The manager was excellent. Very helpful. The only complaint was a young lady who was always very rude. It was always a fight with her. I guess she's not working there anymore. Had I known that sooner, I would have stayed and continued my storage lease.
I scheduled for moving help through uhaul to pick up containers to bring back to my house. I called this location twice the day before and notified them that Gary was going to pick up items. They said that they never received phone call because it went to call center. I did not call the call center I called directly to the Mesa location. If they are unable to answer the phone call and it gets directed to call center that is not my fault. Uhaul should have a better process where calls from the location are not directed to another facility. Because of this they did not have my containers ready for pick up.
During the one way rental I was charge a total of $324 for a 3 day rental.

You over. Charged for mileage. The counter guy said he couldn't correct i would have to talk to the manager. I have tried for two days and he won't call. The store won't abmnswer and I get your service desk someplace and they say all they can do is text they don't have a number. They fo have and st least the service desk could follow up. It is the worst customer service I have had in a long time. I have three different people that followed me and they will all testify that the actual mileage is 25 miles. We are through with this as yet. I have called Visa and stopped the payment. If you don't want to handle professionally the I will go from there. What a sad situation for you guys.
The drop off was very easy.
Had reservation at 9, showed up and line of people a head of us. Computer crashed, lady had to restart entire order for people in front of us. 2 people in front of us left while waiting to be helped. Large location, not enough help. Young lady that helped us was SUPER nice and SPEEDY!
The equipment I wanted wasn't there, the staff was rude and I needed up renting a smaller trailer than I wanted when I had gone in and reserved what I wanted 3 days before. I will never use U-Hail again, you have r the rudest employees.

I think that the online check-in process is lengthy and takes far more time than checking in at the counter. By the time you're done, you still have to go into the counter to pick up keys and finalize your reservation. Other than that, the experience was pleasant and the return process was very simple and quick.
I feel the employees went above and beyond to make sure that we had our ever need. If ever in need of anything from U-Haul in Mesa I would highly recommend you go to this store.
the girl that works at main and lindsay in mesa is very rude. and claims she doesn't know anything. when we got the truck she pulled it up left it running and walked inside. she diddnt tell us anything.i expect that treatment from my son inlaw but not the girl at the u-haul.
get some people there that want to work and not just collect a paycheck!!!!!

The location on East Mesa all the employees were tremendously helpful and beyond nice. My first time moving out on my own ...paying everything myself. I was late returning the U-haul truck and the fee was waved. Also Im so glad I went there East Main st. In Mesa.... Seriously the owner of the trucks is super cool understanding of the situation I was in ...told me to take my time. I also renting a storage they offer to help me ...but luckily my friend came to help... But seriously I never received that of service before ...👍👍2 thumbs up 😊😊

I arrived at the location and did mobile check in, got assigned a truck and went to get the key and realized it was a key assigned to a different truck! i had to call customer service to have it fixed and i had to literally look in each truck for an appliance dolly i had requested and paid for. Both customer service rep on the phone checking in and checking out helped me with the truck mileage and gas they were awesome and took care of the issue for me right away.
Greet the customers when they come in. Otherwise a great location, fast and efficient.
I purchased “climate controlled” I have been there 3 times and it has been in the 40’s and 50’s in the unit. I told the manager and he didn’t seem to care.

The person who helped me needs serious customer service skills training. Plus i reserved moving pads and a moving dolly. The moving pads where not available but i was never told until i asked about them. Then i was told they where only guaranteed to be at one of the locations. I almost left without the dolly. I assumed she put it in the trailer. I had to ask for it. She was not helpful at all. The trailer had trash leftover.
Two young people were extremely rude, very inpatient with us, over charged us and were uninterested in talking it over with us.
Well, it would have been nice if we had been charged for the correct number of days. We picked up on a Wednesday at 2:22pm, and dropped off on Saturday at 6:45pm and were charged for FIVE days. Four days would have been correct, as we were several hours into the fourth day, but not FIVE. Everything was awesome until I got the receipt and found out I was ripped off... Thanks...

I would like to have the staff ask me of my needs ? In order to know the accessibility of the storage unit would work for me ? B4 going thru all the paper work and then finding out that the unit will not work ! Due to the location and what I would have to go through just to get there ! Everyone has different items to store...So it would safe alot of hassle and time for the person who is trying to find a storage accessible to his or her needs .
Friendly, swift, professional staff. Always reliable. I really have never had an issue with them. They always have equipment ready when scheduled! Will always use them for moving needs.
I did notice that there would be trash on the floor sometimes and then weeks later I would come back and guess what, the trash would still be there. I think the facilities should be swept periodically.
My experience was less than optimal. The prices on the wall did not reflect the price I actually paid. I was paying 70+ for a 5×10 whereas now I am paying 37 with less hassle to access my unit. The security system would not work correctly and I had to make repeated attempts to gain access. I do however have two positive remarks: Harvest did a good job installing my hitch and the manager was helpful, but there was one staff member who had an attitude and bad choice in hair color. I will choose a different U-Haul location in the future for any rental trailer that I may need. Delpreet was helpful in reducing my monthly fee as well, but I found a better location that is more reasonable. So, price and ease of access were the two main factors in my relocation of my equipment.
I have been an ongoing customer for years at Uhaul. And Jeff, the GM of the Lindsay & Main store has always been very kind and responsive to us with our truck rental needs. So his store was the first one we went to.
When I dropped the trailer I asked the employee if they would like me to unhook the trailer. The lady said no that it was her job and grabbed the trailer light plug from the trailer and ripped it out. In doing so she pulled one wire out of my plug on the truck. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but that was uncalled for!!
I've rented trucks from this location for years and a year and a half ago I also rented a unit. This location "used" to be a very dependable, friendly, professional and knowledgeable U Haul to do business with. They "were" top rate a business I had no problem recommending to anyone. I honestly don't know what has taken place there, but I do know it isn't good. What used to be a fantastic place with employees that were great, is now a U Haul, I honestly say run, run like the wind, do yourself a favor, save yourself a whole lot of wasted time and an abundance of frustration and go somewhere else. I hate saying that, because, this was for the longest time the ONLY facility I would go to and encourage family, friends and anyone that asked, needing to rent a truck or in need of a storage facility. I've helped so many, move in and out when they no longer needed storage. After my recent experience that went far beyond a level of frustration, stress, confusion, unprofessionalism and mismanagement, than it should of ever been allowed to. It was a constant onslaught of, lack of knowledge, passing the buck, unwillingness, blatantly rude, uncooperative attitudes and those are some of the better instances of the whole mess. There was a total of 7 people, of what I believe was a total of three different groups of individuals that while waiting, watching and listening to the horror I was having and going through, that they all made a comment and then left, right then and there to go elsewhere. How I wish I had. The one and only thing that I can't say, is that they are consistent. Consistent in making it a complete frustrating, horrid, waste of time experience ever. So, again I say, your time is valuable and most of us don't have a lot of it to waste. Stress levels are up with all we are dealing with as a whole, that not any of us deserve or should be treated and have to go through what I did here. See, I was under the misconception that by us going there, renting and or buying equipment and moving items and renting units with UHaul, that it afforded them a roof over their heads and a paycheck. Never should you have to apologize to someone for asking or expecting them to do there jobs. But you will at this U Haul location!
I have submitted multiple dispute forms and have emailed multiple times regarding my bill and NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO RESPOND!
The employees were not wearing masks. The trucks are not fogged or wiped down. The back of the truck was full of stones. The dolly and pad plastic tie was already broken. When we returned the truck and told the girl she said oh ok. Well I was charged anyway. We rented a dolly and I sure didn't need 2. It took over 40 minutes to rent the truck and he acted like I hadn't done anything online. He offered no help to carry the supplies we bought. We had a bad experience here last year but since it is so close I thought I would give it another try. Well only to be frustrated again.

When I picked up the uhaul it was very dirty inside and the previous persons trash was still in the front cabin. Given that we are in a pandemic and I have a small child this was unacceptable. If the previous renters had COVID-19 then it's possible we were exposed to it due to uncleanliness and safety protocols not being taken. We have been safe thus far so if any of us gets sick from this move I will hold this location responsible for not taking precautions.

The staff were great and made the experience very effortless. I appreciate the detail they went into before I even left the lot. The truck was well maintained. I heard horror stories renting a uhal for local use but I can say I would for sure rent from here again! Everything was incredibly easy and smooth!
QUIT overbooking online. I arrived to my initial location to find out the truck I rented was overbooked. They had nothing available in stock unless it was a quick turnaround. That's not what I booked. I had a moving party waiting, it was an inconvenience having to go to a different location that was out of my way. They sure made it happen and was lucky to find one. QUIT pissing people off by overbooking!

The staff at Main and Lindsey was excellent! Great customer service! However the phone calls that where to the switch board to get service where WAY to long of a wait. Hire more corporate phone reps please
Female who helped me was rude and irritated that she was not aware that I had reserved 2 UBox and had no one available to operate the forklift. She was on her personal cell phone in front of me speaking with another employee rolling her eyes while speaking about my situation. Her response was “look you can wait 2 hrs if yuh what because this is my last priority or I can get you in an unit.”
When I moved out the person that helped me was very kind BUT the other young man that was smoking right in front of me with no friendly manners musta got up on the wrong side of the bed. A little disfuntionnal is how I took it..the van I rented was nasty dirty, I've been with you for 4 years and never had issues with my unit but some of the staff need to be a little more friendlyer..
The team was great and very helpful. Also, the store was clean but outside near our unit , it smelled like urine. Over it was a good experience.

I just moved out of Unit B83 since it had a. Inch gap under the door that never had weather stripping put on it in spite of asking Manager Jeffrey multiple times and even calling the 1-800 number who sent an email to Jeffrey that was never responded to. When I lifted the door yesterday I discovered that the unit doors had been painted and overspray went under the door and ruined some of our household items. I am now having to file an insurance claim. I spoke with Jeffrey about this and all he would do is print out a form that instructed me how to go through the claim process. I asked if he wanted to see the damage and he said no. Miserable place to rent.

I went to move my items and a lock was on my unit and called the manager told me to just cut the lock off i didnt have anything to cut it off wit so i had to pay the movers a extra $65 so i could run to lowes to get something to cut it off with..the bad part the customer service rep said they put it on my unit by mistake..i should be refunded $65 i paid the movers as they had to wait a extra hr...

Homeless people living out of storage units were in the way when I would go to my storage unit. Feces on the ground. I enrolled in auto-payment yet was still charged a late fee.

I would give 5 stars because it is clean, well-maintained and the people were great to work with. However, the freight elevator is very slow and awkward and OLD. It should be updated.

Needed to interact with staff multiple times to achieve simple things. Three different people experienced the staff with me all seemed highly incompetent and more than likely under the influence.
I was satisfied with the service I received from the staff at u-haul. The one thing that really worked for me was the 24 hour access. My schedule sometimes isn't 8 to 5 so I thank you for having that.

My unit was on level 2 and the elevator was faulty during every visit to my unit. It appears that a customer is living in his unit. I notified staff of issues, I was told that complaints are common.

It was easy to get my U Box. Jeff had it all ready to go and personally assisted me getting the tow dolly hooked up to my vehicle. Off and running quickly. The return check in was just as easy.

With the reviews on Yelp I was a little concerned but they more than exceeded my expectations. We wanted 1 Ubox ready for us and they reloaded every time we left allowing 4 to be done it 1 day!!!!!!
Good place to store things but in my case I was placed there from Wisconsin which was quite a distance from where I lived it was the fault of the dealer in Wisconsin.
I went in for boxes. I was helped quickly and they helped me load the boxes into my car.
Uhaul shipping of UBoxes has been a challenge with this location, I would never Recommend using them

The entrance door to c49 where my locker is needs to be patched at door I had one of your carts full of my stuff almost fall on top of me when the cart the spot with no payvment.
There was a new employee...foul mouthed...he should be more respectful of others....other than that ...a very good experience.
U haul box did not arrive on time. Once box arrived store did not have ubox trailer available so we had to wait another day before actually getting our box.
My only issue was with the u-pods I had in storage... it seemed to take a while when calling the office to find these and I got transferred around a few times too until we found them.
Great place to rent from. No critters. We had a climate controlled unit.
