Unfortionly staff did not know what to do. Called ahead to have ready, passed around to 3 People and was not pulled or loaded on to a trailer. Next day was not ready, had to load while I waited. Third day came back for the 2nd Box, clerk had no idea what to do, had to walk the yard to find the Manager to get it exchanged.

I dropped off why are you all on time like I was supposed to. But they didn't check in my U-Haul until an hour and a half later. Then they charge me an extra day because of it. I have the Prius I dropped it off in time because my Uber picked me up 10 minutes after I dropped it off and they still charge me an extra day.

After signing paperwork, I was told to go to a location to get my trailer and someone would get it all hooked up for me. I walked over there and told them I was there to get a trailer. The guy looked at the paper and said I can go get it and pointed in the direction it was. When asked if I should just hook it up myself without anyone he said that was fine. After I went and hooked up to the trailer I was unable to plug in to the lights because it was missing the extension. I went back to the office and explained the situation. And he sent me back to where I was before with instructions to only talk to one person. He got me all set up in a professional and helpful manor. Those two people were very helpful and professional, but the one person that just pointed me in a direction and told me to do it myself was unhelpful and a lawsuit waiting to happen..

The 6x12 utility trailer I reserved is shown on the website to have a 6'2 opening. However, the trailer I was given was less than 5 ft. I had to be switched to an auto transport which was not what I wanted to use. The information is incorrect on the website.

Location did not have my reserved 26 foot truck in stock, after someone tried stealing it a prior day. The store had several other 26 foot trucks on site but said those were for “in town only”. The only other location was 30 miles away and I had movers on the way to my house. I was forced to get a small truck and rent a trailer. Neither of which of comped. Upon leaving the location I had a flat tire with the trailer and went to the Lower Greenville location for repair. The other location also found the trailer lights were not operational and fixed the issue. Please contact me as I would like a refund for my troubles

I called the day before and specifically picked this location 45 min away from the pick up location of our things because it was the only location with a 26ft truck. I got an email confirmation for the 26ft truck and the location address but when we arrived they did not have it. We had to leave things behind in our move across state because we could only get a 20ft truck. Super disappointing and made the move extra difficult all the way around.

Your pricing is too high compared to others and you advertise one price that when you want to book a unit, you find that the cheaper price is upstairs in the back and your sign says insurance is optional but you are then told that it is mandatory and the cost is not based on unit size and is very over priced for the amount of coverage. In other words, your storage is not worth it.

Just make sure, if you reserve a utility dolly and they are not ready available. I couldn't wait for it to be brought up to green tent in a timely manner. I had to leave could not wait for over 15 minutes. i had to meet movers. I called in and reported that I didn't receive. I was still charged for the item, that I did not use. Billing issue, please read the notes before you close out receipt. I called again and spoke to supervisor and she is going to care of the billing issue. Its just time wasted over something that should have been taken care of from the start. thank you for me letting me vent. Charles Hull

This last truck was in pretty bad condition. I think there was a hole in the muffler and the windshield wipers did not work causing my driver to have to go and buy RainX in order to safely drive.

I didn't have an issue with the Uhaul location except that the truck was on empty when I picked it up. It was mildly inconvenient but they gave me a fuel credit to offset it. However, Uhaul changed my location of pickup three times the morning scheduled and the vehicle type as well. I was not able to either use the web links for pick up or drop off online as it told me that I did not have a rental reservation. Also the photos of the truck at pickup were old and not representative of the current state of the truck itself. I took pics but I couldn't upload more than two because the “maximum number of uploads had been reached”. I showed and explained to the manager on-site and he was gracious and took notes. I hope that the Uhaul site is updated soon and made more intuitive. As it stands it was basically useless for my reservation. This is no fault of the location and I make no claims as such. I believe that it is with Uhaul itself and their website.

I was given a truck that had a busted door and a check engine light on plus the guy didn't inspect the vehicle before I left. But the kicker is...the Walnut Hill location was even worse when they messed up my reservation. The employee Sunny told me it was NOT HIS Problem! Seriously!! I will never use U-Haul again.!

i hardly ever get help in returning a trailer at this location. I just returned this last unit, as i have rented about 50 of these trailers from you guys before. I fell as i was removing the trailer from my vehicle. busted both legs and my shoulder and elbow. I sent pictures to your GM there. Your employees there actually run the other way when a customer is trying to return a trailer.

The woman at the desk was amazing!!!! She is the definition of amazing customer service. The other 3 or 4 gentleman dicking around on their cell phones a m d hurtled up in the corner talking about there weekend we're are a waste of your company's time and money. As for the truck it's self it was dangerous to drive. The steering wheel was shaky and when I would press on the breaks the steering wheel would shake worse. Then when I went to return the truck the return app crashed so I called the number and was on hold for a hour and a half and nobody answered.

I'd certainly love to give good news on my experience however I cannot do so from the very moment my wife and I walked in to get the truck and storage unit it was a nightmare apparently this is an ongoing thing with this place I tried to reach out on numerous occasions with no luck. I understand the breach of contract fine I accept that but to add a bunch of money because you wanna show me my wife and I are poor we recently lost our apartment because it was loaded with black mold and it affected my health you took every last dollar we had for bull 💩 charges insurance for the days cool understandable daily rental charge cool understandable gas in the amount that the contract stated fine but to charge me 120 dollars for gas that I didn't even use scam artists you need an overhaul in this location your company doesn't stand for what it was intended you take advantage of people who are on their last limb without a pot to piss in.

When I moved in it took 45min-1 hr to get the facilities lock off of the door so I could move stuff in. Very inconvienient. Their are no lights in the unit, so I used my phone light. My phone ended up falling and breaking the screen. If there was ample light, I wouldn't have had to use my phone, and the screen wouldn't have cracked ($200 break). When moving in, there were several loaded trailers sitting in the lanes to park in. Made it very difficult to park the 20 foot truck I rented. Why did those trailers not have a storage? They were just sitting in the way. I won't be back to this storage or rent trucks here ever again. Very bad experience all around.

A few concerns below - Appliance Dolly- I rented a Utility Dolly and paid $10 when I picked up the truck. I was double charged. My receipt has appliance and utility dolly charges but I rented only 1 piece of equipment. - I was informed if I put more gas than what was in when I picked up the truck, I will be given credit. That has not occurred - I changed my contract three times. The first truck had a broken door, the second one had the wrong mileage. I eventually got the TT7176E but the truck did not run smoothly and this delayed my move.

When I moved my things out they continued, for months, emailing me and telling me that I had a bill due. I called several times and spoke with several different people about getting the situation resolved and no one fixed the issue. Then I was told that my belongings were going to be auctioned and I don't understand why or how because I had already moved everything and paid my bills in May. Now in October you guys are emailing me asking about the service. Really?

Not enough personnel working at front counter. VERY SLOW SERVICE. One person working, with several people standing around. Storage unit was almost impossible to access. Parking/unloading area crowded with big storage pods. Security gates to storage area were open most of the day. I wish I had read the reviews before I rented storage at this facility.

Storage was moved without notice. Had to buy another lock. Had to provide renters insurance. Unit was already rented. No lighting. No overhead space. Expensive. Truck in way. No access, system failure. No guidance to find unit.

Once we had all our things loaded into the Uhaul and 4 other vehicles full with things as well, we drove from OC to the storage unit, it had a padlock on it. Apparently the clerk forgot to have the lock taken off. She was nice but trying to help to many people at one time. We had to bring the Uhaul to my mom’s house until the next day. We paid 5 people to help load and unload for nothing. We tried calling the General Manager but she wouldn’t answer, according to her, her phone was uncharged. We only needed the storage unit for 2 weeks but had to pay for a month. The GM did let us have the truck all day today and a free lock.

My unit was blocked by a truck and could not be accessed. Was told by the manager to come back tomorrow because they had no way to move it. Not sure how this is acceptable. Storage Units should not be blocked. My move in had to be delayed and it severely inconvenienced me and my friend that I had helping me.

The gentlemen named Phillip was who I had the pleasure of being helped by. He was killing it at the counter in the morning. He was helping two customers at a time, as well as directing the staff on where to go and what to do. The lady in the green shirt could have learned a thing or two from him. He was so nice that I even got a storage unit from him after being quoted a cheaper rate else where. Someone give this guy a raise! The check in process was also smooth. I hope to come back to this location for future business as long as Phillip is on shift :)
