This location is I'll prepare and totally unorganized: 1) the truck I reserved through 24/7 mysteriously couldn't be located on your lot. 2) After being assigned another truck, we located it and discovered that our Appliance dolly and furniture pads were not loaded! We spent 20 minutes looking for someone to help us get the dollies and the furniture pads. I paid for $40 in furniture pads but was told by the representative that I should only receive 24. Also, when I examine the truck the truck was setting on empty and had note gas whatsoeverâ€¦ I didn't had to go to the most expensive gas station across the way in order to fill up the vehicle so that I did not run out of gas. This cost $137! 3) When I went to return the vehicle representative at the other location was very friendly however his hands were tied and I had to be responsible for the 40 furniture padsâ€¦ I had to call traffic assistance who worked for 20 minutes trying to resolve my issues ultimately they were not resolved by phone but promised they would be. We will see. The issues above could've easily been rectified by having staff on site do their job and making sure the trucks are ready for lease and that the trucks are available on the lot when assigned to consumers. Also let's make sure that they actually have fuel for the trip!Christopher J.

I returned the vehicle/truck with a full tank of gas on Sunday night 7/31/2022. I got the vehicle/truck with just under 3/4 of a tank of gas. At the new location they did not have all the dollies I requested and was willing to pay for. since I only got one I only want to pay for one. 3. The only issue we had was the truck had little to no air conditioning and we were driving into 100 degree weather in Dallas Tx. The roadside assistance team we called while we were in Muskogee was on top of things and very helpful. 5 stars to them! The mechanic was unable to repair the system, so we opted to continue the drive into Dallas. It was a very difficult journey. We let the folks in Dallas know about the issue.Richard B.

I had a mobile 24/7 type of reservation, yet I was charged $20 for returning outside of business hours. I'm am absolutely disappointed, upset and embarrassed by the standard uhaul keeps the truck maintenance. I arrived at 645pm they had the doors closed. I was able to open the doors and negotiate with the representative. They didn't the materials I needed. I got my truck at 715pm. When I went back to complain about the issues the employee were gone and door was locked. I had no other option. The speedometer, a/c, and catalytic converter didn't work on the truck. Went to the Forest location and they did not have the trailer I needed so they sent me to LBJ. I was not sure if I could pickup without standing in line again or not. If I did not have to stand in line, I spent time in line I should not have. May have been my confusion, but not sure if I missed instruction on a faster experience at LBJ. Online dropoff was easy though congested with a lot of trucks that had been returned. Overall, everything was good. The guys helping with hooking up the trailer were great!JEREMY C.

This is a great location. The drop off process took over 30 minutes. Maybe the 2 staff members were overwhelmed with the 5 trucks that were sitting in front of us. The renters/drivers were already gone. We just had a 4X8 trailer and I had to walk up to ask for help. they only had 1 computer thing to check in the equipment. Each employee should access to that check in computer. this is a really big location.Pam M.

Representative did me and another customer at the same time and we were first assigned to a truck that we had to go search for on our own and was not there. Although I had made my reservation on line which I had done several times in the past I was charged for 2 dolly's when I only requested 1 and then ended up with none. More importantly, I have been charged 2 different prices on my debit card $97 and some cents and then charged today for $85 and some change. I called and, spoke to a representative yesterday and emailed uhaul/contact on yesterday. No one ever responded to email. Representative told me that my $14 would be returned since I did not have dolly's in my truck. I was also told that $28 would be returned if I returned truck at 1/4 in which I did and have not received refund. Received text message to respond to when returning truck and never found out how to submit it. In all 12 years of doing business with U haul this was the worst and most disturbing! Very incompetent employees caring about nothing when I went to pick up the truck. Customer service is also a joke. Even though I reserved the truck 2 months in advance, they called me the day before the pick up date and told me that the truck I reserved is not there in the location I preferred. I had to drive 15-20 miles extra for the another location but no one cares about except when charging for the miles! It was a horrible experience. Only positive thing was the return. This team was extremely unprofessional at many points. They messed me up very badly at the beginning of my rental and I was told by the GM that the company’s Marketing Company President said to not give me any refund. It was a terrible experience at the beginning and because of that I didn’t want to pay 172 for 8 days of storage rental. I was told that I need to pay it all except for a late fee or I wouldn’t be able to retrieve my items. I need better service here but I would never recommend this a UHaul. They put my life in danger by knowingly giving me a truck that was down for repair for it’s brakes. Do not go to this location. I got this storage in July of last year. And had it to date I’ve had issues 2 times which wasn’t my doing. No one seems to know what happened. First issue my lock was change and like I said no one knew what happened, so they gave me another lock. Second issue I was told led once I got an email asking me to give feedback on my move out (which was a surprise to me). So I called and the lady told me that I moved out and into another locker which was not true so another issue with someone. Again nobody knows what happened smh. So they moved me back into the original locker and then they go up on the locker like it was my fault. They just went up the same month this happened. I have never been late and some months I even paid early I guess the only thing I did wrong was paying my Locker fee on time smh. To this day no one has contact me about this issue. I was there for about six months and they increased the rent prices. The storage unit has no light. When I moved out there was a unoccupied vehicle in front of the ramp and I could not access my unit. The office staff advised that it’s normal for homeless people to sleep in their storage units and vehicles and that they couldn’t do anything about it! Terrible experience workers were not helpful and not friendly. It was difficult to reach anyone by phone at this facility. Was unable to get into the storage unit several times because the key cards were not working and workers took forever to open the gates. Several staff were rude and there is always a long wait. Storage hours are not long enough or fair unless you pay more for 24 hour storage. this was a horrible experience i will never use this company again the only reason uhaul stays open is because there are few storage companies around. Customer service call center is also terrible to i called to make a payment on my storage unit the worker stated she processed my payment well turns around she didn't and I had to pay late fees. Nobody at the front desk new what they were doing except for one person. After setting me up with a storage unit I was informed that I would have to carry my belongings up stairs. I can’t climb stairs let alone with boxes in my hands. When I check my bank statement I saw that I was charged for the unit. This was a terrible experience overall. I went to my unit to take off the lock and officially move out and what should have taken 5 minutes took over and hour. There were uhaul customers with moving trucks in the driving lane at the facility I was in blocking the exit. I was unable to get out of the facility and they refused to move. I tried to call the customer service team at the specific office I was at and they apparently do not have a direct line so I was talking to some at uhaul “corporate” that was 100% unhelpful. He was trying to get ahold of the workers on site, but was unsuccessful. We stayed on the phone for over 30 minutes in silence while he “waited”. I was unable to find another exit for me and my daughter. Vanessa constantly took home my unit key on several occasions. I spoke with Anna, the GM, and she wasn’t anymore help then anyone else I spoke with. My experience was horrible and I would never use them again or advise anyone else to use them either. Actually want to seek legal services for my situation. It states the facility is open 24 hours, but that’s only if the keys are available for your unit and not off property with the manager. I was never given an explanation as to why the manager Vanessa had my unit keys in her possession off duty. Very unprofessional place of business and poor customer service. I took off work to move, hired movers, and got a I haul to move just to be told to wait until Monday because the manager was out due to a family emergency. I understand things happen, but what I don’t understand is why my unit key wasn’t there? Why she took it with her? I went to the facility three times and all three times they were not there. Your pricing is too high compared to others and you advertise one price that when you want to book a unit, you find that the cheaper price is upstairs in the back and your sign says insurance is optional but you are then told that it is mandatory and the cost is not based on unit size and is very over priced for the amount of coverage. When I moved in it took 45min-1 hr to get the facilities lock off of the door so I could move stuff in. Very inconvienient. Their are no lights in the unit, so I used my phone light. My phone ended up falling and breaking the screen. If there was ample light, I wouldn't have had to use my phone, and the screen wouldn't have cracked ($200 break). When moving in, there were several loaded trailers sitting in the lanes to park in. Made it very difficult to park the 20 foot truck I rented. Why did those trailers not have a storage? First place I've ever been for a storage and not only has it was my first place it was the worst place and I lost all my stuff because the manager in the person that sold me my store is not a pulled in the right information that I was supposed to be told and I didn't appreciate it $500 Fit For A $9000 dollar bed not to mention i put a complaint from day one with the employee tooo busy hitting and trying to get my number then his job lost a couch and several values that i would of paid if people would of just been up front thanks never will i come backKristie M. | Overall Experience
