The first car hauler they hitched to our moving truck had bald tires. The only reason we found out was due to a moving truck issue. We had a 1400 mile move and that could have been deadly. They corrected the issue immediately but their internal inspection process needs clear improvement. Otherwise very polite and professional.

Dale and Trey were outstanding. Those kids are out in the cold but they are professional and dedicated. Trey did all the work of hooking up my trailer and was very helpful taking care of it all despite a very low 20s evening. Dale is efficient in dispatching and receiving rentals quick and with service attitude at all times. Congratulate them both, they are the last person we see when we leave with our rental and the first ones we meet when returning equipment.

I prepaid and checked in. Computer system said my desired truck was available. When I arrived I found out they did not have my truck that I all ready paid for and was told I would have to drive 20-30 minutes to pick up at a different location. The staff couldn't even give me a phone number for that location/only an address. I was told if I wanted to cancell my all ready paid for reservation that they inconveniently arranged for me that I would have to go there and do it myself. I tried calling the other location 4 times throughout the day/ no answer. I have rented here a few times before with no problems. Very dissatisfied this time. This location cost me both time and money. Staff acted like it was no big deal as if I were being inconvienient to them.

Horrible customer service. I will never use U haul again. I won't recommend them ever. I was sold a storage unit that had a lock on it. Store had closed by the time it was realized. Not a big deal? I had an upright piano on one of their trucks & no where to put it. When I called customer service I got the response of "We'll how do you suppose we correct it? Condescending, arrogant, flippant. Are you kidding me. I've never been treated so shoddy.

I made reservations on the rental truck the same day I picked it up which was fine. I arrived at the Garland location off of LBJ. The ladies at the front desk were helpful. Once I was done going over the contract I was given the key I left to go outside to pick up the rental. I opened the door and I was startle to find a man sleeping in the cab. As soon as I open the door we both jumped and he scared the hell out of me. I drove back to the show room to let the staff know that there's a man sleeping in the truck. At that point I didnt feel comfortable so I had to ask someone to go get the truck for me which is there job to have the truck running at the pickup location ready to go. After one of the team members drove the truck around to pickup so I can leave. When I got in the truck it smelled like alcohol and cigarettes ashes were all in the cup holder and the passanger side door. I was charged over $90 dollars and was not givin a discount or nothing..

No one explained to me that I had to fill the gas tank up All I was told was that they would charge $1 a mile plus the base. so I got charged 16 I did not know about. Also I was told to return the truck to the great tent . No one from Uhaul came to meet me at the geern tent. I had to go into the headquarters to check out. When I did they tried to charge me for 2 days instead on the one I used it. It was overall a very weak effort on the part of UHaul

Make it clear on the website when reserving a truck that if you don't put in a drop-off location, it will automatically make it a round trip. The form says the drop-off location field is optional, so I didn't put anything. Then I print out my confirmation and it says I will be returning the truck to the pick-up location. Please make that clear on the website. Thankfully, a staff member was able to clear it up for me, and I actually saved money. So that was really good. But I was really upset about the deception on the website.

Well make sure the behind counter person tells you the right thing. I rented a van and she told us to wait for them to bring it around. I had to go back in and ask if someone was going to bring van and then the other girl said no i can go inspect the van myself. That wasted my time. Same person said all the trucks a full of gas but not true. I still put in gas and was told i dont get credit or reimbursement. Thats Wrong! I havent rented from uhaul in awhile so it wasnt best experience.
