding the line I spoke to the lady ,what happened to your phone?? I turned my speaker that she can listen her recorded answer ! Now she is telling me , oh no my phone is out of order & stared pretending to fix and she is telling me now it's okay!! No idea what happened!! But I am a 64 years old man worked 34 years in a management label, it's not so easy to make me a fool !! It's seems to me that, it was transferred to night mode or in message!! So she shouldn't be bothered by phone!! Whereas 10 to 15 vehicles waiting for Renton the parking lot !! Like my self many customers will call to check the availability for rent over the phone, everybody is not having computer access or not computer shabby or feel comfortable to clarify over the phone, just to know, do you have my desire vehicle available or not ? I have a request to the management to clarify about this and brief them to be more vigilance about the customer and business. Overall service was not bad with me because I showed her my cell phone that I am holding the call more than 35min that time, that's why I got extra attention May be. Please don't take this message in a tough way please. Just warn them so that they know per call is one sell and next time they have to be more attention to pickup the calls. From the very start I had major issues, a very unfriendly girl at the front desk set up my account. It took her 45 mins to get everything correct, however even after this I found my 4 digit entry pin was 5 digits and was a generic 12345! She obviously couldn’t be bothered to set up a paid for service on the system. I came back the following day to have this looked into by two other employees, it took 9 hours to solve the simple problem and get me after hours access. The main entrance to the storage units were a health and safety violation on a daily basis, to the extent of having to physically move large heavy fed ex boxes out of the way every time I needed access to my unit. This location (for a storage facility) clearly has zero storage for the 10s & 10s of toe bars and heavy boxes that are delivered multiple times per day. They are constantly blocking the fire exits and main walkway to all units. This is clearly in breach of all fire/health and safety codes. For a customer to have to move heavy boxes and toe bars out of harms way to gain access is ridiculous. My unit itself was ok but had zero lighting within, not even the hallway lighting could come in overtop as the walls were to the celling. I purchased my own lock from a local store because the lady that set up the account didn’t state any difference, only to find weeks later I had to purchase a U hall lock because mine wasn’t “fit for purpose” All in all my experience at the location is a 0 out of 5 I wouldn’t recommend to anyone and I’d appreciate some kind of compensation towards my overpriced rental. On a more positive note there were a couple of staff members who were polite and expressed their apologies for the inconvenience of the mess. They also mentioned that the first girl I dealt with was let go. The entrance blocking and lighting both need to be urgently rectified for obvious health and safety concerns. I noticed multiple cameras within the storage entrance so any administrator should be able to monitor this on a daily basis.Damian S. | Overall Experience
