When I picked up the vehicle, the milage was at 12139. The paperwork I received from the front desk stated the starting milage was 12133. When I told the manager at the desk this, he said he would take care of it. I received my invoice and it still has not been corrected. I would like it corrected and the charge for the decrease in milage refunded to my account. I emailed the store manager per the invoice email, but I have yet to get a response from him regarding it.Christopher H.

I called months ago canceling my storage. I cleared out my storage prior to the first I was still charged months later. There’s no communication. There’s also no customer service. Nobody was there when I arrived at this location. I have to push a walkie talkie to get the employee attention which I had to wait 15 minutes for. Once employee arrived I had to drive to the rear of business and he said he be right with me. 15 minutes nobody showed up so I disconnected the trail myself. I went back up to office and the one and only employee working was with 2 other customers checking a rental. I told him I disconnected the trail myself and left it. He said he would send me an email for the check out since he was with 2 other customers and I did not have time to wait. Then I got an email stating I am being charged for an extra day. Very surprised at the quality (negative) of the "second floor" storage units. I thought "you have got to be kidding me". Really ? a second floor you have to climb a portable stairway to ? How do I get a washer and dryer up there ? How about the sofa? Really a shame. I was forced to get a bottom level outside storage for my daughters items. Cost me way more than the "second floor". What has happened to the quality of U haul storage units ? Franklyn very helpful in finding me a unit so I didn't have to go elsewhere. This complaint was not his fault. Worst experience I have ever had from start to finish. My truck was not available for pick up at the location listed on my reservation. I had to drive twenty minutes away to get my truck at an additional location. When I dropped my truck off and went to the storage unit, the staffed claimed my reservation was not able to be found at that address until I showed them three proof of reservation confirmations. I will never be using Uhaul again.TYLER K.
The 10 bed truck was new and that was nice, however I picked the truck up after hours, and they forgot to put in the hand dolly that I had ordered and paid for, as well as the fact that the truck came with NO ramp! I understand that, while it may be common knowledge in this business that trucks under a certain bed size do not come with ramps, but there is no way the average public would know that! I had to PURCHASE a hand dolly for $88 at home depot because they failed to put one in the truck. I could not rent one from Home Depot because this was a one way rental from Orlando to Key West and there was no way for me to be able to return the dolly, so I was forced to purchase one! There was no gas in the truck either, like less than 1/8 of a tank. The fact that there was no ramp pretty much crippled the entire purpose for renting the truck. I had numerous heavy boxes, bins and furniture that was impossible to load without a ramp. If something of a refund for a portion of the amount I paid, nearly $500 can not be refunded I am going to do a chargeback on my credit card for the entire amount.John I.

When I came to pick up the trailer on 5/7 they had no clue about it. I reserved it online on 5/3 for 24hrs but got a call from Jennifer (very nice) on 5/5 that my initial location Winter Park didn't have it available, so I was transferred to the Lockhart location. I picked up on 5/7 and employee named Tommy had no interest in answering my questions and I didn't double check, but he changed my reservation to less than 24 hrs and when I returned before my 24hr reservation on 5/8 at 1pm. They charged me a 2nd time on my credit card, bc they did not check it in till Sunday 5/9. That location acts very fishy and will not go to that location again.MANSOOR K.

We received the wrong trucks twice and they drive twice to our location to switch trucks which mad our move an hour past schedule for the movers Nd cost us a 100 late start fee. When I picked up the van it was dirty inside and out...I pointed this out and advised the agent the purpose of my rental....no time to change it but the other one was just as dirty outside...pulling up to my clients i was so embarrassed at how dirty it was. I've been coming to this location for over 12 years sometimes 4 times a month and I am very disappointed in the overall service I received....Very! What is going on! But the manager unwilling to help or trying to keep a customer happy and to keep a returning customer. I wouldn't recommend to my friends and family. This is why rating average. I need a phone reservation for the storage facility. When I got there they told me they didn't have the size storage that I have reserved. It was only after I made a bit of a fuss that they suddenly and almost amazingly found the unit that I had reserved! Not only that but I saw Uhaul Hawks on other units of the same size so I believe that the original salesman was trying to upsell me. When I left the salesman assured me he was going to go check the unit and check me out. He did not do so. It was only after I received an email saying that I still owed money that I found of his mistake. I had to call the facility to get them to go remove me from the system. It's always fun to find out after waiting in line at a uhaul location that the 7am pickup location on your receipt is different from the actual pickup location. When I got to the new location, nobody was there. After frantic calling and waiting on hold forever, I ended up with the uhaul more than an hour late and missed much of the time I had for the movers.
